I had one tree up against my house and they took great care to make sure it fell away from anything that could be damaged. TERRIBLE SERVICES!!!! Dever was hired to remove a tree from my back yard and totally destroyed my 10x10 tent and my damaged my patio furniture. He did replace the tent, all be it a cheaper version. But when it came to my patio furniture, he would only offer me a used patio furniture set from his personal home. When I did not accept he tried to low ball me on a price. Oh and the kicker is he DID NOT remove the tree. I had to get another company to finish what he started. So if you need tree removal please use someone else. read more

We relocated to Williamson county about a year ago and we have around 4 acres, with quite a few trees needing to be removed. Through some research on yelp and google, I eventually had 3 different companies come out and quote me. Including Dever and MIG. I don't leave many reviews on social media, but I trusted Dever's assessment of our situation above and beyond any of the other companies. His recommendations not only ended up saving us from Wasting unnecessary $, but he also identified a couple trees which he recommended for me removal, which I hadn't thought of. And he was right. When they were removed today it was obvious they had major termite damage internally, which I never would have been able to identify myself, nor did any of the other groups mention it. If we would have left those trees, we would have had some substantial risk to our home and other structures if they would have fallen naturally. Dever and his team's communication was quick and did exactly what they suggested they would, in the timeline they originally presented. I'm super pleased with the overall results, how they cleaned up, and the value of this entire project. Im not sure how far MIG travels but if you're in or around Williamson county I would definitely recommended talking with Dever and MIG. read more

Dev did an amazing job for us. We had a huge tree about to fall on our house. He came out the same day that we called, and in spite of storm warnings, came first thing the next day and took down the tree. They stacked the wood and cleaned up so well that you would never know that they were there. Dev is fun and easy to talk to. It feels so right to support a privately owned local business. read more

After talking with many tree services and getting a few estimates, we chose Men In Green to handle the extensive clean up of our property after the ice storm. They arrived on the scheculed day and spent two days removing all limbs and cleaning damage from the ice storm, including removing 3 downed trees, grinding the stumps and doing what they could to repair our Magnolia's that were severely damaged. Dev and his crew had the right equipment to handle everything, worked hard and were completely professional and accommodating throughout the process. There is a great advantage in having the owner of the company on site and working harder than anyone else to assure that the job is done right. They removed or chipped everything and left our yard completely clean. The cost was reasonable and lower by several thousand dollars than other estimates we received. Didn't show up during our FOUR hour window for just an estimate. No communication about delays or anything. A waste of my day off. Later was told he had been "in the neighborhood" earlier in the week and had prepared a quote, so he didn't need to come by. I'm not sure how that's possible since he didn't know which tree I was talking about and what I want done. And no communication about him not coming by until I reached out at the end of the window. Set up appointment for free quote the next morning, Dever the owner came out tailored my quote to clean up and prune a weeping willow. Removed two trees and ground down the stumps. First off...the only contractor to actually return my request for an estimate. Then Dever and crew showed up as scheduled. One of the trees was particularly challenging to take down but MiG took the time to read the tree and took it down without damage to fence or property. Cleaned up the yard beautifully. Wow! Dever and team are just great! I just recently purchased a property with a lot of dead or untamed trees. I reached out to Dever on Yelp and he was able to come out for a free quote right away. It took me some time before I wanted to schedule the work but once I did, he showed up , on time as scheduled, with his son and one other team member. They showed up with some heavy duty equipment that made me feel so much better about this entire process. I had recently watched my neighbor get some trees taken down, by someone else, and they did not take any safety precautions and they did not seem to have the right equipment so seeing Dever show up with all of this equipment, made me feel so much better! They took down this giant old dead tree in my front yard, as well as 2 very large tree branches growing over my house. I even had a strange request of mulching most of the tree they took down and mulching it for my garden. I like to be able to reuse wherever I can and he was totally onboard with helping me accomplish that. I felt that he quoted me more than fairly and he even went above and beyond what I asked for and trimmed some of the other tree branches around the property. They also removed a pile of sticks I had piled up next to the house that needed to be disposed of, and I didn't even ask them to do that so that was amazing. AND they brought my trash can in from the street. Needless to say I was blown away with how seamless this entire process was and how great it was to work with them.
