I thought I'd give it another try today. My order is just coffee everyday but they can't get it right. Today was 2 cream 3 sugar. They continue to put this nasty pump liquid sugar in my coffee. Contrary to the poor reviews, I had a very pleasant experience. The place was busy, as it was a holiday. There was a line inside and at the drive thru. I anticipated waiting for a while. When I went inside, the donuts were fully stocked. The employee that took my order was very friendly despite how busy it was. Also the line went very quickly. They have a board that shows what order they're working on and I was amazed by how quickly they were getting orders out. I've been to Dunkins all over and have never seen that kind of turnover. I would have selected 0 stars had it been an option. I took a long walk this morning and happened upon Dunkin and decided a nice iced latte would make my walk back enjoyable. I ordered a large iced white chocolate mocha only to be asked, "is that a coffee". After replying I was then asked if I wanted sugar or cream which was a new question I had never heard before and in fear of the syrups not being sweet I opted for added sugar. The first sip of the straw I suckled in sugar granules and about choked. The coffee was never mixed so the syrup and sugar sat in the bottom of the cup. I had to wait until I returned home to drink my coffee so I could mix the contents well. So 20 minutes later I take the second sip of my coffee and it is just terrible. I should have known Dunkin was not the best coffee place but lesson learned. Let me move on the the 6pack of Donuts. I ordered a variety and figuring it is only 7:30am the donuts would be fresh. Wrong. I have only tried one, the jelly filled powder donut. I nearly choked on the dryness. There was less than a dime size filling inside and the remainder of the donut was dry and brittle. It actually tastes as if it had been frozen and thawed. Never again will I eat Dunkin. read more

I love DD, I do, but here's what I don't expect when I visit any DD: (1) a staple that isn't offered. This place offered no maple donuts (I'm not ordering something off-beat), (2) all the donuts were too wet (I.e. undercooked and overfrosted, and (3) the cashier helping me (older Caucasian female) was obviously not warm towards non-Caucasians- she was smiling, bubbly, and patient to the Causcasian female in front of me who ordered munchkins for her daughters birthday and couldn't decide what kind and how many. And then when it was my turn and I ordered munchkins, she didn't ask what assortment I wanted, just started tossing the munchkins aggressively into a box and when I asked if there was an option to choose for my little one (standing right next to me excited as can be to be getting donuts for breakfast), she angrily dumped everything back into trays and stared at me annoyed as I asked for the ones I wanted. Y'all I love Dunkin'. But this Dunkin' is eh. For the lines they get and how fast they move I will give them 3 stars because they are good at doing that. But the drink making. Cmon. Every time I get an iced coffee with some syrup they either never add it or they put like 10 spoonfuls of sugar where it sits at the bottom. It's gross. Iced coffee is the easiest drink to make and that's why It's annoying. There's instructions on how to make these drinks and everytime I come to this location it's different. ( I order the same drink everytime) I prefer Dunkin' over any other coffee and I wish y'all would take the time and make the drinks correctly. That's my only complaint. The people are pretty nice who work there and have good customer service it's just the whole point is to get a good drink. :( pls do better. read more

1. You can't go in the store. The door is locked. 2. You have to wait in a long line. 3. You have to constantly repeat what you want into the speaker. 3. They mess up your order and the line is too long to go back and have them correct the order. 4. I am sad to be writing a negative review about this Dunkin location as they have been relatively good to me over the years I have lived on the Outer Banks. However, I am recently considering finding a different location to frequent. This morning, I mobile ordered an iced latte as well as the snackin' bacon to get my day started. Upon receiving my order, that I had placed in the last five minutes, my bacon was already cold. I took it back inside only to be told that bacon is meant to be served cold! I took it out of the bag to show the girl on shift (who usually gives me trouble) that there were clumps of hardened grease all over the bacon. In response, she simply put my bacon in the microwave and returned it to me. While the management here has been relatively consistent over the years, the staff's reluctance to provide decent service has turned me off from this location. It only seems to be reliable for non-coffee drinks, as the coffee is usually not fresh, and the food is not either. read more

