Sam our server/bar tender was attentive and engaging. There are three reasons why I did not give 5 stars: 1- the baked potato and was very under cooked. 2-the napkins used at the bar were just paper towels used in the restrooms. 3. There was what seemed to a gaggle of management trainees being trained, while the service suffered. The grey haired server with the glasses on her head was obvious in her justified frustration. So why did I give 4 stars?: Sam was a delight, the steaks were cooked as ordered and excellent quality. I ordered the Reef and Beef which I should have photographed. The scallops, shrimp and steak were presented very well and is a bargain when looking at the ingredients. My wife's filet was also very good.

Stopped here Black Friday after spending the whole day shopping. Got some apps to split, all fried things which was probably a mistake. They were pretty good but the Bloomin Onion was drenched in grease and oil, started making me feel sick. Our server was very attentive, almost too attentive. The restaurant was empty so it explains this but I felt like I couldn't breathe without them coming to check on us. Also when processing our credit cards, he stood over us and watched us put in the tip which made me uncomfortable and probably got him a better tip than I would've normally done. The restaurant was completely empty for a Friday night but we'll cleaned and maintained. Not dying to go back but probably will some day.

We had a slight wait about 10-15 minutes, but called while enroute and was able to be placed on waitlist. My old fashioned was smoked filled which gave it a different taste (kinda like a wood fire taste) which wasn't bad at all. Service was not the greatest. We waited for a very long time for our meals to come out. Our server said it was because they were short staffed in the back and it did seem like there were plenty of other tables waiting to receive there food. Asked for a medium and it came charred. I attempted to eat it but was only able to force two pieces of steak in my mouth before I just gave up. Since it took so long for our food to come out, I didn't want to have to send it back and wait however long to eat. (Plus I DO NOT send food back).

My family and I had a great birthday dinner for my son's 5th birthday here last night. Everything from the drinks to the apps to the entrees to the dessert was great. We especially loved the bloomin shrimp. The service was great and everyone was really friendly. The place was clean and the food all came out on time. My son loved his birthday dinner. Thank you!!

I went here for dinner on a Sunday afternoon with my fiancé. It was really good! It's been awhile since I've been to an Outback and I was really impressed with my experience. Our server was Taylor and she was excellent. I ordered the Grilled Chicken on the Barbie, with a side Caesar Salad and mashed potatoes. The food was amazing! The barbecue sauce they served along with the chicken was also very good. Between the food and service, I would definitely recommend coming here!

NEW Strawberry Salad $19. That's it, sad sad salad
    Jennifer M.

I let my husband pick where we would go for lunch. I didn't object because the last time I was here(my last review) it wasn't bad. Against my better judgment, I ordered a salad. First it was $19, I know that's the going rate, but this salad needs a little more for that price. The lettuce was terrible, tasted weird like it was precut bagged lettuce, and the arugula was bad, brown, yellow. There wasn't enough dressing, but by the time my waiter came back, I was almost finished. I should have sent it back, but I was starving and I didn't feel like waiting for another meal. The worst part, was the restroom. The smell was horrendous, and it was filthy. There was trash and toilet paper all over. It was like a dirty gas station toilet instead of a restaurant. It wasn't busy and plenty of staff standing around, but those disgusting bathrooms are the managers fault. For that reason alone I will never go back there.

This was only my second time at the Chop House (my first being about year ago for my wife's…read morebirthday) even though my wife's family are what you could call regulars. My wife again chose The Chop House for her birthday dinner celebration and for great reason! We came on her birthday, a Tuesday evening, for drinks and appetizers in the bar area. The gentleman working valet was very respectful and professional and while I can take or leave valet in most cases, he definitely added to the upscale experience of the entire night. Upon seating ourselves at a high-top, both bartenders on shift greeted us with huge smiles and very warm hello's. They are familiar faces to my wife's family and were genuinely happy to see us. Unfortunately, we learned my wife's family's favorite server, Debbie, recently retired but great for her! The bartenders were fabulous themselves. Service, personability, mixology skills were all top-notch. They fit the sophisticated vibe of the restaurant perfectly. We started with drinks of course! A Stoli Elit Martini with a twist, a Dirty Martini, an Apple Butter Old Fashioned, and a Tito's and Club. The drinks came out beautifully. Smooth, chilled. I ordered the Apple Butter Old Fashioned as I was intrigued, but skeptical. While I thought it was good, I'd prefer a regular or Smoked Old Fashioned to the Apple Butter. My wife loved it though. We ordered lots of food to split and each appetizer we picked was as good if not better than the next. The Tuna Nachos fresh and had a tropical, savory flavor with pineapple mixed in. The Kona Tips were tender, full of flavor coming from the Kona crust and sautéed mushrooms/onions, and were served in a skillet full of sauce perfect for soaking up with bread. I actually liked the Kona Tips appetizer more than I liked the Kona Crust I got on my NY Strip I ordered last year (the Strip was great I'd just prefer no Kona crust on the entree). The Flatbread De Jour was a Kona Tip flatbread, which you may call us crazy for ordering two Kona Tip inspired appetizers, but the Kona Tips are just that good. The Oysters we had were small (just how I like them) and were up there with the best Oysters I've had. We finished up with Fried Calamari. They were lightly battered, fried nicely, tender, and served over a bed of different hot peppers (when I say hot, I mean it!). Everything was delicious and there wasn't one appetizer we chose that I wouldn't order again or recommend to others. We did order a few more drinks throughout the night -- another Elit Martini and a Hendrix Martini with the appetizers and then Bailey's on the rocks and Frangelico on the rocks as after dinner, dessert drinks. We ordered a Brownie Sundae for the table for my wife's birthday while she was excused from the table and the bartender brought it out with a lit candle. The bartender also brought out a complementary miniature Crème Brûlée for my wife as she acknowledged The Chop House's Crème Brûlée as one of her favorites earlier in the night when we were talking about the menu. I thought the entire night went as good as you could have hoped. Valet, bar service, food, drinks, desserts, atmosphere. Everything was amazing and most importantly my wife had a great birthday. This is two years in a row we celebrated her birthday at The Chop House and I wouldn't mind seeing this turn into her birthday tradition.

