Even the elusive under age 3 group is well represented. There were a lot of toys from the Ukraine boasting ecofriendly sustainable sources wood. Old school wooden toys are cool. It's been awhile since I put quarters in a game. I got to play Dig Dug which I have not played in twenty years. I really miss the arcades of my childhood and this really brought back some feely good memories. The prices were reasonable for a speciality type toy store. They shared a paper flyer with us with all the amazing things they have going on with their store and in the community. I found a few books and they were so helpful with directing us in the store with where things were. We felt very welcomed there and it seemed like such a vibrant safe and inclusive space for all. There was also a children's section to explore besides the main part of the shop that was busting with interesting stuff at affordable prices. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Their passion for the shop glowed and they had time to chat with us. There's street parking and close to walking distance of other shops and restaurants. They a Halloween display out. The inside is on the smaller side but they pack in a lot of different books and toys/activity items. They have a nice clean bathroom with a great diaper changing setup. There is comfy seating for the little ones so they can enjoy browsing through books or reading. You can easily spend an hour just inside here between all the book browsing, reading, exploring all the toys. They seem to be very community focused- there is even a community toy exchange bin out front! There are also some tables and seating outside in front of the store to enjoy nice weather. I would highly recommend a visit here with your little one paired with a visit to Stella's across the street for a coffee/beverage!
