We had a party of 4 for dinner in Lexington , Ky and the food was great. Steaks were cooked perfectly! The Gingerbread Cookie Martini was amazing! They give you a cute little Koala Bear with a Santa hat on w/ the drink. Nice touch! The service was fantastic. One of the best Outback Steakhouse's I've been to. read more

If it was possible to leave zero stars, I would. Trying this spot again after a prior bad experience. The irony of using a coupon from a prior bad experience and then receiving a refund for an even worse service experience is not lost on me. Appreciate the refund but would have much preferred a good service experience and hot (or at least warm) food. Will not tempt fate a third time since this is clearly a pattern of practice rather than just an off night. Highly recommend eating elsewhere. read more

I went to dinner at Outback in Hamburg Monday 6/29/26. The whole time I was there, I saw only one server. Darius was awesome! He was courteous, professional, respectful and very patience with his customers. Darius never slowed down or complained about anything. I say kudos to Darius and thank you for a job well done! read more

I had the lunch soup and salad, and the baked potato soup was so delicious and flavorful! I also tried the French onion soup, which was downright the best French onion soup that I have experienced! And I love the salads, perfect amount of toppings and the thousand island dressing is amazing! My server, Dora was awesome! The ambience was casual and it wasn't very crowded for a very late lunch. I forgot to mention the warm loaf of bread and creamy butter that tastes like my grandma is in the kitchen baking! read more

Service was exceptional. Food was delicious. Drinks on point. $10 take home deal was a nice little bonus. Absolutely recommend.

So this experience was interesting. I wanted to finish Shark Week with a bang and I found that Outback Steakhouse was serving drinks with sharks in them through a Facebook group (of course I had to check it out). I ended up ordering it curbside and I had thoughts on how they would do the drink since they could not serve it like they would at the bar. I ended up being surprised. They gave me the two sharks with the add ins that are supposed to represent blood (put them in the sharks and pour them out). They ended up putting the actual drink in an Outback Steakhouse mason jar (which I found to be pretty cool!). The only issue I had on this visit is that I placed the order for curbside and no one reached out, after I had called, to give me my order at my car. Instead, I went inside and had to ask and was pointed to the exit sign where the "To Go" orders are taken. My order was sitting in a paper bad with another individual's. My order also contained an alcoholic beverage and no one was there to check my ID before I left (I am over 21, however, this may be an issue if these have to be checked, legally, by KY law). read more

This placed was packed at 5:00 on a Saturday night. There was about a 30 minute wait. Most patrons were people from surrounding counties that come in off the interstate. I got the salmon and asked for it medium rare and it was over cooked and the mushroom and shrimp sauce was cold. It was definitely not worth the $25. read more

We had a fantastic server, restaurant was clean & my steak was cooked perfectly! I am picky about my steak & have found that Outback is generally a good choice. I love their blue cheese dressing, garden &/or wedge salads. Hubby had salmon & he too is picky, not liking salmon overdone. He orders it medium & it was perfect! He ops for ceased salad which he was pleased with his order. Definitely worth a stop read more

Great carry-out experience. Decided to try dining out again in the midst of Covid. Tonight's choice, Outback Steakhouse. I had a great experience there during a Yelp event a few months ago, so I wanted to try them again tonight. Tried ordering online, but the website had crashed due to overload (glad people are patronizing during this crazy time). Call in order was a smooth process, order taken by a friendly staff member. Once we arrived to pickup our order we were quickly greeted and asked our name. We were there less than 5 minutes before our food was delivered to the car hot & fresh. Once we got home everything was packed well, plenty of condiments and it tasted great. Definitely a 5 star experience tonight. Hope things get back to normal soon so we can dine in. read more

I took a party to Outback for a celebration on the Saturday before Mother's Day. It was busy but not too long to wait for a seat. We were seated with 10 minutes. Unfortunately we were seated in a tiny booth in the bar area. It was uncomfortable and tight fitting. Our server was pretty awesome, his name was DeShawn and he was friendly and explained the menu options to us. I asked for a Fosters Lager but they were OUT! That was disappointing. DeShawn recommended an option from Outback and even gave me a sample. It was really nice so I ordered one. The four of us wanted appetizers so we ordered two, they arrived and with the appetizers, small plates for the appetizers, the bread board and drinks- our small table was packed! When the entrees arrived we had two stacks of dishes on the table plus salads, entrees and drinks. It was uncomfortable and getting ever more crowded. The entrees were okay, the grilled chicken was small and dried out. One of my guests asked for a loaded baked potato but it was served it's only butter. The total bill for the entrees was $137, so about $34 per person. After gratuity the evening ran about $170. That's not outrageous but for the seating not being comfortable, the food was average the overall experience was lacking the celebratory feeling I had hoped for. There are several other restaurants within a short distance I would go to for my next night out. read more

