I live in CA and called The Rose Garden to deliver Mother's Day Flowers to my Mother in Brooklyn. They did a fantastic job! She was thrilled with the large, exuberant display of many different blooms. They added plenty of lilies which I requested. If you are sick of paying a bunch of money for puny, underwhelming bouquets from places like 1-800-flowers, contact The Rose Garden. I don't think they have a storefront, so everything happens by phone and their delivery fee is very reasonable. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to people who like big, full bouquets.

Absolutely the best florist I've done business with. I needed an arrangement of sympathy flowers and Miguel exceeded my expectations. I text him a photo of what I found on a competitor site to give an idea of what I was looking for. He ended up creating and even better arrangement that blew me away. I've been disappointed in the past by other florists, but this place is one that I will come back to again.

Okay so for starters, the florist doesn't technically have a flower shop for customers to walk around in. The flowers are well kept in a basement so it can be confusing once you get to the destination listed. I had to call him & wait for a few minutes but it all worked out. I have nothing but positive things to say about the service I received. Miguel was able to accommodate my super last minute order for a birthday. I called him at 9:45am & my order was ready by 11:30am. He literally told me to give him 2hrs & I was able to get the flowers how I imagined and the birthday girl loved them dearly. Highly recommend this place & would come back whenever I'm in town. Great service!

I placed my order over the phone with the owner. I explained to him that this is a very special order for my dearest friend for her gender reveal party. Her favorite flower is peonies and I wanted a beautiful bouquet from peonies. I told the gentleman to hide the bouquet in the paper so my friend won't be able to see the pink color until she find out the gender of the baby. Well there was NOT one peony flower in that bouquet. It was completely a wrong order I was given. I texted the number of the number owner later that evening. My message was read but there was no reply to follow. My three texts were simply ignored. I will never order from that place again. I paid over 100 dollars for a completely incorrect bouquet and zero response from the owner. read more

I don't often write reviews but Miguel is deserving of the best review for the floral arrangements that he put together for our dinner. I am quite particular and had a vision and wanted something outside of Miguel's typical style. Through many conversations (Miguel was patient enough and he listened to exactly what I wanted) he helped me arrange the most magical floral centerpieces. Our guests loved them too and they complimented on how beautiful they were. The flowers brightened up the entire room, and I was so pleased with the price that we paid. I had shopped at many vendors and landed with Miguel because he offered the best rates and had phenomenal reviews (now I understand why). Such a nice experience! Miguel was so easy to work with. I called and asked if I could pickup a bouquet for a friend with about 2hrs notice. Miguel asked me what kind of colors I wanted and how much I wanted to spend ($50). I have him CC info over the phone end when we came by, he brought the bouquet upstairs and we were ready to go! (There's no showroom for the store/flowers so there's no walk ins and everything must be ordered in advance). I was beautiful with nice hydrangeas and other springy flowers. I felt like it was a great value and a seamless process! I'm totally not surprised so many reviews mention Miguel and how awesome he is. read more

Miguel was great to work with. I called him at 2 PM for flowers as a friend's mother had passed away. He was so responsive and was able to get a beautiful arrangement together for her and deliver it the same evening. He was even able to accommodate my wishes for omitting specific types of flowers. I'm on the west coast and my daughter lives in Brooklyn so I searched Yelp for a local NY flower shop to send her a congratulations bouquet. Miguel was so helpful and friendly over the phone - I gave him a price and he put together a cheery arrangement, which my daughter loved! The bouquet was so large that she had to put the flowers in a few vases around her apartment - and instant loveliness everywhere! I would definitely shop here again - highly recommend! Miguel is amazing to work with! I called him to create eleven centerpieces for a bridal shower. He was friendly and took direction regarding color and style, and gave me some of his own recommendations that made the centerpieces so absolutely stunning. He was organized and easy to work with. I paid for the order upfront and Miguel delivered promptly at the 10am setup time and carefully delivered the order and even offered to help me set them up on the tables. So many good-great reviews! Miguel was so kind and helpful offering ideas for types of flowers, colors, and styles of arrangements. Also very useful was the extensive posting of all kinds of floral arrangements for different occasions on The Rose Garden Yelp site. Such beautiful floral artistry. As far as cost, I was expecting it to be high - famous high New York prices - yet, the larger than expected arrangement was quite reasonable and included delivery. Miguel made the ordering process easy and texted a picture of the finished arrangement and the credit card receipt. They found a small bouquet of roses and handed them to me with no offer for partial refund but they offered me a used glass vase. They seem like nice people but I am just not happy with my experience.

