My husband spoke to Brendon Rogers about an infinity Q80 that was for sale. We told him we were coming from over an hour away to see this vehicle. Brendon told us that he wouldn't be there but his boss "Don" would be there to show us the vehicle. He said it was there and it would be no problem for us to come check it out. We get there to find out neither Brendon, Don , or the vehicle was there ! Apparently they had sold it 10 days ago. I 100% think they were just trying to get us there thinking we would buy something else! This is not a huge lot! You could literally look out the window and see all the cars. They only have around 30 cars TOTAL!! The salespeople kept telling us they could show us something else . Lol You bait me into over an hour drive to look at a car that doesn't exist! What a lousy ,crooked thing to do. read more

Their website claims that if you give them an email address, they have a special Internet price. Then they text you that there is a sale for three days. You make an appointment, you show up at the dealership the car has not been pulled around as promised. No one knows you're coming. The person that has been texting 1 question at a time all day long, they don't know her...this is annoying already. I told you my time, date and car I wanted to look at we don't have to have a monologue or write a book. (they call every time they text, I'm at work and can't answer calls) and now this person isn't even available they are located in some call center somewhere else to bait you into coming to the store. I live in Fort Worth so it's an hour there and 1.5 back. We don't have time to play around with, Oh, hello who are you, who did you talk to, what car are you looking at? Oh ok let me pull this around for you. We take a test drive. I need the carfax report, I get it we go through it. Let's talk numbers... The salesman wants to know how much finance you have been approved for. I'm not telling you my finance amount can you work with me or not? I'm asking you what's your FINAL PRICE for this car that's out the door and all fees added. Finally gets me this info then tells me that I can give him an offer, I finally do and in 10 min he says that's too low (ok thank you I'm ok with that finally an answer). Then it's we're closing early so what can we do for you are you still interested in this car? These go quickly, I know that's why I want this make/model because it's highly sought after and it wont be the last one. So you have my info and my price range now can call me if you find me a car. Then I ask him for the paper that we have been doodling on. "Oh and we can't give you our printed out offer page because it has all your personal information on It and we have to shred it"?!? Really interesting experience. read more

Joseph in sales was a God send. I went in on a Saturday just to get some prices and ideas yet came out with a blessing. I thank God for placing Joseph in my path on that day, he was exactly what I needed. Joseph was a very patient, kind sales rep. I knew what kind of car I wanted and thought I knew the color and I say thought because poor Joseph worked his magic twice to get me the perfect color for my son. I had a migraine the entire time and had to go back and fourth with my husband who was on a trip, since I was just coming in for prices. I told Joseph what I wanted, what I could pay, and he made it happen. Very honest, patient salesman. If you're in the market for a car go see Joseph! The entire staff was great. Nisa made the process so easy for us. We were able to get a car a great rate even with our challenged credit due to credit consolidation. She was able to get us into a 2020 new outlander suv. Again great place to get a car at. Made our day. See Nisa for a car. She'll work to get you what you need and work with your budget and credit. The credit amnesty program is legit and fair. They will not give you a rediculous rate and would buy another from them again. read more

We decided to go to Don Herring Mitsubishi on the recommendation from the radio show Wheels with Ed Wallace. Because Ed always talks about how he only lets "honest" car dealers advertise on his show. That his car dealers always provide excellent service. Paid $38,000 sticker price, less a $10K factory rebate, in cash for a new 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV late December of 2020. I didn't try to negotiate or anything because E said you can trust his guys. They hadn't preppeed the car 100%, there were still scratches that needed touching up and some other stuff. They said go ahead and take it, drive it and if you find anything else we'll take care of it. They also provided a list of other things that they would handle free of charge. However, every time we tried to schedule to bring the car in to take care of this punchlist etc,... they had an excuse for why they couldn't handle it at the time. Finally they told us we could buy the paint touch up and do it ourselves. This is the kind of response and service (or lack there of) we received throughout 2021. One of the things was to have the oil changed and the tires rotated at 5000 miles. It finally reached 5000 miles in April of 2022, we called to schedule the oil change and they said we'd have to pay for the oil change and oh by the way, the tire rotation too because the one year time limit was up. Then recently they had the gall to text me and say they had 2022 Outlanders for sale. LOL Bottom line, Don Herring and by association with Ed Wallace and I must assume the other car dealers are no more honest than the used car lots you find in some of the less desireable parts of the metroplex. I've bought several vehicles from Chuck Fairbanks Chevrolet in Desoto over the last 20+ years and have never had anything but a great experience with them. Chuck Fairbanks, isn't one of Ed's buddies he lets on the show. I will never buy from a dealership Ed Wallace speaks for. It's bad enough he's a biden supporting lefty, obviously he's paid well by his used car salesmen buddies. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would! I applied for a car on Dec 23rd 2022 I called and asked to speak with a salesman to help me he proceeded and told me that he was a salesman and that he will assist me! Mind you I called a 9:00am i texted him he kept telling me he would give me an answer! 3:00 pm went by 5:00 pm, and 7:00 pm so I called and guess what i was declined! now I check my credit report this morning HARD INQUIRY AND STILL NO ANSWER! very unprofessional now I'm like what did you do with my information? BUYER BEWARE - JUST BECAUSE THEY SAY YES DOES NOT MEAN THEY CAN. The people at Don Herring Mitsubishi were very pleasant during the process; however, could not come close to delivering as promised (See the text between the employees and myself during the verification process, before spending 2 hours driving back and forth plus another 2 at the location during the sales process). We looked at three different ways to make it work without success (With a $1000.00 down not $49 as stated). First we looked at purchase with all discounts applied. Could not get there. We were off by $ 120.00 a month (not much right) over the life of the contract (84 months) would cost me another $10,080.00. Then we tried the offer as it was presented in the ad, they did not even give me the monthly price is was so far off the mark HERE IS THE AD URL: https://www.donherringdallas.com/newspecials.html BUY ONE DRIVE TWO! BEWARE of service department at this dealership. My husband and I taken our car in for an oil change and someone in the service department cracked our windshield and lied about it saying it was cracked upon arrival. Alan Ray General Manager stated he would send videos of us on their parking lot. He did however he did not send all the video and now he is saying due to Dallas roads the windshield might have cracked on the way. I requested videos of us arriving on the parking lot and us waiting at the service doors before someone drove the car back. He sent cloudy videos of the car moving and not the correct angles. This is very poor customer service and should be handled better. SOMEONE IN YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT CRACKED OUR WINDSHIELD ANS IS LYING!! Customers beware and I suggest take pictures of your vehicle on arrival so you don't have to go through this!! read more

