Hanato was a dream to work with and exceeded our wildest expectations for all of our wedding arrangements! From the beginning, they were very receptive to our initial inquiry and gave us quick and thorough feedback on our inspiration photos and what they could provide. I finalized designs with Ivan, who made me feel very at ease, even though I was caught between several different design schemes. He listened and understood my goals, and ended up designing amazing, unique, and creative centerpieces and accompanying arrangements that stole the show. They have an amazing design team and really know what they are doing, and have access to a beautiful and wide array of flowers. And even though our wedding was in winter, they managed to source a gorgeous and exotic-feeling array. They are extremely fairly priced, flexible with orders, and are sure to deliver nothing short of spectacular. read more

We engaged Hanato to do the event florals for our July 2024 wedding at Greenpoint Loft and everything turned out beautifully. Ivan was easy to work with, listened to my requests, and prepared a deck for us with examples of arrangements, color palette, etc. which we really appreciated. The welcome and bar arrangements in particular were stunning and far larger and fuller than I'd expected. They really added something special to the space. read more

My husband and I don't know very much about flowers, so we were really intimidated by the idea of trying to figure out the flowers for our wedding. Ivan worked with us to figure out what we liked, patiently answered all of our silly questions, and came up with a proposal that had the exact look we wanted while staying within our budget. From our first conversation to set-up and break-down the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly. We're glad we found a florist that was so helpful and flexible, and the flowers at our wedding were exactly what we'd hoped for! read more

Extremely disappointed in arrangement I purchased. Very expensive, bouquet barely had 8 stems of flowers when asked for a fuller arrangement a half dead flower with pedals missing was added with some eucalyptuses, asked for a vase and they charged $15 for a small mason jar. Whole meager arrangement cost over $80 and it looked like I picked a few random flowers at Brooklyn Inlet Park. I understand flowers are very expensive but this "arrangement" I purchased was not worth it. read more

working with hanato for our wedding was a literal dream come true. their style, floral choice, and designs exceeded all expectations! asides from the absolutely breathtaking pieces, eugenie and ivan were so wonderful and easy to work with from start to finish (e.g., working on a short notice timeline, we even added a last minute boutonniere, payment/confirmation was simple and quick, very responsive over email). i didn't have to do or describe much and they fully understood the vision and delivered it gorgeously. i am beyond happy to have worked with them on our very special day. i only wish i had more occasions that required flowers! :) read more

Very cute store although it's small. The flower arrangements on display are simple but elegant and contemporary. I went in and ordered some flowers to bring to my friend's home warming party. Eugene who is one of the owners is very helpful and knowledgeable about the flowers. She asked me few questions about the occasion and the recipient. The arrangement is colorful and well balanced. My friend was very happy. They offer delivery service to Manhattan and Queens. I will surely order flowers from them again. read more

What is there to say about Hanato but "Wow!" It's no secret that Wiliamsburg has no shortage of flower shops, and I've visited a good many of them. Until I found Hanato, I was resigned to buying flowers on the brink of death or blowing half my week's budget on an arrangement I was only mildly impressed by. Hanato truly has blown me away. The flowers there are beautifully arranged and excellent quality. The owner is truly invested in everyone who walks in the door, and you feel like you are being cared for every step of the way. The arrangments are gorgeous and tailored for each customer's needs. I cannot recommend Hanato enough! read more

Gorgeous floral arrangements for my wedding. The team was amazing - I highly recommend their services to anyone and everyone!!

I used Hanato Floral Design for my wedding bouquet/boutonniere. I knew immediately when I walked in and started talking to the owner Eugenie about my vision that she knew exactly what I wanted. The shop is cozy and she only carries unique flowers, not your run-of-the-mill roses etc. She nailed the color scheme and my inspiration of wild, loose flowers, and incorporated exactly what I was looking for. Eugenie was also very easy to communicate with via text follow-up. The final products were gorgeous and I received many compliments. The flowers looked gorgeous in photos and I now have my bouquet drying in my apartment. I highly recommend her for any floral project! read more

The flowers we purchased were delivered ontime to the recipient but had to be left at the building's front desk because they weren't home. Eugenie was an absolute love to work with today. My daughter and son-in-law just had a baby. They were at a large hospital in Manhattan and I could not get flowers delivered to her room. So, I waited until they came home. I called and the angel, Eugenie, who is the owner, answered. She sent me pics of flowers she had on hand, then I chose, then she sent me a final pic of the arrangement for my approval before she charged me. The arrangement is spectacular. My daughter was thrilled to have flowers. These are hard times, but Eugenie came through! Whenever I want to send flowers to my little family in Brooklyn, I will call on her! read more
