We got the Crispy Chick'n and the Veg Out Classic burgers and while the veg burger was good, the "chicken" burger was out of this world! Can't wait to be back to try out more of their menu!

I was so excited to try Jamaican food again but this place was disappointing in every way. The…read morecashier was unenthusiastic and rude. I asked her which dish was the most popular and she shrugged. She mumbled when she spoke so I had to keep asking her to repeat herself and she did not like that. #3 jerk chicken rice bowl: I chose this because the description said this was one of their most popular dishes. The Jamaican style rice was soggy. The boneless, skinless chicken was so dry but it was drenched in sauce and was so salty. It ate a few bites and threw it away. That was a waste of $15.68.

We decided to check it out... staff at the counter were very friendly. We decided on the Beef Patty... it was piping hot! The pastry is definitely homemade, slightly doughy & crunchy, the beef filling has a kick to it. I went back to let them know how much we enjoyed the patty. They told me the patty is made with their recipe, I can called his uncle & order them frozen & pick it up from their store... $5 a patty. Can't get any better than that. They told us they have another location in Guildford that serves oxtail stew ( that's my favourite). Will definitely check out the Surrey location too. I checked their goggle reviews 4.5/5

Around 12 something for a platter. These days it's up to 15-17. I expected less quantity but they give big portions. The lady serving me was very detailed oriented, slowly stacking the salad making sure pieces dont fall over. The hummus was in a small plastic container that is put into one section of the platter plate. It'd be less waste if they just plopped on the hummus like other places. They give plenty of meat to cover the rice. I asked for extra garlic sauce and they were happy to give it. The chicken was nice. Not dry. The lamb however was soggy like it was steamed too long after shaving the pieces. The rice was also disappointing and was way overcooked and soggy. I think they could be a really great place if they can fix the sogginess of the rice and lamb.

Depending on the day, you might get a good sized rack of juicy ribs or you might get a small, dried up chewy rack of ribs. Beef brisket is a total failure these days. Tough, poor quality meat, barely any smoke, and feels like tough roast beef instead of slow smoked brisket. Mac n cheese is yet another failure. Barely any better than KD. Forget the cornbread too. Forget the ambiance as there is none. Forget the service, there is also none at all. What was once, if only occasionally, brilliant is now consistently awful.

We decided to give them a try since their menu items looked pretty interesting. We ordered the "Not Routine Poutine" (baked potato, potato wedges, topped with poutine gravy and some curds) and "My Thai Tater" (baked potato, chicken, rice, peppers, spices). The baked potatoes were soft but not mushy, which made it easy to scoop out and eat. The poutine would've been slightly better if it had more curds. But overall, both baked potatoes were really delicious and flavourful! I also tried a small sample of their "Sea Ya Later Tater" seafood baked potato. The topping was creamy and tasted like clam chowder. Looking forward to seeing this food truck at other events so I can try their other menu items next time!
