I'M OVER THE MOON HAPPY! I've had a 70 inch TV in my bedroom for years now and always wanted it…read moremounted but thought it would be too heavy and too much noise for my neighbors who's bedroom is on the other side of the wall of my townhome. Well... since Ms."Rona" came to town and effected all of our lives I've been on lock down cleaning and redecorating like crazy starting with my bedroom so I decided to have the TV mounted. That's when I met the most professional young man I've met as far as business is concerned in a long time! I found Geo on Yelp contacted him and within seconds he responded. Then he texted me the most detailed and simple questionnaire so he could give me a quote. I completed it... with photos (because I'm just extra) and he sent me the most reasonable quote with options that I didn't bother to look for anyone else... I just asked him "When can you be here?" Well, Geo showed up and showed out today! Yep, the very next day he came and discussed my options with me again about which mount would best suit my needs and he ended up saving me money (I liked that about him, he didn't try to up sale me) I even ended up buying the mount from him which was shockingly cheap! He even came equipped with extra HDMI cables (I needed a longer one) that were also reasonably priced so I purchased it from him also. Geo finished mounting the TV in no time and even helped me move the dresser the way I wanted it afterwards and vacuumed up behind himself... this gentleman is the real deal! He was even kind enough to put two screws in my office chair for me. *** PLEASE SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES *** especially a class act like this one! Three thumbs up and five I will definitely be calling Geo again and you should too!

He spent about 15 minutes looking at everything. We also had John C Flood give us a quote... He spent over an hour looking at the job, and discovered today there was a code-compliant way to do the job without replacing the whole panel (saving us multiple thousands of dollars), and that an HVAC panel removal would be required to do the job (which JAB had not seemed to notice). We hired John C Flood, so I don't know for sure--maybe JAB would have done a good job, but I certainly got the sense that they were a lot less thorough.

My experience with Bryan Electrical Service was disappointing. I hired the company to replace an…read moreattic fan. The written proposal estimated approximately three hours of labor and stated that unforeseen conditions would be communicated before proceeding and handled through a written change order. After arriving, the technician decided not to replace the existing approximately 24-year-old housing. Instead, he retained the old housing and installed only the new fan/motor component. The new housing and other installation components, including brackets, wiring and hardware, were not used and were left behind still sealed in their original plastic packaging. I was not informed of this change until after the work was completed, which took approximately 20-30 minutes. Had the technician explained the proposed change before proceeding, I would not have approved that installation as proposed. I believed I was purchasing a complete attic-fan replacement, not the installation of selected components from a new unit into the existing 24-year-old housing. I would have either requested a reduced price for the reduced scope of work or declined the work and obtained a second opinion. I was never given that opportunity. I contacted Bryan Electrical afterward and requested a reasonable adjustment to the labor charge. The company declined and maintained the full charge. I paid the invoice in full under protest, but that payment should not be mistaken for satisfaction with the service or resolution of my dispute. My primary concern is not that the technician made a professional judgment in the field. It is that the scope of the work materially changed without being discussed with or approved by me beforehand, and I was then charged the full amount. As a customer, I expect to be informed when the work I agreed to is going to change so that I can decide whether to proceed and on what terms. That was not my experience with Bryan Electrical.
