I went with my aunt/uncle and it took 40mins to get our food and only 4 people dining in! We went back again to give them another try. Food is good! Customer service from servers are fair. The service in general is awful! The wait times are way too long for the amount of people working! It took 7mins to place our orders and then 20mins to get our drinks, which was water! They served us chips and salsa within the first 5mins of being seated by the bartender! 30mins total to get our food. Getting the attention for refills seemed impossible! I would only eat for to go only! If I have to stand up and chase you down then I'm not tipping. I wouldn't eat here if you have to be somewhere on time. The food is very good though. First, I want to say, I used to really love this place, but after a second strike out, it is seriously off my list of Mexican places to eat EVER again. A few weeks ago, we visited Osunas here at the Amar location. Due to their restrictions and inside remodeling, there is only tables outside to sit and eat, which was perfectly fine with us. Everyone placed their order, and during dinner my friend found hair in her ceviche. We quietly let them know, paid our tab and left. Yes, we get it, shit happens. This has never happened before here, so tonight we decided to go back and have our regular meals that we loveD. Well, I'm so so, sad to say, we are done with this establishment. We found ANOTHER hair on one of the plates. At this point, I went to pay the bill, and get out of there, because I'm not ok with a second go around with the uncleanliness and LACK of hygiene! I specifically walked in to look if they had hairnets on, and the cooks and helpers, DO NOT. Enough is enough and I'm disgusted. I will never visit Osunas ever again. Came back as usually food is outstanding. Our service last night was mediocre. Fajitas the (mix) carne asada, chicken & shrimp lacked flavor. Little slivers of meat not looking like carne asada. Server never refilled our salsa & chips although we ate it up pretty quickly. Food took awhile to come out. Disappointed my fajitas were not sizzling. Veggies were basically just freshly sliced & laid on top of the lukewarm skillet. Noticed also a change of their tortilla chips. These appeared to be store bought, again lacked flavor. Obsessed with the salsa at Osuna's! I usually call my order in and pick up. Good parking, easy pick up, great customer service. I always order the Hollenbeck Burrito, it's a must have. Delicious slow cooked pork burrito served wet with a delicious green sauce. But the star is their red salsa. I could literally drink the stuff! I make sure to order a large container to make shredded chicken with the next day. Love this place and you will too! read more

The best authentic Mexican food in our area. We order at least weekly. We've tried almost the entire menu and have no complaints about any dish. The Fideo is a comfort food for us. My boyfriend's family orders from this place a lot whenever they have parties. You know, that big ol' burrito they have here. So I've eaten that plenty of times but I've always wondered what the actual place was like. Fast forward to this past weekend, we didn't know what to eat for dinner - which is often a huge problem for us because we'll sit in the car for 30 mins + trying to figure out. I know, first world problems. Since we were across the street, we decided you know what - lets tackle some hometown bookmarks. There's plenty of parking in this plaza - a little more crowded ever since the gym opened but still shouldn't be a problem. Walking in, we were the only ones inside but then again it was also like, 5:30pm. The lady in front was super sweet and nice. Our server, I forgot his name was ok. He was nice but I felt like he was rushing everything. I went with the steak fajitas and my boyfriend got the Hollenbeck. About 10 or so minutes later, our food comes out piping hot. The steak fajitas was pretty good but they load that sizzling plate up with so much veggies that it was so hard to get things because they'd keep falling off. Way more veggies then meat but I expected that. The tortillas were cold and pretty bad. I was expecting homemade tortillas and they tasted like the ones you can get in the market. My boyfriend enjoyed his huge hollenbeck burrito. I seriously think 2 people can enjoy this thing, its huge. Service was sweet but the food didn't really stand out enough for me to make a return. Tried this place as I had a burrito craving and I was definitely surprised by the Hollenbeck burrito. Definitely not your traditional burrito at all. The way I would describe it is almost like a pozole verde in a burrito. The meat has that same texture and it is very soupy from being in the juices. It's different which doesn't make it bad! It's a massive burrito so if you are hungry this is your spot! Give it a shot to say you did. The real stand out for me is their chips and salsa. So simple but SO delicious! I could drink their salsa it's that great. Also we got a side of arroz con leche for our order and that was a pleasant surprise and it was incredibly good. read more

