Our family stopped here for breakfast on our way back home after staying for a long weekend in Kill Devil Hills. I was looking for a healthy option and after reading some previous reviewers tips...I decided this was the place. A couple people in our group wanted the egg casserole but were told it's only made in the busy season...no problem though, they ordered Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwiches and said they were very good. My 8 year old ordered a Sand Dunes smoothie and the Fruits and Yogurt bowl...both very good. I opted for the Bloody Green and the Green Granola Bowl. It's been 4 hours since we ate and I'm still incredibly stuffed. The bowl is such a large portion and filled to the brim! My husband ordered a Reese's Cup espresso and an Egg, Cheese on a Bagel which he really enjoyed. The lunch options on the menu looked awesome too! This place is great! It's this little Cafe tucked inconspicuously in the middle of a strip mall, and online ordering is really convenient. I ordered the egg, bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich for my boyfriend, which he loved! I got a sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese, avocado, cucumber, and smoked salmon. It was dynamite! We each got a regular organic drip coffee, and those were delicious too. I also ordered the smoked salmon salad for later and I loved the combination of sweet, savory, crunchy, and tangy. Generous portion of spinach and a tomato sauce which gave a nice tang to the sandwich. It was so scrumptious!! The Turkish breakfast was good too...Was almost like a deconstructed sandwich. The highlight of the meal were the freshly squeezed juices. We had a beet ginger based and another with carrot and cayenne pepper. I loved the strong notes of ginger in my juice and the immunity with carrot had mild cayenne. Overall we left this place satiated and refreshed. My experience was just OK. I don't like the location of this place. It's just sort of in an unfortunate position. You'll see what i mean when you go. If you want healthy food, I suggest going to the store to get it. There's just nothing extra special here for the price. It's cute and hip, just not worth it I felt. This place is just fantastic. From the moment I walked in, the staff gave the warmest greeting and the aroma of fresh-baked challah filled the air. I got a spicy cayenne mimosa and the green granola bowl. Both were excellent. I regret not getting something on a challah loaf though. It smelled so good! Food was great and service was stellar. My husband and I went for a breakfazt sandwich. The younr lady behind the counter is either too frazled or has way too mych to do in such a small cafe. While she's working in the back, clients build up in the front. We waited for over 15 monutes just to order. then the sandwich that came out was incorrect. I waited until the line died down a bit before approaching the cashier. The attitude was cold, unresponsive and I don't care came out of her actions and face expressions. I advised I wanted my sandwich refunded. she said she would attend to me in a few mintues. My husband by now had finished his sandwich and we were ready to go. Another 10 minutes and another line for orders. We left without a refund and total dis tatse for youe customer service. there isn't any! No one is overseeing anyone and a young person minding your store front as she was can and will ruin your business. This was my first time there and I don't take it as coincidence. Our yogurt parfe was really pleasant with a nice portion of fresh fruit atop a lightly sweet plain yogurt, granola and a drizzle of honey. What an amazing place! I struggle to find decent vegan/vegetarian cuisine while on vacation, but not anymore. I just had the most INCREDIBLE vegan Turkish breakfast! We stopped here for lunch between the Wright Brothers' monument and mini golf and it was a perfect, refreshing lunch, ready quickly and reasonably priced. Their coffee selection was also delicious and fun--my dad got the Snickers Bar coffee and enjoyed it. Locals clearly frequent this place and we saw the lovely owner greet a few of them by name. We aren't vegan or vegetarian but I recommend the vegan and veggie wrap and panini options! Service was below sub par to say the lease waited over a hour for our food because she said she'd bring it out to our car due to "COVID" policy so after waiting forever I decided to call back and she said to come grab it from inside no big deal but until they don't want you in the store due to "COVID" so now I'm confused pissed and just want my breakfast I finally get it and leave hope still high for the food but that also matches their service I only got avocado on half my sandwich I guess you have to pay double extra for both half's and ive had better coffee from a gas station to say the lease. Wow. I was blown away by the amazingness of this restaurant. Everything I had was very good. The Berry Dream smoothie (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries) was excellent. It was sweet but also tangy. I also had the Veggie Sandwich. It had pretty much every vegetable on it you could think of, plus hummus. One of the best features of this sandwich was the squash. Sliced thinly, soft but crunchy, this squash made this sandwich ten times better. Long story short, if you are within 4 cities of Kitty Hawk, go here.
