Let me begin by saying, refrain from purchasing a vehicle from this place because you WILL regret it! So, spare yourself the headache and go elsewhere. This place is the worst car dealership I've ever encountered. One of my biggest regrets (I write this review late because this situation took A LOT out of me and having to write this and relive it is something I've been avoiding because of how traumatic it was to me) but here goes...my red flag should've been the moment I walked in and wasn't greeted by anyone at all, it wasn't until I sarcastically said "anyone working here today?" That someone came to us... I purchased a Tesla from OttoSource by salesman, Jahari on 05/21/2022 (DATES ARE IMPORTANT) I encountered my first issue on 06/20 (1 day before having it for a month) because I paid $5k I believe it was for additional coverage/warranty having its first issue wasn't a big deal because I was grateful to myself that I did get that additional warranty (3rd party) purchased from Otto Source that they sell you when buying a car. The issue with the car was it randomly did not want to charge anymore. And because Tesla uses energy even when you are not using the vehicle, the battery life completely died. So then we had to get a tow truck to come and get it and take it to Tesla for $200. We took it to Tesla on 07/07 and was told they needed to replace the battery THE MOST EXPENSIVE PART OF A TESLA. Tesla told us the warranty on the car itself by Tesla was expired but again, we were ok with it because we had purchased additional warranty by OttoSource, which they sold us and put in a claim for the battery. The 3rd party then told us they did indeed cover the battery and all we had to do was pay $10k upfront to Tesla and with the receipt they would reimburse us. So like idiots, we did but what choice did we have? We just put $10k as a down payment on the car, and we felt like we didn't have much of a choice. We gave the 3rd party the receipt and received an email stating they do not cover batteries. So now, I'm balling my eyes out because I just dropped $20k on a car I just purchased not even a month ago and the situation I was in shouldn't have been the case in the first place. So now I have every emotion you can think of fueling my body, from anger, to sadness, to disappointment, to regret. Fast-forward Tesla then had the car till 08/16 when they finally gave it back to us. [Side note: I still hadn't received the license plates for the car either and the paper plates were about to expire in a day or so.] The following day after I pick up the car and wake up to once again more issues: Key fob not in vehicle service: 08/17, 08/20 flood in DFW caused bottom of car to come apart, spoke to Tesla service & stated it was a $200 cost to fix, 8/21 both pedals pressed down did not want to come up service: 08/22, 08/23 break lights would not turn off while parked/away from vehicle. At this point I've given up and I don't even care for this car anymore all my energy depleted because of the car I bought from OttoSource. It finally came to my mind to speak to my father about the situation since I finally remembered him being a car salesman. I spoke to him and he instantly told me "they sold you a Lemmon car" if you don't know what that means, Google it. And he told me I needed to get an attorney involved but to call the dealership and let them know what's been going on. So, I finally call OttoSource and spoke to "manager" Rogerick on 8/23 and was told they could do a trade in but I would lose the 10k down payment and that just wasn't ok with me. Since I just spent $25k on this vehicle and I cant drive it for even a week without issues constantly happening. I told him I would have to get a lawyer involved in which he stated "well all a lawyer is going to do is side with you to take your money." At that point I just hung up. I just hope this never happens to anyone, it was really draining and exhausting. Caused so many arguments with my husband and I just don't wish this upon anyone. read more

WOW!!!! I couldn't have had a better experience buying a car... I walk in thinking I know exactly what I wanted. (Audi 2015 A6 Blk on Blk) as I got 3 feet in the door I was greeted by a Salesman with a big smile on his face he told me his name was Nico, he extended his hand for handshake. We took the Audi out and I didn't like how it drove, I was car shop and I told him that..Nico was great he didn't pressure me in to anything he simply gave me his personal cell and told me to text him and let him know if I found something... I came back the next day wanting to Test drive another car (2016 Lexus Gs) drove it and on the car fax it had damage reported and Nico told me that! FYI all there cars have a Car Fax... So I left still with no car... I left town on business and I was browsing on Otto source website I saw they had a couple of new cars come in and I saw the car I wanted with a clean car fax I couldn't wait to get back home so I could test drive.. I got there and I drove it... (Mercedes CLA 2015 Blk on Blk) It didn't drive like a Luxury car.... and by now I was getting frustrated so I could only think Nico was too... but instead he had a big smile on his face and told me when you find what you looking for you will know. I saw another Mercedes but this one looked a little bigger, I ask him if I could test drive that he said sure, and off we went and before I got out of the parking lot I turned to Nico and said this is my car!!!! We got back and Nico had introduce me to his GM which his name was Antonio that I had met on my first vist... He help with all the paperwork and filled my new car up before I left..... I told them thank you for allowing me to pick my car instead of just trying to force me in one! Great people to deal with, and very transparent!! Go check them out ask for Nico or Antonio they will take care of you!!! Thanks guys.... read more

