Johnny and his team just finished our backyard this morning and I can't say enough good things!…read more For starters, I reached out to them and found them to be responsive and available quickly. The initial consultation was thorough, and they prepared the quote quickly. The quote was detailed, it was easy to discuss/implement any changes - it felt like a truly cooperative process to come to a plan that we liked, was practical for our lifestyle, and within our budget. We were really looking for a company that could come in and take care of everything without the need to subcontract anything out, or organize additional vendors on our own and they fit that bill. They installed turf, removed 2 old rotting tree stumps, cleared out and replanted 2 areas of the garden, replaced a broken/rotting fence and set of steps, carted away any junk from the yard that didn't belong, and even repaired a hole in the cement left by the previous owners. The other thing that I really appreciated was that they listened when we said we wanted to keep things very low maintenance. Plants were chosen in a way that doesn't require us to fuss over them and allows us, our kid, and our dog to actually use the space without being worried about things getting ruined. During the work they required access through an apartment and were respectful of the space (and everyone's time), and left everything clean. The job took a touch longer than anyone initially expected, but that was caused by weather delays and a few extra items that came up as they were working. Communication about any changes was prompt, the additional work that came up was explained clearly, and I found any additional charges to be more than fair. We're so excited to get to use our garden and watch it grow as the weather improves, and I look forward to having Johnny and his team return for any regular maintenance. We loved the design they put together, they helped us make decisions to maintain high quality and stay within our budget, they were communicative throughout the process, and my dog loved the whole team which is always a great sign. Not only does the garden look gorgeous but I have never had such delicious tomatoes, squash and raspberries in my life. As the sole owner and LLCs, earnings are 100% pass through. This has been verified through publicly available documents on state websites. She stole $8438 from me in 2018 by refusing to follow through on the agreement and return the money. She puts on a good show -- "following through" with providing landscaping plans per agreement, collected the money, set up an install date. But that's where it ends. First, she said she is happy to take credit card for payment. Then she says she can't get the money from the credit card processor, so asks for a check. Two-three days before the install date, she has to cancel due to her mother's health and postpone til next spring. She says I will be the first install next spring. I immediately asked for my deposit back. She says she can't b/c the deposit has already been spent on plant purchase, etc. As the spring approaches, she has one excuse after another about not being able to commit to a date. Running out of excuses, she states that she's out of town and will let me know when she returns. Then shuts down communications. She also opens up businesses in NY and NC using basically UPS box addresses, so it's very difficult to physically track her down. And uses third party affiliations to try to build legitimacy. With hindsight, her intention was to steal from me from the beginning. She knew exactly what she was doing -- she was going to shut down her NY business and run this scam through the NY business to make it more challenging for consumers to take her to court. I want to make sure that all consumers are aware of her scamming. I have all documents backing up above and happy to share.
