The rice was not the usual rice used in other donair places as they were a bit mushy like Chinese rice which were overly wet. I did not like that. The chicken was nice especially the char grilled bits. Good to know there is a donair place in Joyce area though.

I ordered the beef plate, and every bite was packed with bold, rich flavor. Google told me donair was "like gyro meat" -- but honestly, this was way better. The seasoning, the tenderness, the taste... next level! The service was fantastic too -- super friendly and helpful. They took the time to walk me through the menu and offer suggestions since it was my first time. You can tell they care about what they do and want people to enjoy it. This is very comforting food. Rice platters for me and donairs for him - we're both satisfied and always left happy. No picture of the donair because I battle a hangry person and they don't always photograph the best - but trust me: they are good!! We also tried the baklava and it was good! Flaky and a nice honey flavour - I am no connoisseur for that but at the end of the day I am team savoury over sweet so it wasn't my favourite but don't let that deter you from trying it if it is up your alley. Nice owners and decent pricing for portion. they have a small seating area to devour your food as well.

Around 12 something for a platter. These days it's up to 15-17. I expected less quantity but they give big portions. The lady serving me was very detailed oriented, slowly stacking the salad making sure pieces dont fall over. The hummus was in a small plastic container that is put into one section of the platter plate. It'd be less waste if they just plopped on the hummus like other places. They give plenty of meat to cover the rice. I asked for extra garlic sauce and they were happy to give it. The chicken was nice. Not dry. The lamb however was soggy like it was steamed too long after shaving the pieces. The rice was also disappointing and was way overcooked and soggy. I think they could be a really great place if they can fix the sogginess of the rice and lamb.

I've never tried their pizza, but if it's at least half as good as their Indian dishes, then it must be amazing. I've been coming here since before Covid, and I've never been disappointed by their food. Furthermore, the interactions with the owner and other staff members have always been very pleasant. While they may not be the closest Indian cuisine store to my place, I come here every time I crave a delicious Indian meal.

I am curious if pizza are not good anymore because school has started or if the pizza chef change... it was a guy in the summer...and I even tipped him 20% on my takeout pizza and curry order instead of buying pop and drinks for myself when I was thirsty because it was yummy and I was feeling generous. Modern tragic food stories --- food prices go up but the portions sizes go down...as shown, pizza in photo lacked cheese and mushroom toppings plus it was more expensive than summer time and too salty to finish. ... I chose to drive out here because it has a local neighborhood feel but to my dismay, the bake on the spot pizza did not deliver and not worth the drive. I could only eat one pizza slice coz wayyy toooo salty and the limited mushrooms toppings didn't help. oh how I wish pizza was not disappointing :-( Writing this review coz I need to learn my pizza lesson and remind myself to stay away from their pizza on my google app. Sigh to owners: it's already my third time buying your pizza this month and disappointed each time...sorry!

With flavours like tandoori, lemon pepper, and major hot... it was difficult to decide which flavours I would try in my four piece meal. I ultimately chose the original flavour to get a sense of what the chicken tastes like and a couple pieces of tandoori, cuz I friggin' love tandoori. The chicken itself was moist and flavourful. The pieces weren't very big, but acceptable in size. The original batter was crunchy, but definitely could use something else to make it better. That's where the dry rub of tandoori seasoning came in. The mix of spices went really well with the crunch of the batter and juicy chicken. Conclusion? You don't have to go with the big chains for some decent fried chicken in Surrey. Major Joy is a legit option and I'm going to have to try their butter chicken poutine and chicken sandwiches next time!