I recently purchased a 2007 Lexus ES 350 from Otto Source and what an amazing experience. My sales rep was Scott Fischer. Scott made us feel like we were the only people in the showroom. This is a man of great character and integrity. When I deal with sales reps I look for several things and right on the top of my list is integrity. Some folks say they have integrity but it isn't long and you realize that there may be an issue. Scott is a man of integrity. Scott took us out for a test drive and asked us right off if we wanted to go on the freeway or just drive around. I told him I wanted to take it out on the freeway. Folks, this is important and I have actually had dealers tell me their insurance wouldn't cover them if they went out on a freeway. The car was amazing and Scott was very patient with us, even after we missed the exit and had to drive an extra mile to an off-ramp. Scott was very helpful and made the buying of our Lexus one of the most pleasant experience I have ever had in buying a car. I have bought dozens over the years. I would also like to say that Dylan Yazel our finance guy was also amazing. We had had a couple of issues with our paperwork and he stuck in there like a champ. After several emails and phone calls to me and my insurance company, Dylan was able to clear up a pay-off on a car that was totaled so we could move forward with our financing. I believe that his persistent consistent effort made all the difference the purchase of our Lexus. I want to thank both Scott and Dylan for their professionalism and now friendship. We plan on making Otto Source our "GO TO" dealer for future automobile purchases. Frank and Sandy Schindler read more

I couldn't agree more with Robert P more. They did the same thing with me on a car I purchased with them last year. I ended up buying another car from a new dealership this year and was stupid enough to use their body shop at Eurotech. Took them 12 days to do a simple bumper job, claiming the insurance company Farmers were crooked and wouldn't pay them their money. I kept calling Farmers and they kept telling me they haven't sent us pics yet and Jon Tucker kept telling me he did and that Farmers were lying. I had to go by there halfway through the 12 days just to make him start on the job. Finally he calls me to say that the car is ready, I go by there and they keep their shop dark so it's hard to notice that they didn't do the job right. I notice it when I was putting gas in the car during daylight. I had to go back and wait for them to fix the rest. While back there I noticed that the had put almost 300 miles on my car since they got it, that's why gas was on super low. Jon Tucker claimed that he didn't know anything about it and that he was gonna check his cameras. His solution was that I would bring the car back and leave it overnight so they can detail t for me as a credit. RIGHT, I AM A MORON SO I AM GOING TO DO THAT! Its a nice car, a 2015 Mercedes S550, so Jon basically felt like driving it for the 12 days he had it and thought I would be ok with that?!! DO NOT GO HERE! OTTO, the owner of Otto Source and Jon's boss should be selling tacos not cars. read more

I saw a vehicle online and called Ottosource to get an appointment to view the car in person. We had to wait a couple of days before we could drive up to Dallas from Austin, but Tracie kept me informed on the status of the car and our scheduled appointment. With covid-19 happening, this is probably the most quiet dealership I have ever visited. No "service call on line 3", etc. Tracie is their Internet manager and she is working from home, so we met Mike Steen and started the process to see and drive the car. I have not purchase a vehicle in ten years and there many paperwork steps before a test drive happens these days. Mike handled all of necessary paperwork steps and we went to look at and drive the car. Both my wife and I took turns doing a test drive. There was no pressure just "what do you think" from Mike. We decided to buy the car and Mike started the pile of paperwork it currently takes to buy a car today. We decided to have the car shipped down to Austin and Mike handled the details. As part of the Ottosource delivery process it was discovered that the multi function unit on the car was faulty and they had a new unit installed by the manufacture's dealership. In addition a few additional cosmetic details were done by Ottosource and the preowned vehicle looks like new. This is the first preowned car I have ever purchased and the Ottosource dealership provided an outstanding experience. read more

