They are easy to eat and handle. I came for the Bundaberg ginger beer, which I haven't seen anywhere but in Australia before. They are great in a whiskey mule. But today, today I experienced the ice cream. From Central Smith ice creamery. Have you heard of them, me neither. But don't doubt, they got great flavors and what is call "craft ice cream". The service is top notch. And they serve coffee too.

Although Sterling Junction area is new to me, I'm familiar with Bloor West and find this to be a great addition to the neighbourhood! Ethica is a fairly big space, much bigger than a lot of the independent coffee shops in the area. Very clean, very airy, family friendly, with lots of seating for socializing and tables to work from. The baristas were friendly and super easy to strike up an organic conversation. As a roaster with a huge selection of single-origin coffees, it was difficult to choose from, but the Ethiopian Flat White was great and I look forward to eventually trying the rest!

I've been seeing some good news around HotBlack Coffee but didn't quite know exactly where it was…read more I was out for a walk when I happened by the store and decided to pop in. It's actually so much more than a coffee place which was actually super confusing to me at first. Right when you enter to the left, there was a whole wall of wine bottles to choose from. There was a sommelier that was walking a few customers through their wine selection. In the middle section of the place there looked to be an espresso bar/bakery display case and some tables. I was waved over by some friendly employees. I didn't notice a menu straightaway so I told them I was on the hunt for coffee and they produced a menu for me. Now whenever I say coffee what I'm really looking for is a latte so I went with that. You are able to advise on the milk and sugar levels here since I was asked for my preferences. I just deferred to the employee to make their best recommendation. The latte which was about a tall size at Starbucks came out to $5.98. Wowza! A bit expensive. I have to say that it was hot and delicious however. I was also barehanding the cup and it seems to be insulated enough that I didn't need a sleeve to protect myself. Another thing they specialize in appears to be pizza as we saw they had a pizza menu and per some signage, looks like they do tastings on certain days. The tastings sound super intriguing so I'd love to be able to check that out one day.

One of my favorite flavors of Keurig k-cups was on sale by the case by a large percentage here in comparison to my normal spot, absolutely love all of the options they had for everything COFFEE. To go back to Rebecca for a second, very warm, bright and absolutely welcoming. asked me about my relationship with coffee, what i like in a cup of coffee, and what brought me in today. I love the section of both Bialetti makers and Aeropress section, Aeropress has been a game change in how I make coffee at home, is a life changing experience, and everyone who even dabbles in coffee should have one (it looks like it shouldn't work, but it's fantastic) I stocked up on so much coffee that I broke Rebecca's heart when they cashed me out, taking advantage of the sale, I won't be back for a bit, but I'm telling everyone about this place can't recommend this place enough, very very good

I have been here a few times and this time, actually stayed for a few hours to get some work done. Located in the industrial part of the Junction the space presents itself industrial but filled with warmths. When you walk in, you will see immediately a long coffee bar with various coffee machines for your pour overs, cappuchinos, espresso etc. At the far back, giant machines (roasting things perhaps), workspace for the techs (I think) and a beautiful graffiti art on the back wall. The main seating area comprises of high bar stools, a few desks area with sockets and roman theatre style steps with some tables that you can work from (also with sockets) or just chat away. There is a section in the shop that is a retain space with all the beans you can buy to go and various coffee related pieces.
