It was piles and piles and shelves full of comics from marvel to mangas and also a lot of Funko Pop toys. They even have a Rugrats comic... if ya know, ya know (hello 90's kid). Apparently they don't have live inventory on their website but you can come in and ask for help. The staff/owner was really friendly and welcoming. They will be having a Black Friday sale so if you're looking to score a deal, be sure to check it out soon. Now the store could be a bit more organized... but with so many comics, I don't know how else they can improve it. They also have a lot of dust in some of their shelves but the comics are fine.

Cool collectibles!…read more From the outside you may not be privy to the collectible treasures located inside. They have a great selection of the latest comics up front and boxes in the back of older ones. They also have a beat on some harder to find or newer items like collaborations between Scooby Doo & Transformers or GI Joe & Ninja Turtles. I picked up a latter collaboration which I had not yet seen in the States. Heroes world is a little off the beaten path, it isn't located in one of the busier strip malls but it's close enough. Staff, especially the owner was really friendly and helpful. They can ship your items too if you live in Canada.

There's a whole section for manga (I didn't see Haikyu!!), a section for fiction series for kids aged 9-12, a variety of activity kits, greeting cards near the front, magazines on the opposite wall, and so much more. I had gone to pick up an order that had been shipped to the store. One employee at the register was helping a customer, and where to line up was not clear, so I stood at one end. The employee that I encountered wasn't very friendly, so my overall impression of my experience was not good.

This is a pretty huge Chapters or Indigo or whatever the name is these days. It's clean and all the staff are really friendly but not follow you around, in your face kinda friendly. I don't need friends like that. That is what family is for :) I also love to browse all the little gadgets and accessories section. They have some cute Kate Spade items, as well as candles, jewellery, kitchen items. They have some really nice engraved (initials in script form) cheeseboards as well as gold lettered initial mugs. Makes great gifts and gives it that personal touch. I also bought a gorgeous faux fur scarf. I'm in love every time I wear it. I love their huge discount section as I love to read and buy books often. But I also like to pay my mortgage and eat so I can have both my cake and eat it as well here! But I can also go to Starbucks if I really really want some cake too. So technically I can have it ALL!

Legends has extremely competitive pricing (Games Workshop stuff usually 20% off!) and a very nice selection of board games, comic books, cards, minatures, and geeky merch (I definitely picked up a Rainbow Dash mug on my last visit here.) If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Customer service here is quite friendly. I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out Legends if you are in/around the Vaughan area to get your geek on :).

It's like Walmart lol you go in for one thing and leave with 10. There's a pretty good selection of board games, both popular and obscure. If they don't have what you're looking for they'll gladly order it for you and give you a call when it comes in. The guys who work there are all very nice and very knowledgeable. The first time I came, I was still fairly new to tabletop gaming so I wasn't sure what to get. I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. The store is located in the back of the plaza so it's difficult to find if you don't know where to look.

The teacher did not provide any of the author's names. The kindly proprietor listened to the name of the book, then he rhymes off the author and looked together with us in the right place in this adorable crammed to the brim shop. We found most of what we wanted at a fraction of the cost of new. Some of the books were adorably aged. We will definitely return at a later date. Amazing service, great shop.

It is great if you are looking for some popular old novels, like a whole series of Stephen King books, or Black Daggers Brotherhood. I bought a few paperback at $4 each. I plan to bypass hardcover novels from now on, so my collection has resale value.

For future yelp explorers or customers, this spot offers a unique purchase and credit program whereby you can purchase a book and depending on it's age, condition and popularity can be sold back to the store at a few dollars off what you bought it for. Monies made on books sold back to the store are attained by way of in store credit - and ingenious business model to keep customers flowing in and out while retaining money in store.