They're not super super busy and the wait staff is overwhelmed. They need to either hire more staff or not overwhelm the ones they do have. This place is at maybe half capacity and it's hard to get service on a Saturday night. My parent steak was "meh" at best. All I ordered was a sweet potato. Got no brown sugar and literally a half stick of butter melted on this thing when I asked for no butter. read more

On veterans day I used call ahead seating at this location. I got there early and waited in car for a half an hour. When I go inside at my designated time they tell me I have to wait an hour just like I didn't have call ahead seating. They said my time starts when I get there and check in. Then I asked what is the point to call ahead seating and she said to bump me up. I asked from where since I have to wait like I didn't call ahead. All she said was "sorry for your inconvenience" no answer just that. This IS A POORLY MANAGED RESTAURANT!DO NOT GO! read more

We came in at the end of the night and they were short staffed. They let us know that and we opted to stay. Our waitress was definitely busy and things took a little longer get than normal. But our food came out and it was great. All of our steaks were perfectly cooked! And we'll seasoned. Loaded baked potatoes were fully loaded. We are all happy. read more

Normally, OS is a pretty safe bet. I'm just not sure what happened with our takeout. We were traveling from MI to GA and staying nearby. 1) food was ready 26 mins after the email said it would be. 2) ordered a child sirloin w/medium well temp and it was RARE. This was for a 5yr old. She doesn't like her cow with a heartbeat. 3) There were no loaded mashed potatoes available, so they subbed out three baked potatoes with all the fixin's (in GA we call this loaded), but there was only enough for two. Same with plastic ware, there was enough for 3/4 people. Two of us took turns with one fork. 4) The blooming fried chicken was, shall we say, extra crispy. Some might say 'blackened,' and the rest of us call this burnt. It was terrible. 5) The prime rib sandwich was dry. Like being 'stranded in the Mojave on your way to the Kill Bill Church' dry. Im sure Chuey's, Carrabba's or Wendy's would have been better. read more

Soooo I really wanted Texas Roadhouse but it was a 1.45 hour wait. That is just insane!! So it was only about 30 mins here. The food was pretty good! My steak was cooked perfectly! I also ordered the sautéed mushrooms but honestly they were weird tasting and looking and I didn't eat them. Also added on the coconut shrimp which I love. Yum yum! Service was superb! The also have a get in line option on their website. That helps save a few mins I think in waiting. A great experience! read more

I've been ill for over 6 months. We've ordered from Outback at least 2-3 times a week. We are generally satisfied with the service but they tend to forget items. The young runners are great! They are pleasant and very accommodating. Now it's not my number 1 Steakhouse but it's a respectable 2nd! It's normally very clean but we order take out right now. read more

First off, the service is very good here. I've never had a bad experience 5 stars for staffing. Food is over priced and terrible. I'm not going to waste too much time on this post. Let me just start by saying that I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 3 years now, and the experience my family and I had at this place was absolutely unacceptable. We made a reservation for a birthday dinner in our family, initially everything seemed to go well, they prepared our table and sat us quickly. Although for the next 15 minutes, multiple waiters and staff members walked past our table, making eye contact and didn't say a word. No one came and got us drinks or even acknowledged that we were there. Hard to believe that in a small dining room, a table of 7 people goes completely unnoticed. Like I said, I work in a restaurant and understand that under certain circumstances, it can be difficult to greet a table quickly, but 15 minutes or more is ridiculous. I myself, had to get the attention of the host who sat us to let her know that we had yet to be waited on. This is where it continued to go downhill, from the time I notified the host, it took an additional 5 to 10 minutes for someone to come to the table and announce themselves as our waiter. I won't say names, but the waitress was nice, and tried to seem interested in making our experience better but she ended up being very nervous, distracted, fidgety, and just seemed like she didn't want to do her job. At one point while she was taking our food order, she reached in her back pocket and checked her phone as one of us was directly telling her our order. The only good takeaways I have from this experience is that the food came out quickly after it was finally ordered and it was very good. Also one of the managers came to the table to apologize and even bought our appetizers. In the end, with my experience working in this industry, I know this situation is somewhat common in a lot of restaurants and it's due to improper training. Wait staff should know that if you see a table of guests sat for an extended period of time, even though they are not in your assigned section, make sure to greet them and notify them that someone will be with them shortly. Even just providing them with something to drink is a good cushion to not make them feel ignored or abandoned. Most people just simply walk out of a restaurant if they are not acknowledged within 10 minutes. We have to be better. I can confidently say, this would never happen in my workplace, and if it did, someone would deal with the consequences. read more

