Poor employee attitude will keep me from returning- showed up at 4:20 pm to pick up a coat. Lights are on- sign says open but door is locked. I knocked- maybe someone is in the back or restroom? I even tried calling their phone- no one answered. A gent waiting in his car tells me that the worker often leave to get food- I am thinking why not put a BRB sign or something to let clients know... I wait in my car but debate leaving because I have something to do at 5:30... Male worker returns with his bag of food. Gentleman in car gets out and joins me in business. He says to the younger guy- "about 300 people came while you were gone"-joking but serious? Priceless reply: I don't care- I gotta eat. Wtf? I wanted to put in my 2 cents as I don't understand some of the negative reviews posted here. I like the idea of Yelp being the place for everyone who seek balanced, unbiased opinions. Our Cleaners has been my 'go-to' dry cleaner ever since I moved to uptown Whittier 10 years ago. They take care of all my dry cleaning and alteration needs. Prices are reasonable. Sure, I believe I can drive half an hour to the nearest Nordstrom Rack and have some alterations done for free (membership rewards). But why spend the time, gas money, and wear and tear on my car, when Our Cleaners can do a good job inexpensively and is within a walking distance. One time the guy even fixed a loose seam on a dress right on the spot, just because it was an easy fix, I am a regular there and he had the time. Nordstrom Rack would have taken a week. Regarding the door being locked occasionally - I've observed this too and I am okay with it, as it seems like there is just one man working the counter most of the time. read more

I been coming here for years, my parents come here and my aunts the handsome man who works there is so nice, friendly and i seen him go out of his way for ppl and those bad reviews are from stupid ppl who don't read sign if u bring ur clothes in my 10am. I have been coming to this place for over 13 years now. Mike has been there since day one and is still there. fast friendly service every time. the place has been relocated once but it was only one block down so it wasnt any major change. i am usually not an "on time" person but no matter what, Mike is there to laugh it off and still get my clothes back to me on time. i also have a friend with a grandma in a retirement home not too far away and Mike delivers to them!!! wow, now thats service. I have been to this location two times before to get jeans taken in. They did a great job, and saved me lots of money buying new jeans. But this last time I could not believe the poor quality work. My jeans looked so bad. Taking them back to get fixed. read more

I used to bring all my dry-cleaning here and loved the pricing and the service. The guy even told me if the door was locked that he was probably there and to just knock. I did this once, because I was kind of in a hurry and he had assured me he was fine with it if I needed something. Anyway, the one time I actually did knock, he opened the door and took-in the stuff I needed cleaned. But he was rude, then when someone else came in after me, (he left the door standing open), he even commented about how he was annoyed and made it seem like it was my fault. Anyway, I left it alone, thinking maybe he was just having a bad day, but upon my return to pick up my stuff, he was rather rude again. I have not been back since. Based on the other reviews, I see I am not the only one who has encountered this side of the guy. It's a bummer because it was super conveniently located to where I need to be a 2-3 times a week. read more

Although the service is great and most importantly near to my house the hours of operation don't seem to work for a person who has same working hours. 8-5. By the time they open i have to be in the office and by the time I get in the area its closed. Which has resulted in me being a patron elsewhere. read more
