Easily one of my favourite places to nerd out at. And DEFINITELY my favourite place to nerd out at in the GTA. Legends has extremely competitive pricing (Games Workshop stuff usually 20% off!) and a very nice selection of board games, comic books, cards, minatures, and geeky merch (I definitely picked up a Rainbow Dash mug on my last visit here.) If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Legends is my go-to store for all my tabletop games. It's so close to my house that it's almost dangerous. The first time I came here I left with 3 games! It's like Walmart lol you go in for one thing and leave with 10. There's a pretty good selection of board games, both popular and obscure. If they don't have what you're looking for they'll gladly order it for you and give you a call when it comes in. The guys who work there are all very nice and very knowledgeable. The first time I came, I was still fairly new to tabletop gaming so I wasn't sure what to get. I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. My go-to hobby store for board games, D&D, dice, Warhammer 40k and paints. They have a decent selection of each hobby, and anything they don't have on the shelves you can ask the staff to order for you. Friendly staff and they have lots of regulars who frequent the place and play games in the Very Spacious gaming area. I also like that they have private gaming rooms if you want to play RPG's without onlookers or distractions. Price wise they are quite good, and have sales now and then. I've been shopping from these gents since back in the days at Sci-Fi World (and Cafe!) on Steeles & Dufferin. Long time customer. read more

This place is hard to find -- it's BEHIND the giant white warehouse-looking building around the corner from where Google Maps will tell you to go. When you do find it, you'll be pleasantly greeted by what looks like nothing so much as a crammed, somewhat drab retail space chock full of a supremely cool collection of toys, books, games, comic books, and everything in between. I wandered around for ages before I finally had to make my selection and leave due to time. Eminently browsable, very friendly staff, but they need signage on the street and the interior is crying out desperately for a remodel. read more

This is such an awesome hobby store! They have got everything that you could want here, from figures/collectibles and board games, to trading cards and comics! A little hard to find, as it is towards the back of the lot that's shown on maps, but once you know that, you just have to follow the parking lot. Not as large inside as the photo may suggest, but lots of stuff inside to compensate. They had a huge selection of board games, sorted alphabetically for easy navigation, and a bunch of Pop! Vinyls that I haven't seem anywhere else. If you're ever looking for a harder to find collectible, you may have a better chance to find it here! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the Vaughan Mills area, as it is just down the street! I would recommend it if you're into any hobbies! read more

Legends Warehouse is the best Comics Shop in Vaughan, in my opinion. They have an awesome selection of comics, Graphic Novels and Role-playing books. Not to mention they have a gamer's area with Tournaments and the like. I personally am a Star Wars fan and go there for their great selection of figures, and as a member enjoy picking up my pulled comics. The owner - John - is very friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. The staff members - Dave and Chris - are also knowledgeable when it comes to comics, figures and miniatures. I am not a gamer, but my boyfriend showed me this place and it actually looks pretty cool. Like a big toy store, there are lots of models, comic books and board games. Actually, I like to play board games, and want to try some of the newer ones because they look pretty cool. They have a large selection of board games, and an area in the back with tables and chairs for you to play with your friends. The guys behind the counter seem nice, I didn't talk to them, but they look like cool guys and the other customers chat with them a lot. read more

I bring the vast majority of comic book related business to Legends. They do the most important aspect of any business right and that is pricing. I been collecting comic books for over ten years and this is the only store in Great Toronto Area (that I am aware off) that gives 20% off US cover price along with a free bag and board to regulars. When it comes to comics Legends is the leader when compared to the other two shops in Vaughan. They bring in all of the mainstream titles and a few of the more popular independents. Their subscription service is superb, my orders are always done correctly the staff provides recommendations based on my taste. At the same time, when I forget to order a fast selling issue, they bring it from the back and sell it to me at cover price (when the going rate is triple).