Are you looking for an attractive luxury car for a fair price? Do you appreciate integrity, honor, honesty, dependability, and reliability? Well look no further. These qualities are exactly what to expect from the people at OttoSource. Their attractive, roomy showroom is conveniently located at the Southeast corner of I35 and 635, filled with dream cars, and staffed with helpful, friendly, responsive personnel. I told the Lexus dealership that I wanted a better deal than they offered, or I'd go somewhere else. They encouraged me to go, so I left and found OttoSource. Looking back I am so glad they were rude and obstinate at the Lexus dealership. At OttoSource, I purchased the exact same car offered at the dealership, but with OttoSource, I saved 17% off the purchase price offered at the dealership for the car of my dreams while sincerely enjoying the experience. You owe it to yourself to check out OttoSource to purchase the car of your dreams. Do yourself a favor and buy it from them if available. You will be so delighted for having given OttoSource personnel the opportunity to serve you, and saving thousands of dollars feels good, too. read more

I just purchased a vehicle from Ottosource. I had been to well over 5 dealerships and no one could ever find something that I'd love and most important fit my budget. I almost just gave up when leaving Toyota of dallas I saw their sign for 220 a month and decided it couldn't hurt to just check it out. I was greeted at the door by one of the salesman and even the General Sales Manager Mike himself. From beginning to end they made my whole buying experience amazing. I sat down and within 10 minutes they had over 4 options that fit everything I needed. They let me drive the two I chose and even showed me the difference in monthly payments in the two. Not only did they beat my finance rate my credit union gave me but they also helped me get a warranty that covers everything mechanical. I went from looking at civics and corollas to going home in a beautiful Lexus. Before leaving the general manager Jay even came back to thank me for choosing Ottosource and asked me a few questions on my experience there. I have sent 2 of my family members and 3 of my friends there to buy a luxury vehicle as well. Thanks again OttoSource!!!! read more

Few weeks ago I was hit on the highway by a pick up truck. The driver left without exchanging an insurance info and my car was totaled. I was in a real need of a car and started to shop on line. My husband and I went to see several vehículos but none of them was really what we were looking for. I requested an appointment with Otto Recourses and Ashley sent me sweet note with an information on the car I've picked but also included pictures and information on several other cars she thought I might like. As it turned out one of them was the "it" car for me. In the time of Covid I believe I am not the only one with a problematic financial situation, however Ashley worked with us very hard, keeping in mind my situation, my goal when it comes to payment as well as a need for warranty and gap insurance. At the end Ashley actually exceeded our expectations. We got to hold on to some of our down payment funds and our our monthly payments don't start till December! Very happy customer! read more

Attention to detail and great customer service is the primary emphasis of Ottosource! I am a single parent of two small children and Rashid (amazing sales guy) was not only accommodating but extremely knowledgable and respectful. I visited many dealers and did not get the service or the genuine attention as when I walked into Ottosource. It all started with an employee by the name of Natasha that selected an associate to meet my needs. She continued to check in and take care of the small details so that my process was easy. Although this is only my 3rd luxury car, I have never felt so satisfied and in good hands as I did with the process because of Rashid. After I took the car home there were a few "hiccups" that needed to be handled and all I did was contact the manger, he made sure they were fixed and gave me a loner until the issues were corrected. Once you go the "ottosource way" there is no turning back! What a great group of people. read more

After reading some of these reviews I must say I do not agree with some. It is a used car dealership so you can't expect a used car to be perfect but Ottosource will give you close enough. I walked in not expecting much and was gong in just to browse their inventory. I was amazed with how beautiful and kept up those vehicles are and how attentive everyone was. They worked with me and got me approved the car I selected had some flaws but once I pointed them out they took it on them to fix them and I received my car fully detailed it was amazing the flaws weren't there. They also offered a couple of warranties which covers a wide range of interior and exterior coverages. So my experience from beginning to end was a thumbs up and I will be letting a couple of coworkers along with family members who are in the market for a vehicle and I will be highly referring and recommending this dealership read more

