I stopped by Dolce Venezia just a little while ago, and honestly, my experience was very different from some of the reviews I had read. The employee working there was a friendly and welcoming gentleman (not the woman mentioned in some older reviews). He was very patient, offered great service, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The shop was also clean and well maintained. We ordered two extra-large cups for $11.50 each, which I thought was a fair price for the quality and portion size. The tip wasn't included, and I was happy to leave one because he truly deserved it. Maybe the shop is under new management, but whatever has changed, it's working. I tried Sicilian Pistachio, Vanilla Bean, and Tiramisu, while my wife chose Mango, Italian Espresso, and Caribbean Coconut. Every flavor we sampled was delicious, creamy, and full of flavor. The Sicilian Pistachio and Italian Espresso were our favorites, but we honestly enjoyed all six flavors. This place deserves much better reviews than some of the older ones suggest. We had a great experience and will definitely be back to try even more flavors. Highly recommended if you're looking for authentic, delicious gelato with friendly service! read more

I came in. It was dead. No one around. A lady came up to me, not so pleasant. I wanted 2 scoops of 2 different flavors so I had to get the cup that was $8.99. I have been to many gelato stores. This lady gave me the smallest scoops. She barely tried to make it smooth and look nice. I still went ahead and paid. She definitely over changed me too because it was over the regular tax amount plus the $8.99 price. The Gelato was okay, I have had better. Will not be going back again. I see why no one else was there. Too expensive and they don't give you enough. read more

For being expensive ice cream, the service should be better. They never answer phones. I came at 5:17 PM on a Monday, the sign says open, there's ice cream out, and the door is locked. No one is answering or picking up the phone. They need to lower their prices because they're overpricing their products and can't even provide good / reliable service. It makes no sense for it to say open and have ice cream out, yet the door is locked. I waited outside for 25 min and no one showed up. read more

Glad to be supporting local businesses during this time. They have plenty of flavors, and I love the chocolate/nut/creamy varieties more, as they are very smooth and creamy. The fruits are good, but I prefer a more intense fruitiness. The shop is located in the big plaza on Kendall and 137th, on one of those "islands" closer to the Kendall Drive. Love their cute little nutella display by the register! read more

The lady that works here is extremely rude and unprofessional. She has such a nasty attitude. Definitely she should not be working with customers. I will never again come just because of her. read more

Tried this Italian gelato spot and was pretty disappointed. The flavors sounded great but didn't have that fresh, creamy taste you expect from authentic gelato -- more icy than smooth. Portions were small, and for the price, it just didn't feel worth it. read more

Horrible place. This is the second time I've gone to this gelato and it is always closed even though it says open on their website. They have an employee there but the door is locked and they won't open the door for you. They never answer the phone. This is so disrespectful to customers. Please update your website with the correct hours or just say that you are permanently closed. read more

Great to find a Gelato shop nearby! We were craving Run Raising and Dark Chocolate Gelato and Dolce Venezia fulfilled our craving. My favorite was the Dark Chocolate flavor. They do have a wide variety of flavors and offer cup options, cones, and waffle cups. We also tried the Rum Raisin flavor ( it tasted good but was too sweet for my liking) and also the Mango flavor ( this was good and a bit sweeter than usual). The shop is a bit small, however, they offer outdoor seating as well. As to the service, it was good enough to get in and out without any complaints. I definitely recommend this establishment and it is a good runner up to my all time favorite "Freddo Gelato". read more

At last! A much awaited and needed Gelateria is here...Kendall has a brand new Gelato and Sorbetto Shop! Located in the Kendale Lakes Plaza just right off Kendall drive and 137, in a small but cute little corner, the friendly shop does not dissapoint. The Place is colorfull and the Gelato Flavor's are beautifully displayed like the Authentic Italian Gelato Stores. I had a small cup of the strawberry cheesecake, it was delicious and the portion satisfying. They also sell popsicles for kids, mini desserts, and coffee. I will be returning very very soon to try the Sorbets. read more

Authentic Italian Gelato, friendly service, and clean interior. This is a nice little place; if I'm in this area. I'd go here for Gelato, but if I had my pick between here and Doral, I'd go to "Made in Italy" over coming here, just for the closer authenticity (neither are 100%). Here they server Nestlé, but at "Made in Italy" they serve Lavazza, which is authentic Italian coffee. Either way, other than arguments about authenticity, this place is a real gem and I recommend checking it out. Great place to enjoy a cold treat if you are lactose intolerant! read more

I went with my daughter for a quick ice cream break and it was definitely a great idea to come to this place: It was close by my house Great and ample parking lot A neat place Indoor and outdoor seating area And we had a delicious ice cream. The flavors my daughter chose where tiramisu and coffee. We loved the flavors very much, it was creamy and the texture and taste were on point. I'm kind of confused about the rating for this place. The service wasn't great. It was pretty pricey. And the gelato was melty. The flavors were just okay. I wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

FINALLY! Some quality gelato in the Kendall area! This is definitely top tier gelato and I loved the variety of flavors. Dolce Venezia is an ice cream shop ( Italian Gelato )with a wide range of flavors and colors where you will get from the tropical as passion fruit and mango to the creamiest and most delicious as Nutella and Ferrero Rocher. The desserts are really very good especially passion fruit. I recommend this place to enjoy with children and family especially in this summer of MIAMI. Walked in and the worker or owner was on the phone, we waited for over 5 min while she conversed, by the time she came back and I analyzed that a small cup of ice cream for kids was $8.99, we were like by Felicia! I don't get it, I thought they'd be happy to have customers after Covid... I guess they didn't want our business. read more

Decided to try Dolce's gelato and it was just okay. I've had much better in The Grove and around town. I tried the coconut, passion fruit, hazelnut crunch and pistachio. Coconut was good, passion fruit was typical, a little strong (expected). Hazelnut was just okay. The pistachio didn't taste like pistachio at all. I can't even explain the taste. Maybe cookie crumbs. Since pistachio is my go to flavor I gave it 3 stars for the other flavors. read more