RUDE!!! Was in town for vacation, stopped here because it was near the house we rented. 1st time we went we ordered refreshers for the kids, the employee was nasty for lack of better words. The employee sounded annoyed I ordered a refresher and then instead of telling me they were out of certain flavors they immediately told me they didn't have refreshers. Turns out they did! 2nd time I went back I sat in front of the speaker waiting to order for 5 minutes while some D-bag in a red mustang was getting impatient with the wait and was inching his way up my bumper like it would speed things up?? When I decided to pull up to the window after not getting a response from the speaker system, they so rudely asked me to leave and go back in line and order at the speaker. This place. Smh. I made a u-turn to get donuts on my way to an appointment. There weren't a lot of cars in the drive-thru so I opted not to go in. The voice that came through to take my order seemed rather confused about my order and also stated he was having difficulty hearing me. It was a simple order...10 donut holes...7 powdered and 3 blueberry. How hard is that? Instead of telling me that he still couldn't hear me to get my order correct, he told me to pull forward and pay at the window. When I arrived at the window I handed him my debit card to pay for the goods. He held the card in his hand and stood there staring at me. I turned around and looked at him and he still was staring, not running my card or anything. So, I asked him what the price was. He told me and promptly rang me up. He handed me my card and a bag with the donut holes. I should have checked better before I left but I didn't want to be too late for my appointment. When I opened the bag, I thought he handed me a bag of trash accidentally. The napkins were literally crumpled up into a ball on top of the donuts. It was then that I noticed he had given me seven blueberry donut holes and three powdered donut holes. No big deal because I like them both but it wasn't what I ordered. However, as I began taking them out one by one I noticed that at least four looked like someone had taken good sized chunks and they were not whole holes. Seriously? The donuts my husband just brought home are disgusting. I mean I didn't have high expectations because it's Dunkin, but these tastes like they've been sitting out for a day or two. I get with the pandemic things need to be revised, but the options were minimal, and we didn't even get what we asked for on that small list to choose from. It is amazing how people can mess up the easier order. Maybe you shouldn't have a drive thru only if the workers cannot even follow a simple order. The order was correct on the screen, but when I got hone with my dozen, I had a few that were missing and some "surprise" donuts in it's place. Bravo for hiring illiterate people, but it isn't good for business. I will refrain from coming here in the future, the only reason I came here is because my kids don't like the cake donuts that the other stores sell. Lots of bad reviews for this location, but we had a great experience. We read that the drive thru was slow so we went inside. Given, it was slow but the staff was extremely nice and remade my drink. I'm from New York so initially I wanted to be an asshole but they were so sweet and explained that they are training new staff and have a new computer system. This Dunkin' Donuts always seems to have a very long drive-thru wait, but today was the worst. I ordered on the mobile app and when we arrived there were four cars ahead with a very slow moving line. When we got to the speaker we were told to wait, so we did. Five minutes passed and I told them I had a mobile order and we were told to continue to wait. Eventually I pulled through and there was NO ONE ahead of us. I pulled up to the window and the girl rudely said, "if we tell you to wait you need to wait. We are busy." The inside is not even open to the public? We had already waited well over 30 minutes for two cups of coffee. As a former employee of this place, I will say that the "manager" does not treat her employees like she should. She would yell and embarrass you in front of customers, tell you that you're not doing your job correctly, when she doesn't even bother to show you or spend time telling you how to do it. Whenever another employee would come in she would rush out of the door, the managers get frustrated and leave. One left us with no manager, for about 2 hours. The shift leader was still in training. She had no authority to do anything. She couldn't even get into a register to help the customers. read more

I don't know what it is but the chocolate donut holes did not taste good. There was something "off" about how it tasted. The glazed munchkins were meh... I also had the sour cream which was good. We arrived after 9am, wrong move. It was so packed the door was open while you waited to order. Heard locals saying its best to come before 8am. The girls who work there do not understand English very well (they were foreigners) so be sure to read the screen as to order to make sure they entered it correctly. One of them was yawning as I was ordering and repeated myself many times. The breakfast sandwiches and wraps we ordered were great. The coffee was good though the wrong size was given (ordered xl and got large)... I just do not recommend the munchkins donuts. read more

At first I thought it was my local DD in Florida that was bad. It seems they may all be bad. The two working had a very tough time with any questions. We ordered a tea which seemed like it was made with coffee instead of hot water. My espresso was luke warm after only waiting a minute or so to cool down. I usually don't make reviews but this dunkin deserves no stars if that was a choice. The people at the window have no idea what good customer service is at all. There manners are absolutely horrible. I've gotten coffee 3 different times from this location. The first time they gave me a French vanilla when I ordered caramel. Second time I ordered regular blend they gave me decaf and I get it today again and there was a inch of sugar sitting at the bottom of the cup and they didn't even fill it up all the way.