Shout out from Greg From Otto Source. Literally went on the app. Dude was cool as hell and really broke down the game how it needs to be worked. When I got the car , the only thing that was wrong with it was there was 1 low tire . Rating a 5 not because of Otto Source... because of Greg. At the time of purchasing the car, I had a few dealerships I had in mind. Greg was the most responsive. There was a few things that happened which caused me to have to stay late ... Greg was so calm and was able to keep me calm as I was getting frustrated of the long process. Greg knows what he is doing and cares about you as a person. There have even been car questions I am able to text him, and he WILL FIND THE ANSWER . Man deserves a raise ! Well done. Will deff be coming back once this car is paid off. IF I COME BACK IM ONLY REQUESTING GREG ! Thank you sir ! read more

My wife got suckered a few years ago before we met into a lease on a Honda that she eventually began to not like so much. She searched around online and found a used BMW 328i Xdrive coupe for sale at Ottosource. She contacted them and really got a good vibe from Chris. We drove the hour to their dealership (let me mention it was all indoors) and test drive the BMW. She fell in love and we worked a deal. Chris was extremely professional and has kept in contact with us even after the purchase. We were in and out within 2 maybe 2 1/2 hours with a car we would be paying $100 less per month for. They have made us, without a doubt, customers for life. Chris even checked in on us after my wife wrecked it 9 days later. He was genuinely concerned for her safety. Thanks to Chris at Ottosource for making the car buying experience enjoyable. read more

I would recommend Ottosource to anyone looking for an affordable quality luxury vehicle. I worked with Christian initially looking at an X5, however noticed the most beautiful 750. Christian was able to accommodate the sale of the vehicle with some additional items that I asked to confirm had been done. The finance department worked tirelessly to find me the best rate (half the rate of my last vehicle loan). They advised the vehicle had been checked and said no issues were found except maintenance ones. After picking up the car, I took it to BMW of Grapevine and confirmed the vehicle was in good condition. I am loving my new ride and appreciate all of the help from Christian and his Ottosource team. Thanks! read more

This Company was incredibly courteous and thorough throughout this entire process. Lily was so nice and helpful to us. She passed us to Aubrey who then went above and beyond our expectations. From the initial first conversation she was very informative. She gave us all of our information to purchase outside financing with ease. There were no hidden fees nor numbers she could not explain. She showed us all of our warranty options and how they differed, and just literally explained things I as a 42 year old woman did not know purchasing my 4th vehicle. I would Highly recommend this company and Aubrey as your point of sales! You will not be Disappointed! Thank you guys for this truly awesome experience! read more

I called late Saturday afternoon to check availability on the vehicle I had been searching for all day. AJ texted me back and quickly sent me a quote. He was quick to respond to my texts as we negotiated a reasonable deal. Unfortunately, they were closing at 5pm. AJ washed the vehicle and had it ready for us to test drive when we arrived. He worked with finance and got me a better interest rate than what was being offered by my credit union. I told him how I appreciated how upfront he was all during the process. (Don't know why this is showing San Fran but this was for Dallas TX location.) read more

"Truly the best! " Tracie and Jimmy are truly is the best- Although I have not met them personally because I live in Montana, Tracie has been working with me over the phone and through text messages for the past 3 weeks. She has diligently responded to all of my questions and concerns and has gone far above and beyond what anyone would ever expect. Jimmy has been nothing short of extremely professional and responsive. The car arrived yesterday and looks fantastic- I will be referring friends to OttoSource, despite the fact it is out of state, and definitely plan to purchase all future vehicles. read more

We just finished a deal with Dylan, and my wife and I are extremely pleased with our new car! Never in my life have I had a better experience buying a car than from going to Ottosource! The people who work there are extremely kind and have personalities. Any little question I had, Dylan was able to answer me with no problem. Ottosource is a place where someone can get the car of their dreams without the hidden tricks that other car dealerships implement in deals. Great people, great cars, great location! I would recommend Ottosource to any family or friends looking for affordable luxury cars! read more

I recently purchased a vehicle from Ottosource in Dallas, and my experience was great. Shaun, my sales rep, was fantastic. He was responsive, easy to work with, fun, and professional. Ashley, my finance rep, was knowledgeable, responsive, professional, and fun, too. We even experienced some hiccups in the purchasing process, and Shaun and Ashley were there to save the day. It is so refreshing to work with people like them. The car is BEAUTIFUL and I am still trying to name it. Thank you Shaun and Ashley, and thank you OTTOSOURCE DALLAS (Forest Lane). read more
