How fun). During this visit, I waited in the waiting room rather than leaving since I was only quoted an hour wait. I ended up waiting a whopping three hours and they hadn't even provided me with the complimentary car wash. During this visit, I talked to the assistant service manager because I was upset about the long wait times and he let me know that he advises all of his advisors to give out loaner cars, even for simple services. I was a bit disappointed that this wasn't an option for me. As with all mini servicing, we did find other issues with my car and I very much wanted to go elsewhere to get these things fixed. However, I was able to come to an agreement with the assistant service manager and was guaranteed a loaner for my next servicing as well as that free car wash I was missing so I decided to give them one last chance. During this second visit, I would say everything went smoothly: I was provided with the loaner car which I used for about a day and a half and then I picked up my car at the end. Overall, the people who work here are all very nice and friendly. My only two complaints are: they take a very long time so make sure to advocate for yourself and get a loaner car, and they are very pricey (but obviously this is the case as it's the dealership).

When my vehicle suddenly lost all drive function (no forward or reverse), I took it straight to Planet Ford because I assumed I was dealing with an internal transmission failure. That's when I learned the truth: the transmission had lost its fluid due to a major leak at the driver-side CV axle -- the exact area Kwik Kar had serviced. Had I known the axle work and the transmission failure were connected, I would have returned to them immediately. I only agreed to replace the entire CV axle because Clayton, the shop manager, told me the torn boot near the driver's-side tire required a full axle replacement. But after the work was done, a slow leak developed at the seal/bushing area. It was later confirmed by multiple technicians that the issue came from excess play caused by the replacement axle shaft not properly fitting the original transmission bushing -- a bushing they inspected and claimed was "fine," but clearly was not. All I can do now is warn others: please think twice before bringing your vehicle there. The promises of help were not followed through, the accountability never came, and I would not wish this experience on anyone.
