Phoned in an interview for labor day weekend. They were off Saturday, but were able to drop it off Saturday night at the hotel so i could have it delivered on Sunday. Beautifully unique arrangements and in season flower varieties make this shop special. I was first alerted to the new flower shop when someone sent an arrangement to my office. It was petite but visually stunning. Since then I frequently stop by to gaze in the windows and see what fun ideas they have. Around Christmas time they had the most adorable sled covered in wintergreen arrangements. In the spring, I was drooling over their magnolia leaves and branches. I went in with my sister to grab some florals for a photo shoot. They helped us choose fall inspired colors and textures that were compelling. The bouquet was small but it still rang up to $75. The price was a bit shocking but we were very happy with the finished product. read more

I was looking for a place to do an interesting bouquet arrangement for our very small wedding in DUMBO. I After seeing some reviews, I realized this was exactly where I needed to get everything from, and I was amazed at the finished result!! I called about a week ahead of time to have my bouquet, boutonniere and 2 flower crowns (adult and child) made. I handled everything over the phone since we aren't local and we're traveling almost 3 hours. I was highly impressed by how well they interpreted exactly what I wanted. 2 stars because we used to buy from this flower shop all the time as we've lived in dumbo for several years and have always had a great experience, flowers would always last for 1-2 weeks at least! Sadly the quality has gone down hill obviously. Bought a bouquet on Monday and this is what it looks like today (Thursday), roses already dead and hanging. I had been looking forward to visiting this shop for a while. I finally made time this rainy Saturday and waited patiently for 20 minutes in line. When it finally came my turn to enter, a woman (squat, with long dark hair, possibly 50s), came out of the shop and interrogated me about the purpose for my visit. She turned me away as I tried to answer that "I would be interested in terrariums and..." She cut me off immediately, saying in a condescending manner she was too busy due to Mother's Day, come back next week. There were a total of 3 customers and 3 workers inside the shop at the time. She didn't even let me finish what I was going to say which was that I was also looking for Mother's Day gifts for several people. She kept cutting me off basically telling me to go away in a rude manner that she was too busy; I wasn't even allowed to go inside the shop to look around. I got a very racist vibe from her as I watched how she treated her non-Asian customers with welcome smiles and fawning attention. I am also busy, and invested my time waiting there for 20 minutes with the intention to spend hundreds of dollars at her store. Instead of any apology for the wait, or even a neutral (normal) reception, I got the rudest treatment as I reached the front of the line. I was not welcome there, possibly due to not looking like the other customers? Additionally, she claimed she was "so busy" she couldn't listen to my answers to her entryway interrogation questions, but she came out a few minutes later to move potted plants around by millimeters. Very busy, doing very important things. It's sad that in these pandemic times people cannot treat each other, let alone customers, with common decency. Not sure how they expect to stay in business with discriminatory and rude practices. Their flowers might be pretty on the outside but the inside is pretty ugly. read more

Also, some of the flowers died the day after! for that amount, I would have wanted something a little more substantial. I would have been better off going to a grocers and buying 5 bouquets to make the arrangement. it would have looked far more brilliant that what I recieved. the pricing is too high for me, I would prefer to pick up something in the city at a place which is more reputable. read more
