We spoke with several companies, and selected Quality Tree Surgery because they were knowledgeable, had a competitive price, and had good reviews from our neighbors. They did excellent work. When we spoke with them during the job, they listened to what we wanted, explained what they were doing, and why they were doing it. They were very nice, cleaned up very well, were respectful of our neighbors' yards, and did the work in less time than they anticipated. Since then, we have used Quality Tree Surgery to aerate and overseed our yard, and to control aphids on a nearby hackberry (both are annual jobs). When we need to hire anyone to do work to our trees or yard going forward, I won't even bother getting other companies to quote the work. We just go straight to Quality Tree Surgery. They are honest, reliable, do good work, offer reasonable pricing, and every employee we have dealt with has been knowledgeable and pleasant.

WITHOUT ANY COMMUNICATION a week later an individual stopped by unannounced, opened my closed gate, and let themselves into my backyard and let my 3 dogs out. I would expect any reputable company to schedule this or at a minimum communicate to the customer, which would remove any risk on both ends. Instead, they let my dogs out. Additionally, Robyn, who answers the phones, finds this to be a totally normal procedure and pushed back that they did not need to give me any notification. If my rottweiler had caused any issues I'm sure they would love the opportunity to come after me.

Christopher Price came out and looked at our five trees - one of which is laying on an electrical wire, so time is of the essence. We made a plan to eliminate the danger, plus do a full day of trimming and nutrient injections. He seemed to really care about our trees and we were excited to work with him, even though the scope and the quote were beyond what we had initially planned on spending. What followed was three weeks of unfulfilled promises, excuses, and constant prodding on our part to get communication. We're relatively easygoing, but he committed to doing work for us, and then wouldn't send us a contract or set a date so it was super frustrating. As another reviewer said - if you don't have time for us or don't want to work with us, just let us know that so we don't waste our time. Three weeks later, I now have to start the hunt for a vendor all over again.
