I did my research on Edmunds and Kelly Blue Book and factored in whatever minor damage the car had. I went to the dealer as I had seen similar cars on their lot which they were offering for almost as much as I paid originally. The associate told me that the car was worth $5000 less than I had read because it had minor repairs--even though they were fixed. I walked away. I then went to Simple Auto Group, which is a broker not a dealer. The associate inspected the car, took note of the damage and immediately offered me close to the estimate from Edmunds and Kelly.
