I did not check all the discs and I managed to loose the receipt...my mistake. Set is missing 2 discs. Went back, she remembered me. She was agreeable to getting the discs for me. She said she'd call in a week. It's been 2. I called to check up and she still does not have the discs. I mentioned I was almost at Season 10 (2 discs missing) and that if she is not able to get them, then I would like a refund at least for the cost of me buying season 10 on Amazon (2 day delivery, $15.00). Mid sentence she said no refund and hung up on me. As the old saying goes...buyer beware and be smarter than I was. This place, this owner, lacks integrity and has proven that, no matter where you live or how old they are, these kind of people will always exist. You have now lost 4 customers within my household and I will make sure to share my story with the many people I know in Orillia and elsewhere. Good job on your customer service skills and using your judgement and mathematical skills at losing, at most $15.00 by getting the disks for me, new or used. Hopefully, a few people will read this review and stay clear of such an establishment. Price of season 10 on Amazon, $15.00. Cost of integrity...priceless. Elizabeth Power

Went here to sell some gold with my sister. Before I went I did my homework, checked spot prices…read moreand sorted all the gold into 14K and 10K with a jewelers loop. I weighed and calculated the price I would like to get and the min price I would accept based on reasonable profit margin, FULLY expecting I would have to haggle price. Top price you can expect for gold (unless premium brand gold Tiffany's etc or rare vintage pieces) is 80% of melt value. I inspected each piece with a jewelers loop to find markings. We showed up right around closing time (they close at two) but they had a gent in the room already. I was greeted by the father and told they would take us as soon as they finished up (around 15 minutes,) if we wanted to wait. We were taken in, VERY courteous, polite, friendly and professional. I was impressed the son could recognize most of the pieces without a jewelers loop and those few he couldn't he put through a spectrometer and got confirmation instantly. The whole process took approximately 15 minutes... and we had a lot of pieces. In the end their offer was EXACTLY (within a few dollars) of the top price I expected to get. Paid cash on the spot. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that if you want a very positive experience... especially if you are not educated on value, to see this father and son team. I would not hesitate to trust their assessment of gold value now even if I didn't know a thing about it. If I could give a 10 star rating out of 5 I would.

However after the experience was over I can honestly say that definitely works in your favour! The man who greeted me was very polite and he provided an excellent price for the gold that I presented to him. I can say this because a couple of weeks ago I brought the same jewelry to a jewelry store in Vaughan and almost got ripped off as they offered me half the price for the same set of gold jewelry. The man at the Top Gold Exchange also double checked his calculations to ensure accuracy, and then asked me to count the cash that he gave me on the spot to make sure he didn't make a mistake. Very honest, excellent rate, and a very nice person!! This is the place to go first if you want to sell your jewelry.

Expect to receive less in person than the website says you will. They listed buying at 199 a gram,…read morehowever I only received 483 per 2.5g assayed Valcambi Suisse bars. I feel like this was a rather shady business practice, when I asked why the price was lower they said they were splitting the price they pay for the 5g bar, because for some reason they don't have 2.5 grams bars listed. The 5 gram was 957, divided by 2 for 483, however the 1g at 197 multiplied by 2.5 is 492. If this business was honest, the price I would have received would have been somewhere in the middle. However this company seems to be doing the most to pay you the least. Be careful when dealing with this company.
