By far the best GW location I have ever been to. The manager (Tim) is friendly, welcoming, and…read moremakes you feel like a valued guest as well as a friend. The first time I entered this location I was incredibly nervous as the shop was very busy. Tim understood that and still took the time to answer any and all questions I had. I highly recommend this location. The players here are all very welcoming and kind as well.

This is a Games Workshop Brand store, they sell Fantasy and Sci-Fi miniatures for gaming as well as…read morepaints and hobby tools. before I start this review I would like to say that I used to enjoy coming here a few months ago, everyone was friendly and the store was really clean. that changed a few months ago. The shop has a whole range of tools for modeling and painting under the "Citadel" brand. while they are decent tools, they are incredibly expensive for what they are. a pair of clippers will run you 40$ without tax, paints will cost you about 6$ a pot for about 12ml of actual paint, and a small bottle of plastic glue is about 10$. the pricing for tools and glue is very expensive and for this reasons i looked for alternatives. i found cheaper tools and glue for a fraction of the price, so i could buy more miniatures. This did not please GW, the manager of the store asked me to leave for having a bottle plastic glue out that wasn't "Citadel" brand. even though every time I'm in there I buy something to support the store. i found the store to be trying to rope in newer customers and push people away from there store who have experience in models and have their own tools. The store has completely turned me off from buying any Citadel products and has off put me from continuing to support their brand. I do NOT recommend newer customers or parents researching this hobby for their children go into a Game Workshop store, The way they treat their Customers is horrible, they drive out anyone looking to save a bit of money and demand that you be loyal only to them. if you wish to play Warhammer then I highly recommend looking for a Independent retailer. they are MUCH better then Corporate Games Workshop stores.

I was very impressed with the check out staff and manager at Michaels in Burlington's Power Centre…read moreon Brant St. The Manager (Kate) was very helpful on both of my visits to the store on January 21st. Kate was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I had to return later in the day to make an exchange where I met Linda who processed the return and purchase of a new item. Linda had excellent customer service skills, and even helped with better pricing on my purchase. She was engaging, positive and professional. Kate took back the product that did not work for us and directed me to a more appropriate product to suit my needs. Thank you, Kate and Linda for your professionalism and excellent customer service today. Respectfully Mark

I'm so surprised at how good the deals are at Michaels pre-Christmas! The Christmas trees were all…read moreon sale and they were pretty too. We had just come from The Bay where the prices of trees were exorbitant. They had affordable options at different price ranges and options with pre-lit trees, flocked trees, and different sizes, although they didn't have any really large ones on display at the time. They had really cute lighting options as well that were all buy one get one free. They were smaller string lights of about 6-10 feet and featured different types of features on the actual bulbs like snowmen, reindeer, and Santa faceplates. They had really neat testers set up in store so you could press a button on a sample string of lights to see what they would look like. The batteries weren't included with these however. There were a ton of other decorations available that were ready to display or ones to customize.
