Poor work and horrible customer service! I dropped off my coat March 6th and took a picture to see if the stains were actually cleaned off. Majority were still there and so was this cut on my coat. Never received notice that it was ready for pick up I finally called after over a week and no notice from the business which I found unusual. When pointing out the tear and showing proof of no prior damage all she did was proceed to start speaking loudly and telling me she was not responsible even though there are numerous blades on her counter. I have been a customer for a few years and had never had a bad experience with them. Unfortunately the new owners don't share the same customer values as the previous owners. I needed three patches placed on a letterman jacket. We asked if this was something they're familiar and comfortable doing. They said yes to both. The seamstress placed all three patches crooked. After pointing it out to him, he tried three times to fix it. Each time worst than the previous one, making holes in the leather that can't be repaired and leaving stains on the patches. I asked to speak to the owners. They never called me, I called several times and showed up as well. The owners refused to reach out to me. Instead the worker who did the work started getting aggressive and yelling at me. I got a final call from an employee telling me the owners would not take any responsibility. I had to pay $200 out of pocket to fix the jacket. Don't waste your time or money on this place. read more

I had a very similar experience as one of the other more recent reviews I read on this Yelp page. I took in a simple white lace dress and was charged $80 to have it cleaned. The lady pointed out that the reason for this high cost was due to some light stains on the front of the dress. I pick up my white dress today and the dress still had the same stains. I never received any calls or messages to inform me of any issues. I came today expecting to see a clean white dress after paying $80 to clean it. That $80 I paid for my dress to be cleaned was a complete waste of time and money. I now need to look for a better place to take my white dress to. I asked the lady if I could have some of the $80 I paid reimbursed, and she refused. I have taken a few different items to this place in the past and will never go back there again. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Every time I take my jeans or pants there, they come back looking exactly how I want, and I love that they hem them with the original hem for that perfect, original look. Took in a few stained suits I had stored for a while, and I wasn't sure if the marks would come out. The owner personally looked them over, pointed out the problem areas, explained some options and said he'd do his best. When I came back to pick them up, I was honestly amazed they looked like new. I do not recommend this dry cleaning facility. I brought in linen pants with a small chocolate stain and a dress with some natural and synthetic materials that had a noticeable water stain. When dropping it off I indicated to the lady running the store where and what the stains were and she marked the areas with tape. Assuming the stains couldn't have been unusual to her for being in the business for 15 years, she took in my clothes without hesitation. I pick up my items a few days later, with water mark and stains still there. I went back and showed her. She got defensive immediately and said that she told me she would try her best. That was a lie, she never told me when taking my clothes that she would try her best to take out a water and chocolate stain. She refused offering a refund or offering to try cleaning it again. Update: I took the same items to a different dry cleaners and told them what the stains were and when picking them up I checked for stains and they were gone. I came here because my friend asked if I would take her sweatshirt there to get the zipper fixed. I bought a replacement zipper and matching thread but Monica kindly pointed out that I bought a Dress Zipper and it would not work for the jacket. I found an assortment of Zipper Pulls and Stops that would remedy the problem so Bought them and dropped everything off, giving her the thread and zipper as she would probably use them before I would and it would cost more in gas to return them to two different places. I will hopefully pick up the jacket later today sometime before they close. Monica was charming. Having worked at Tony's Dry Cleaning near Colima on Whittier I know how difficult it can be working at a dry cleaners. I look forward to seeing Monica in the near future. read more

I'm the team Mom for my 7yr olds baseball team and we got some patches that needed to be sewed on and I went to 3 other places and they all wanted to charge me $5-$6 per jersey which I thought was a lot. So I went to eat at Jacks and seen this place and thought I would just ask and she gave me a great price $3 per jersey. This place is very reasonable and would definitely go back. I have been coming to this business for the past two years, things finally came to a head. The dry cleaning is what it's supposed to be and what people have come to expect when they pay for a service. The reliability and consistency however is what has lead to this Yelp review. The only items I have been taking here to be cleaned and tailored are uniforms. The tailoring was a gamble every time requiring multiple follow up visits to finally get what I was requesting....this is basic pant hemming we're talking about. As far as the tailoring goes what really frustrated me was making two requests on separate trips for shirt stay holes in a shirt they had tailored. The first trip I requested shirt stay holes, didn't get them, took the shirt back for dry cleaning and requested them again, still didn't get them. I soon realized this simple request by me, a paying customer, was a lost cause. I decided to overlook this and continued my patronage as the location is conveniently located close to home. Tuesday I brought in multiple shirts, pants, and ties needed for work. I was informed they would be ready Thursday (now today). When I went in to pick up my dry cleaning I was asked if I needed my ties today....I was informed the ties were in another city being cleaned and I could not receive them as promised and agreed upon today. Like I said, I need these items for work. In closing, this location has lost my business after failing to follow through with basic services as agreed upon and bonded by payment. read more

I came here to get a tshirt and skort (skirt with shorts attached under) altered. For the tshirt I had the shoulders, sleeves, and the bottom hem shortened. For the skirt I had both the under shorts and skirt shortened. Everything was $35. I am extremely happy with the results. It doesn't even look like they've been altered. The seams look exactly like when I first bought them. I wish the price was a tad lower, hence the loss of a star. Overall, I would come here again for future alterations. read more

I guess they have fluctuating prices here... I asked the lady how much it would be to dry clean two suits. She said $6. So I repeated for 2? She says yes. I come to pick them up and she says $20. I told her I thought you said $6? She says no it's $6 a jacket and $2 for pants. Then she repeats herself, yeah $3 for pants... I say $3 for pants? Yes, $3.50 for pants... I just payed her before it got any higher... I don't get clothes dry cleaned very often so I don't know what the going rate is these days but I know I'm never going here again. read more