He checked on us through out our meal to ensure we were enjoying our meal. We had the calamari and dozen raw oysters which were both fresh and delicious. We had the Chophouse steak experience which worked out perfectly for our table of four and actually could've feed 5 easily. It consisted of 4 cuts of steaks and my favorites were the filet and ribeye. They were seasoned perfectly and grilled medium rare. Our sides were mashed potatoes, CH hash browns, and grilled asparagus. The weakest link was the asparagus which were small in size but still tasty. I will definitely be back based on service, food and value. This is a perfect restaurant for celebrations, dates and casual dining. Definitely a gem of a restaurant. Will be back sooner than later.

This is the return of the original Chubby's that longtime locals remember from nearby (1933 by Joseph "Chubby" Stafford), and it absolutely lives up to the legacy. The food is classic steakhouse done right--excellent cuts, cooked perfectly, with that old-school steakhouse flavor you just don't find everywhere anymore. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered. Service was outstanding as well: attentive, friendly, and professional without being overbearing. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they're doing, which really elevates the whole experience. If you were a fan of the original Chubby's, you'll feel right at home. And if you're new, this is easily one of the better steakhouses in the area. Welcome back, Chubby's--you were missed.

Very busy house on a Saturday night and oddly but graciously quieter than many steakhouse environs. Service is good, as should be expected with this type of "pricier" option. Plates for "finished" diners cleared before all diners were through, which is understandable but not practiced in some higher end places. Steaks are truly cooked to requested temperatures, medium, medium rare, perfect and not as common as portrayed. The octopus appetizer is really well done. The halibut special was presented nicely and was delicate and flavorful all at once. Our server apparently makes the cappuccino herself and was quite proud of her skill and was really a nice touch.

Group event, went as part of a holiday party and the food, service and wine were all on point. This was a long happy hour not sit down so I cannot attest to a large group sit down dinner. Lastly dining in the main dining room, 6 people, Saturday night. Service was thin, read, our server was busy with a large group in the back and the neglect was evident. Now this doesn't mean the rest of the restaurant crew couldn't step in but really didn't. We were graced with a water refill once over the course of the dinner, although the friendly server who did pour the water said she walks around to fill water, she was never seen again. Our entrees were brought by a group of servers who disappeared after placement of the plates. So it would appear people were working they just seemed to ignore our table. Food was great, I wouldn't have gone if I didn't think the food was on par, but spending this kind of money you want a balance of service and food. You can see the accumulation of glasses that went on removed between wines. Now happy hour is discounted and you are at the bar so you get front and center service. Standing in the group room you are able to flag a server, sitting in the middle of the dining area and being largely ignored just rubs you the wrong way. I had two people ask why are you going to Flemings when I told them our plans. A competing steak house at the Cherry Hill Mall, we have attended many, many times without fail. You don't know how good you have it until you go someplace else and realize service is a lost art at some places. I am posting more for public service announcement, i would hope management reviews and tries to address this rather large service gap. I have never had this issue at the capital Grill, so it is disappointing to encounter it here, particularly when the food was on point.

It took me putting my jacket on (& 20 extra mins) to get Lawrence's attention. Also, it was close to the end of the night as we were wrapping up - maybe 9:30ish. There were still PLENTY of guests eating dinner, and the workers started breaking down tables in our section, moving things around, replacing large tables for smaller ones, etc. We're trying to have a nice (expensive!) dinner & workers are cleaning up around us. What a buzz kill. Remember I was the one trying to GET my servers attention - trust me we didn't overstay. Honestly, eh - I wouldn't recommend.