First impressions are everything. It's a Monday, I'm walking- by a flower shop and it said "Open"…read moreon the front door. I then saw they were hiring florist or interns. I wanted to inquire about the store and what they offered. I entered the store and a lady came from the back and asked aggressively if I needed something, while telling me to get OUT.....I was so confused she was behaving like a broke in.... She then says "It's not a walk in place" I then snapped at her and let he know the door said open and a sign outside was saying how wonderful the neighborhood is..... Well she was horrible and if you have supported this place DO NOT anymore. This place definitely needs to be closed permanently or you need to learn what open and closed are.

I have been there with family and friends shopping for flowers, plants and herbs for quite some time now. I have never experienced any problems or issues with the store, employees or management. What I have seen is disrespectful, entitled and downright belligerent customers yell, swear and make everyone around them uncomfortable. The staff kept their composure and tried to de-escalate the situation. If you want beautiful flowers, plants that will survive and herbs that are fresh. This is your go to place. Family owned businesses need your support. Please shop local and be respectful of those who are doing their best to survive in today's economy.

Before I start my review, I should preface that most of my reviews on Yelp are related to going out…read moreto bars, cheap eats, fine dining, etc. so take what I have to say about a flower shop with that taken into consideration. That's not to say I don't frequent flower shops. I do. I pick up plants for myself and pick up flowers for dates, my mom, my grandma, etc. It's just that it's not in the same frequency as saying going out to eat and therefore am not as knowledgeable. That being said, I picked up some roses for a birthday. I was fairly satisfied with my purchase. The flowers were fresh and smelled nice. There was a good selection of plants and flowers. The service was quick and friendly. The place itself has a very mom and pop establishment vibe to it. As I noted at the beginning, I don't have as much experience buying flowers as I do say a good slice of pizza so I don't have as much experience in terms of the basis for comparison, but if I were in the area, I would definitely come back to get flowers for another occasion.

They have anything and everything you can think of.. and that includes my all-time favorite boriqua delicacy.. pastelles! I picked up a dozen (half chicken, half pork) for only $22. They come frozen & bundled in twos and are the perfect size, which make them easy for boiling. If you've never had a pastele before, they are sort of similar to a tamale.. except made with masa de yuca instead of corn flour. They are filled with meat, pimento, olives and more, all mixed together with delicious achiote seed oil, spices and herbs. Up until the week before my wedding, my bridesmaids and I were planning on doing some very simple flowers for the ceremony ourselves. Eventually, though, as we were working on scheduling, we realized that it was going to be a major stress and could possibly go very wrong. However, we had a very limited budget for flowers, and weren't sure how we'd be able to get flowers that we'd like without doubling or even tripling that budget. Enter the Rose Garden. My mother found them through Yelp, and when she told me what their rates were I immediately assumed something was wrong, because they were easily half everywhere else we were looking. But when I saw the super-positive reviews, I felt much more comfortable with it. Miguel was such a pleasure to work with. My initial meeting with him lasted maybe 10 minutes, because I just showed him photos of the bouquet we liked online and his response was "yes, we can do that." And not only was he able to replicate the bouquet perfectly, he also created variations on it for the bridesmaids' bouquets, the groom's and groomsmen's boutonnieres, and flowers for the chuppah. Miguel made one of the most stressful parts of wedding planning into one of the easiest and most successful, and I've already started recommending him to friends. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I order a get well bouquet for same day delivery. I ordered over the phone, which I was ambivalent about since I've had very disappointing experiences in the past with flower shops and delivery- the whole "you never know what you're going to get." I spoke directly to Miguel who let me name my price and worked with me to make a bouquet in that price range- including tax and delivery! He was more then happy to answer all of my questions and describe different bouquet options. He was also happy to work with me to deliver the flowers at the latest time possible (remember-same day too!) (and when I knew the recipient would be home). I asked if he would text me a picture of the flowers once completed and a few hours later I got 360 degree pictures of a gorgeous spring bouquet! The flowers were delivered, the recipient was home to receive them, and everyone was happy! Miguel is fair, pleasant to work with, and you can be sure to get a high quality product! read more

Miguel is fabulous. I was looking for a place to provide flowers for my wedding. I wanted a beautiful creation based on a photo I found and he was able to go above and beyond. He looked at the photo and suggested a small tweak to adjust for flowers not currently in season and recreated the bouquets without skimping on quality or quantity. I regret that I didn't meet him in person, because o would have loved to have him see the appreciation in my face. The flowers were exactly what I wanted in the right colors. I found Miquel and The Rose Garden online and the shop was near the gallery where my niece had an opening yesterday, Oct. 30, 2024. Miquel promised me "a beautiful Polish bouquet" and I wish I had told him that my niece's father is 100% Polish. The arrangement was EXQUISITE AND STUNNING. Everyone at the opening reception commented on how magical the flowers were and how much they added to the art show. Several said they had never seen such a lovely bouquet. Wow!! Amazing service. I needed a flower bouquet to surprise my regular customer's anniversary before they come to dine in tonight.