My car has been in their possession since 2/1/22 to repair the catalytic converter. I've made several attempts to communicate with the management regarding the repair as this is my only mode of transportation to work and to get my kids to school. I've spoken with Ruben (Manager), Ray Allen (GM) and Cynthia (corporate) whom all did not have anything to say besides they did not know how long it would take. They did not offer a loaner or rental to ensure that I can make it to work or take my kids to school. I would not recommend this establishment AT ALL as they get your car, do not return your phone calls, dodge your visits and are not helpful at all. This place seems to be a SCAM! read more

I was trying to buy a Nissan 370Z and Carmax was dithering around about getting me into it after asking for a $1900 down payment which I had. Jaunita Ramirez from Don Herring called me in and did such a masterful job of presenting my current car, a 2019 Eclipse Cross that I couldn't help but buy! its a great car and her knowledge of it was amazing! She helped my set up my Auto Android, explained the Eco drive, and much more. And I walked out the same day with a brand new car!!!!! needless to say guess who called the next day trying to sell me the 370z?? Hahahaha their loss Juanita Ramirez is who you should talk to if you want to get into a new car. read more

I left a review for Don Herring Mitsubishi Marvin D Love Dallas location when I bought my car about a month ago; at this time I'd like to leave a review for just one of the employees that works there. Her name is Kenzi and when I tell you she is absolute amazing.. I've literally experienced the best quality of customer service that I can ever remember having before. I work in customer service as well so I am sometimes a tough critic when it comes to service standards; I can 100% assure you that this young lady has impressed me time and time again.. As I said, it's been at least a month since I got the car & bless her heart, I've probably called & text her 20 times with Questions &/or asking for assistance or advice for issues that she shouldn't even been dealing with I'm sure. This whole time I was thinking I was contacting her work only phone; then tonight I text asking a question & suggestion.. She texts back immediately just as she pretty much always does; then tonight I found out she's not even in town right now!! Yet she's still answering & responding W/o a hint of frustration or hesitation. Her constant genuine care, concern, & dedication surpasses any expectations I've had for providing excellent customer service. Truthfully, I wasn't extremely pleased with the beginning of my visit to Don Herring; but 100% ibecause of Kenzi that I am sure to return for my next vehicle purchasse. I've told all my friends and family & now I'm telling all of ya'll... GO SEE KENZI AT DON HERRING MITSUBISHI, THE DALLAS LOCATION (located on Marvin D Love Frwy); I PROMISE YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!! read more

Misleading practices - Don't explain/ask for consent to use your personal/credit information I visited Don Herring Mitsubishi (Dallas, Tx) on 09/12/2012. I asked them to appraise my car for a trade-in. They asked my personal and credit information and NEVER told me or ask for my CONSENT to share the information with 4 different lenders. This is just misleading, they knew I was only "browsing" for a car and I would said NO if they ask for my consent. They shared my personal and credit information with 4 lenders WITHOUT my authorization. Please avoid this dealership, they are dishonest and would use any "tactic" (no matter how dishonest could be) to muscle you to buy a car. read more

They asked my personal and credit information and NEVER told me or ask for my CONSENT to share the information with third party lenders. Anyway, they shared my personal and credit information with 4 lenders WITHOUT my authorization This is completely and absolutely wrong and misleading, they knew I was only "browsing" for a car and I would said NO if they ask for my consent. Later, I called the dealership to express my dissatisfaction and place a formal complaint and the management was not only useless but disrespectful and rude. They did not provided with any solution and kept misleading and acting on a dishonest way, pretending to say what I was properly informed about the situation when even the sales representative (I spoke with him first) recognized that I was not told or ask for my consent to share my personal/credit information with third party lenders. read more
