His shop is filled with lots of spare parts for the popular r/c brands (traxxas, hpi) along with a few dozen of rtr's and kits. He may not have the vast selection some of the other hobby shops in Mississauga have, as his shop isn't the largest, but he will order anything in for you and actually call you to let you know when it has arrived. His prices are in line with everyone else too. If you're in the area and run r/c cars or trucks, Galaxy should be your LHS.

Do you need decals for whatever reason? They have a big free bin near the front. Do you need cement? What types? There are so many! And, if you don't know, the guys who work there do, and they will make sure you walk away with what you need. If you've been thinking about giving models a go, or are just looking for a place that has shelves lined with them, this is where you want to go. It's hard to believe that a brick and mortar like this place still exists, but it's wonderful that it does!

I was after a somewhat obscure NiCad battery for an old RC car that I was giving to my nephew. Lots of staff available and I was served right away. At first we determined that I might need a newer battery and charger (which was more expensive that I had planned) but one of the guys said 'let me try to find a NiCad for you' and he did. It ended up costing me much less than the first option but the goodwill to me as a customer was priceless. They solved my problem and saved me money. Called into a couple of stores in Toronto, LA, New York and Las Vegas looking for a charizard. I…read morespoke to Christian who had a base set 1999 charizard. This card was the gold among kids of my age when I was younger and I remember only two kids had a charizard. This was when Pokémon was booming more so than it is now with"Pokémon Go". Christian, the owner, passed the phone to Brian (the Pokémon expert) to inform me that they only had one charizard left. This wasn't a sales tactic but rather when I arrived in store, they did only have one charizard. The charizard is exactly how they described it over the phone pristine condition. Off the record, they said it'd probably grade at a 9. Drove over to look at it. Parking is tight because of the mall and all the other businesses around it (Shoppers Drug Mart, Popeyes, GoodLife) it's in the mall entrance beside Popeyes. The only downfall of the mall is it doesn't have automatic doors but that didn't stop me from looking at this piece of amazing art. Went to see it and Christian was real nice. Took pictures, was very reasonable and took my concerns to heart (tried calling in the entire day, and voiced my concerns to him, he IMMEDIATELY took action and took care of the problem) this is a place I'd definitely buy from again, and Christian also offered to get it PSA/Beckett graded for me. He stated there are three prices but recommended I get the cheapest one because it's the exact same thing, only getting it graded quick costs more. So if you have the money, go for the most expensive option, but if you want to save any money, wait a little while more and that's what he'd recommend. I'd say he's pretty honest and personable! He seems to know all his customers on a first name basis and this is a place I would've loved to hang out at a kid!!! 4/5 (prior to grading - I think I'll go back and get it graded and re-review) Would recommend to everyone! - Yelp King of Toronto (check that, I'm Yelp King hard af to reach)

Legends has extremely competitive pricing (Games Workshop stuff usually 20% off!) and a very nice selection of board games, comic books, cards, minatures, and geeky merch (I definitely picked up a Rainbow Dash mug on my last visit here.) If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Customer service here is quite friendly. I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out Legends if you are in/around the Vaughan area to get your geek on :).

The first time I came, I was still fairly new to tabletop gaming so I wasn't sure what to get. I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. The store is located in the back of the plaza so it's difficult to find if you don't know where to look.

Now that Wed, I had them cancel the add on to my order and send what I had originally ordered, its now Monday and they have charged my card for the add on that was canceled, they have not refunded me for the canceled order, I have received no emails or updates on my order status and I haven't received my order, just finding out, the sent pick of the XpressMusic 2 day shipping label, its been 4 days so I called canada post to find out they changed the shipping type to 10 to 20 day after, cant believe this stuff

The place is also nice and open, orderly and clean. Staff are super friendly. I've been here a couple times, and if I'm honest I haven't made any notable purchases. However, my son has been fascinated with trains from the earliest age - so he's almost reached heaven when he enters. The have two running model train layouts. One of them being a bit more oriented for children, and the other one the more typical heavily detailed layouts which would've required countless hours to complete. The staff are happy to getting the start the trains and it's a special moment for my son. It's not a cheap hobby, and the prices may surprise you if you aren't familiar, but I'm sure anyone involved in it is already aware of this. They do however have a few things scaled down in price, and they sell some of the wooden Thomas trains as well. Good on them for supplying and supporting a unique market, and coming from a family with trains in our legacy, I hope they continue strong.

I went into the store and let the associate know that I had an item I ordered waiting for me and they gave me my order almost instantly . I told the staff that I had been looking for this item for a while and they let me know that they had another location extremely close may have some more and they offered to phone them to ask them to put it on hold for me. They called and when I got to the other location the item was waiting for me behind the cash. Both stores have great service and a wide array of items.
