Legends has extremely competitive pricing (Games Workshop stuff usually 20% off!) and a very nice selection of board games, comic books, cards, minatures, and geeky merch (I definitely picked up a Rainbow Dash mug on my last visit here.) If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Customer service here is quite friendly. I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out Legends if you are in/around the Vaughan area to get your geek on :).

It's like Walmart lol you go in for one thing and leave with 10. There's a pretty good selection of board games, both popular and obscure. If they don't have what you're looking for they'll gladly order it for you and give you a call when it comes in. The guys who work there are all very nice and very knowledgeable. The first time I came, I was still fairly new to tabletop gaming so I wasn't sure what to get. I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. The store is located in the back of the plaza so it's difficult to find if you don't know where to look.

Many times I have been in this store when complete strangers come in off the street. They've never…read morebought anything from here but they all have some old comics that they are convinced are worth a fortune and that the owner has an unlimited budget to purchase everything at top dollar. Then when they don't get what they expect they get upset. Here's the deal. Nobody wants back issues unless they are rare and in very good condition. Your comics are basically worthless to collectors. Buy them to enjoy them. They are not an investment. Stop thinking that stores want to buy your stuff.

I have recently struck up a few conversations with one of the staff members, who are all awesome people IMO. The only piece of criticism that I can give this store, is that they need more spectacular spider-man merchandise. That sounds silly, but it is a beloved cartoon for many of my generation, and my friend and I agree that it would be awesome to see some of that in the store. After a very quick search online and quick call to a comic book store we have frequently visited we have determined the comic was worth at best $10. Feeling disappointed I gathered up the book and drove to Dr comics, politely I had asked for return. I was denied and told it was store policy. After explaining that my mother was unsure of what she was buying and she had only left the store 20 minutes ago I thought for sure we would be in luck, however no dice. They did offer a exchange but after checking a few more prices we would only be overpaying for something else. So I asked again for a return and still no. It was piles and piles and shelves full of comics from marvel to mangas and also a lot of Funko Pop toys. They even have a Rugrats comic... if ya know, ya know (hello 90's kid). Apparently they don't have live inventory on their website but you can come in and ask for help. The staff/owner was really friendly and welcoming. They will be having a Black Friday sale so if you're looking to score a deal, be sure to check it out soon. Now the store could be a bit more organized... but with so many comics, I don't know how else they can improve it. They also have a lot of dust in some of their shelves but the comics are fine.
