I was in the area waiting for a call from my service personnel and never received one. He said he called me twice and left a voicemail and assumed that I declined whatever tire work that needed to be done. But I never got the calls and never got the voicemail. Besides that, I drove home and the next morning, my car would not start. Called AAA and they had to come jump the battery. The battery cap was open, it was clearly drained during the service and clearly jumped by the dealership, but no one communicated that to me. Given that I drive a hybrid, and it was a short distance home, I never had the chance to charge up the battery. This led to a delay in going to work the next morning. Both experiences unfortunately led to an unpleasant impression and I am not sure who to reach out to for such concerns. I feel like customers should be communicated to when their battery is drained during service knowing that it's a hybrid vehicle.

With the X7, I didn't step foot into the dealership or even speak with the salesman. Sean handled everything and I couldn't be happier. From the initial build, to his opinion on which options were worth it to what options weren't worth it, his knowledge about the individual vehicles was incredible. I settled on 3 stars because I am satisfied with the car I ultimately purchased. I have purchased more than 50 vehicles over the years. I've also sold multiple cars on consignment that were ultimately sold over the Internet, so I know the process. I had never purchased a car over the Internet and, after this experience, I will never do so again. I erroneously assumed that a luxury car dealer with over 15 years in business would have in place a rigorous, detailed, well-documented inspection process before offering a car for sale. Their website boasts "We offer a level of customer service that is unparalleled in the industry". This review can't accurately convey the frustration and follow-up required to get to the finish line on this car. No individual issue taken on its own was important. But cumulatively they added up to a nebulous, tiresome, and frustrating process. I emailed the owner Lance, and sales manager Stu multiple times. The outcome might have been different if either of them replied. So, if you are willing to go through the process, you will probably, like I did, get a decent car at the end of the day, but the process is exhausting.
