This place is amazing! Great coffee shop with amazing avocado toast! I've been hooked ever since I first tried it.

This is a small coffee shop with an amazing menu. Everything we ordered was delicious and service was quick!

A nonprofit coffee shop with homey vibes. I came across this cute cafe unexpectedly and everything was good. I ordered their breakfast special which is a burrito with eggs, bacon, jalapeño, cilantro and salsa and to finish off, I ordered a guava and cheese pastry. I was skeptical about it because I didn't want to have it cold but luckily the owner warmed it up. It was definitely what I wanted, something sweet but light. The frames and artwork inside were inspiring and the food was good. I especially liked that they stood for a cause. What's not to like? I recommend checking them out. read more

Consistently delicious. Today I got the breakfast croissant and a twisted chocolate croissant. I love that this is a nonprofit place helping those with disabilities. Unfortunately I've only had time to do takeout but the atmosphere is super peaceful! I look forward to trying other things from the menu. I definitely recommend checking it out! read more

I love this place! Everything is so yummy and I love how no fuss it is. It's a local little joint and the neighborhood seems to love it as well. They have a few pre-made baked goods that are always super delish especially the almond croissants! Ooooh!! The specials are always outstanding, my fave is anything with garlic butter. My mouth waters. The avocado toast is delicious as well. My favorite coffee is the Iced latte with a little sugar and a little cinnamon. I just love how easy and friendly this place is. Never a huge wait and the staff is just so nice and friendly. I keep promoting it to all my friends. It's a little hidden but worth the search. Plenty of parking and nice outdoor seating however it is small. Definitely check it out if you are in the area! read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Our Grounds, another coffee gem in our neighborhood. They're few and far between, so I absolutely appreciate this place for the mere sake of being another option that isn't Starbucks. But where this place really shines is its philosophy and reason for being: helping people with disabilities lead as normal a life as possible, and giving them opportunities to share their joy and zest for life with the rest of us. The coffee was good. I went an hour before closing on a Sunday so the pastry options were slim. I'm going to need to go back in the morning to get a true representation of everything they offer, because the pictures I've seen have left me wanting! Love the coffee. Love the reason. I hope this place sticks around. read more

The BEST coffee shop in Kendall. Excellent prices for the quality and best of all its a non profit that employs people with special needs. Finally a shop you can feel good about visiting. The coffee is some of the best I've ever had and they have incredible seasonal flavors and pastries. You can feel confident when buying a coffee here knowing the proceeds go to a good cause. They are quick and incredibly kind. My favorite local coffee place. And I've tried them all. read more

Our Grounds is a GEM of a place. Not only do they strive to be an inclusive workplace and focus on ABILITIES not disabilities as a non-profit, but they also serve up delicious drinks to get your day going. In addition to their great cause and drinks, the menu is *chefs kiss*! I've tried a few different things because it's now one of my favorite places to grab a bite from and nothing has disappointed. The staff is always friendly and the ambiance at Our Grounds is so peaceful and relaxing. If you find yourself in Kendall, make sure to stop by and try it yourself...& don't forget it's going to a great cause! read more

Our Grounds is our little local gem to enjoy family breakfast on Sundays. Starting with great fast service, matched with cosmic coffee , baked goods and an assortment of breakfast sandwiches and bagels. My go to is the Cortado along with an egg croissant or berry bagel. The berry bagel comes with cream cheese and fresh berrys in a berry syrup on top, so delicious. The wife goes with an Iced Latte and Lox and always has to get a slice of the Banana bread. I've seen and tasted much of the menu, you really can't go wrong with anything offered. read more

So cute and yummy!! Everyone is also very helpful. The business was created for a great cause

I've been here twice and I honestly love this little place. It's very cute. Nicely decorated. It makes you feel at home. The staff is normally very kind and welcoming but my first encounter experience was not so great as the woman behind the counter seemed over it and wasn't very welcoming. I decided to come back because the coffee is honestly very good. the second time I ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich and it was good, but the egg was not fully cooked. it was upsetting because i wanted well done scrambled egg in my sandwich. i only ordered it for baby, which she honestly didn't mind, but now i know to ask for specifications when i come and order something again. p.s (the croissant was also slightly burnt). I had the iced caramel latte the second time. I don't remember what I ordered the first time as this was months ago, but the Iced caramel latte was great. They have strong coffee so you can really pick it up after a small cup of it. I'll be coming back to try other items. read more

Such a great coffee shop with an amazing cause. It's a nonprofit coffee shop with the mission to train and employ adults with special needs. I've come here twice, each time I go for the nitro cold brew, it's my go-to coffee choice since I love a nice strong kick of caffeine to jolt me up! I also had their almond croissants today which were deliciousssss, pairs great with a cup of coffee. It feels really great knowing my money is going to a beautiful cause. The person that has helped me when I've gone is nice and friendly. The inside is really cute, would be great for studying once these COVID times are behind us. I totally recommend it. read more

aesthetics: a "hidden gem" coffee shop, because it's buried in the center of a community of houses; not too far off from the main road of 104th st. real plants & has this vintage look of the humble beginnings of a cinderella movie - in the most elegant way. music playing, not too loud & not too soft either. customer service: only a short encounter, got my order & served pretty quickly. food: got the last of a banana bread loaf, to which i actually like cause of the outside crust accompanied with the fluffy center made it that much more full of texture. to my surprise they have added chocolate chips to the banana bread, so it was nice extra treat. conclusion: would definitely come here again & feel the vibe out a bit more. read more

First to say everything was overpriced and when my cappuccino came out it was COLD. Not worth 5 dollars and it wasn't anything special. The ambiance was nice, but that's all I can say about the place. Service was decent. read more

Came in here for Coffee on a Sunday afternoon and I was impressed. Not just by the coffee but the hospitality of the workers. Probably the nicest baristas I have ever come across in a long time. Once people realize this charming little coffee shop exists in the middle of a quaint community, customers will start to line up. The owner, Vanessa, does one heck of a job transforming her vision into reality and she does it with love and passion. This right here is a gold mine. This review was a lot longer as I was elaborating on a lot of things but in all honesty, I think people should just come in and learn about the story of this business first hand. I promise you will be blown away when you walk in. read more