Only ONE complaint: I live 15 miles from this place, ha! But maybe that's a good thing because I'd be here every other week, hehehehehe. SERVICE: I felt like a movie star, I had 3 different waitresses checking on me and my Sister while we dined in several times. The attractive mature woman that took our order is very nice and was helpful with me being a 1st time customer. AMBIANCE: Very authentically Mexican themed, they even have a tall waterfall that gives a nice soothing sound. If they had music, I don't recall because I was so into my experience aka food, hehehehehe. FOOD: For an appetizer I ordered the Guacamole and had them put chopped serrano chilies in it. They were freshly chopped and popped in my mouth every time I bit into one. The guacamole was freshly/perfectly made. The complimentary red salsa and chips are ON POINT! I'd go back for just the chips & salsa, hehehehehe. The salsa is a tad hot, but not too hot to handle. For my main meal, I ordered the Hollenbeck burrito, which was very delicious and HUGE for the price (I'm NOT complaining). That darn burrito fed me twice days after eating there. It had a good amount of chucks of pork in it, along w/rice & beans but not in abundance, which was perfect. It even had chili verde sauce poured over it, yummers!!!! I also had a lime margarita, which wasn't my favorite . . . but hey, I was there for food not booze. It was a tad watered down, ultimately it was perfect for my drive home, unbuzzed. ;) Again, not complaining. For the grand finale: Rice pudding . . . OMG, I wish I would have ordered some to bring home. I did although order some of their delicious Fideo soup to go. I must say, I haven't had such a tasty Fideo soup since my Grandmother made it for me. All I know is next time I visit my Sister who lives 2 blocks from there, I'm going to visit Osuna's again. They had salad, various fruits, various meats, different kinds of prepared tacos (fried & soft), different desserts, agua fresca, etc. I'm actually surprised at one of the previous reviews about them not having any meat. When I went yesterday they had salad, potato salad, fish ceviche, mole, pork salsa verde, chicharron salsa verde, enchiladas, chicken tacos, pork tacos, mini chimichangas, menudo, I THINK it was a plantain taco with meat it in (which was really good), menudo, bunuelos, rice pudding, conchas, cookies, horchata, jello, lemonade, pineapples, cantaloupe, watermelon, eggs, bacon, pancakes. My husband and I were happy with the food and the service, our 5-year old liked the food as well. I think if anything I might not have seen any carne asada. I think it was good for 16.50 per person. We've been coming here for quite a while as it's down the street from my mother-in-law's house. My husband pretty much grew up eating at Osuna's. I was happy with it. read more

Ordered for lunch by Uber. Ranchero Burrito and Asada Torta. Both entrees were huge with dessert, a rice pudding. Burrito lacked in meat , add more meat and down size the size. This burrito will feed two. For the Torta the bottom bum was burnt and that just ruined the taste. Who wants to taste that! Thanks for the chips and pudding! Minor details will improve the quality! I come here quite often and finally writing a review. Can't say enough good things about their food. Their menudo and pozole verde are my favorite. Café de olla is also really good. Our family loves Mexican food while traveling down to drop my son off at Pomona we found Ozuna on yelp it was a little out-of-the-way and my wife commented on the way over I'm sure we passed your Mexican restaurants I'm sure glad we did. This place is very authentic clean I have an amazing menu the staff is super nice and sweet. The Barbacoa was amazing I had the chicken burrito with red sauce and my wife had the Carne Asada taco combo. All three of those entrées came with a delicious Mexican potato soup. I have never tasted that before and it was amazing. I can't see about this place other than it's better than my favorite place back home. Got the 2ft burrito and shared it with my cousins. Not entirely sure how long it was, but it was the height and length of the platter that it came in. The rest of the platter is salad, which covers about half. I'd just gotten off the high of betting Money line on the Bengals against the Chiefs, which had me at the bottom of the rollercoaster just an hour earlier. I was really looking forward to trying their food ! And sadly, I was disappointed. Really wanted to like the food but everything I ordered was beyond terrible. I ordered two plates of enchiladas one with green sauce & chicken and then one red sauce with cheese. They both lacked sauce, they were VERY DRY and the food was cold. The lettuce on the side was old and very watery. The green enchiladas we're not appetizing and could not finish. The horchatas were also watered down and had a very odd taste to them. I came here a Monday morning and was served by a polite young waiter. He gave my friend and I excellent service while she went to eat at the buffet and I ate a burrito bowl that settled really nicely! He was very attentive to our table and made sure that we were comfortable and at home. The shrimp in the was delicious and the spicy cilantro dressing that comes with the bowl is amazing! My friend really enjoyed the buffet as well, she kept going back for more plates! I don't have anything against this place, I just don't think it is good...at all. I've visited twice and the first time I came here (over a year ago), I ordered a burrito (not wet). The carne asada inside was not pleasant. I took two bites and was disappointed by the lack of taste it had. Now that I am of legal drinking age, I gave this place another try. I didn't order food (I learned my lesson) but I did order a margarita. The margarita did not taste like it had alcohol in it at all. If anything, it tasted like straight sweetening syrup. I asked for it to be blended and I don't even know how to describe it but it wasn't even really blended. I ended up taking 4 sips and being done with it. I want to give this place 1 star but I will give it 2 because the servers were kind and helpful, I just personally am not a fan of this place. read more
