Chocolate maple porter beer, surprisingly delish!
    Darrell L.

Tried their maple porter dark beer... delish and strong. Also ordered a dinner salad of greens with house made dressing... HUGE and delightful also. Sad no music until summer. Friend was a no show so I didn't want to order food. I was disappointed no music. But I'll be back. Great service.

We had a feeling this would be a good experience when we rolled up before noon on a Saturday and there were already 4-5 vehicles in the lot waiting for them to open. Great location with a number of high top tables, tables and a bar. Service was friendly! We started with pretzels which were excellent. They had a nice favor to them as they use some of the ingredients used in the brewing process. Beers were excellent! All brewed onsite. They even had wine for those who aren't big into beer. For a meal, we had a salad and pizza. Very good! If you do get a chance, walk over to the open kitchen area and check out their oven. It has a their logo tiled into it; nice touch. They have some great items to purchase as well; shirts, glasses, sweatshirts and cans of beers. Great spot to stop if you are in the area! Or worth the drive.

Awesome spot! We went skiing in Okemo and made a reservation about three weeks in advance to visit on a Saturday at 430pm. What a great time it was! Outer Limits has live music on Saturdays from 4pm - 7pm. Probably recommend getting a reservation because it was about a 2hr wait if you didn't have one! There are a few parking spots directly out front but there was plenty of free, adjacent street parking when we arrived. Wood-fired food was delicious. The Cajun wings are a must try, and at least one pizza. They have the classic Cheese, and then they had the Vermonster and a special for the day. You can also make your own. I would highly recommend stopping in when you're in the area because it was a blast, the food was reasonably priced, and the service was good, too.

Great place in Proctorsville VT . Beers are really good so do 6 selection of 5oz pours and pick your choice for a pint later. I loved the 3rd EyePA which is their milkshake IPA and a really fine bourbon barrel porter and whiskey barrel exsobeer as well . If you're in the Okemo mountain area , stop in have a brew and brick oven pizza too .

Want to hear about a cool place? Come here! Created by husband and wife duo, these two craft beers with actual flavor and reasonable ABV. Thank goodness not another IPA joint where everything is hoppy. They do a great job of balancing flavors and various types of beer for a more inclusive drinkers experience. They also have seltzers, wine, and soft drinks. They also have a brick oven pizza which hit the spot nicely. Another unique story is that the wife's dad is very much into outer space that he bought a meteor at an auction and had it shipped to him internationally. I think it's sweet they named the place and themed their outer space beers after their fathers passion.

Easy reservation for outdoor seating, but you can't quite get the full experience here. We arrived and were seated, to find out that you can't order flights or smaller pours outside, as it was pints only. Since this was my first visit, I had my eyes on numerous brews to sample, but that was off the table, so I decided on their Weizenbock (Sbock's Brain), a beefy brew at 8% and a style I truly love. It was average, sorry to say. My wife had their American Pale Ale (Ground Control) and also quite average when comparing to the other breweries in the region. After going inside to use the restroom, I can see why they don't allow flights outside, as it is quite the distance from inside the bar to outside seating with a couple flights of stairs too, so I wish I made a reservation for inside. They have a performer playing covers inside on this Sat. evening and the inside was fairly full, but not packed. Service was a huge home run and the pizzas were solid enough. Nothing to make me make the trip back if I'm being honest, but certainly glad we visited.

This brewery was right next to where we were staying and the second to last to visit. They open at 11am and closed at 8pm on the weekends. It's located on the second floor and has a lot of space. They have a cool wood pizza oven and fun table games. Great selection of craft beers and food. The only downside, they don't sell cans. The way to purchase is with your own grower or howler or purchase theirs. To bad because I would have picked up a 4 or 6 pack. I just didn't need another growler or howler in my collection. Don't forget the deposit fee.

Ask the Community - Outer Limits Brewing

    Is the brewery dog friendly?

They have indoor and outdoor seating. Contact the restaurant for the definitive answer, but from what I observed: inside no dogs, outside dogs on leashes. There is no area fenced for dogs to run around unleashed. https://www.outerlimitsbrewing.com

Yuck. But their single lager and single pilsner are always good/consistent. And they have one meddle/award that they are proudly showing off, and they should but guess what kind of beer it is? A Pilsner. Take the hint you don't need 17 easy to make no effort IPAs that all taste the same. Food seems like an afterthought here. It's consistently average. They make a decent pizza here, but it's always soggy. The outside crust typically is perfect, often with a light char which is nice, but underneath the cheese and sauce, which they to put too much of on and undercook it, you wind up with a soggy slice of pizza that tastes OK. I also had their poutine recently. I can live with the vegetarian turkey gravy, which tasted pretty good, cheese curds were OK but what's going on with these fries? Soggy, brown. Are they brown because they're fry oil is disgusting? Are they just cooking the crap out of these things. I can't imagine that's the case because they're not crispy at all and taste awful. Waiting and bar staff seem to be wonderful people- they're attentive, food comes out relatively quickly. Service is not rushed. Atmosphere in this place is pretty good though I would like to have the music turned up a little bit louder so it's just not background noise and so you can actually hear the lyrics or discern what song is being played. Music done right can be part of the experience. Right now it's just a soft rumble in the background and it just becomes an annoyance. There's literally been extensive research on music in your restaurant and bar and how loud it's supposed to be and the music selection. Why places like this pay absolutely no attention to that research is beyond me. MUSIC IS IMPORTANT! Treat it that way please. Ultimately, even though the food is averaged to below average, and I can't hear the music, we continue to come back here because of the beer . Imagine if they put the same effort into their menu...