I had a fantastic meal there. I was alone so sat at the bar, and the staff there on 3/11/23 were fantastic. The meal was great, the salad was fantastic and my steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly. A great experience eating there and if in the area again would definitely stop in again! read more

I came in town for business this weekend and decided I wanted to treat myself for a nice glass of red wine and a fillet. I am so glad I stopped in to this outback steakhouse. My bartender, Carly, was outstanding. Super nice and very personable. She was definitely a seasoned veteran at her job and was working her tail off the entire time. She knew the menu and recommended anything and everything that I was actually hoping to have. The GM, Larry, also came over. What a great guy. We wound up having a little bit of a conversation and you can literally see his passion for not only the business but this particular location also. As for the food and drink, it was five stars all across the board. I had the Francis Coppola, Cabernet. I also had the fillet and the spicy mac & cheese. It was exceptional. I will most certainly be back to the specific location when I am back in town for business. Thank you guys again for making my out of town experience feel like home. read more

The first time I visited here was for an official Yelp event. Everyone felt like family and they treated us like royalty. The ambience was amazing. The evening began with a Sydney Boomerang Flight of 4 beer samples and all the 4 samples were amazing. The staff was amazing. They came and talked to us every 10-15 minutes explaining what each food items were and made us feel at home. Ribs, salmon, shrimp, cheese fries and lots of food items that definitely made my stomach full. My favorite is the Salmon. The flavor was spicy and savory. I will go back just for this. The dessert was one of a kind. So sweet and PERFECT! They had examples of each dishes set outside which was nice. A perfectly planned Yelp event. Heather did an amazing job. At the end, we were given hand-written thank you notes, which according to me is the best part. Also, we all got $20 gift cards which mades us leave the place with a smile read more

I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of Outback Steakhouse. We went to dinner here with a group of friends while in Lexington for B's brother's birthday, because this is what the birthday boy wanted. We had good service, and the restaurant is fine, but the food is just ok. Nothing was particularly bad, but it's not going to blow you away. Any of their appetizers are tasty in the way that greasy bar food can be tasty, but on this visit I wasn't too hungry, so I opted for a bowl of the Baked Potato Soup. The consistency wasn't great, it was a little congealed. Perhaps if it had been served hotter it could have been better, but even then I don't think I would have loved it. That said, I know plenty of people who love Outback, and that's great! Unfortunately, it's just not my favorite spot. read more

The Walkabout Wednesday deal is great! $10 for a 6oz sirloin or grilled chicken with one side and a soft drink/tea or domestic beer. I'd highly recommend trying the chicken if you typically get steak here. The spices on the chicken are perfect paired with the warm BBQ sauce served on the side. I sub out the typical fries or mixed veggies for a side salad. Their tangy tomato dressing is tasty. Last thing, don't forget to sign up for their rewards program. After three qualifying purchases of $20 you receive 50% off your next visit. This includes all of their concepts (Carrabba's, Bonefish and Flemming's). read more

The Wednesday night deal is the best! You can get a 6 oz. sirloin or chicken on the barbie along with a beer or soda for only $10! I'm definitely coming back on another Wednesday night. My steak was cooked perfectly so I was impressed with that as well. I also have also placed two online curbside orders and I definitely recommend trying this out. It was easy to place an order quickly without having to create a new account. You then just pull into one of the designated carry-out parking spaces and they will deliver to your car. You can pay online or in person so you choose based on your preference. Everything went smoothly with my first order but my second order took way too long. The time estimate was inaccurate on that order so that is my only complaint. Otherwise I only have good things to say. read more

I took my GF there last week. We sat at the bar. There was us and another couple sitting at the bar. The service was awful 2 bartenders working couldn't keep up. We had to ask for drinks. First we ordered fried mushrooms which were over cooked. Then we ordered Onion soup, it was all broth no onions at all. My GF had the NY strip and she was struggling to cut it.
