Wandered into this restaurant tonight as everywhere else looked a bit too crowded. Of course, it's probably not a great sign that somewhere isn't crowded at 1930 on a Thursday night. The staff here are lovely, the service is good, and it is a nice non cramped space where you can have a quiet conversation. However, the food is really not up to scratch and is massively overpriced given the quality and portion size. I thought my friend's vegetable pasta was completely unappetising although my parmegiana had some flavour. The antipasti were fine but again overpriced. Also £5 for a shot of limoncello...in Italy half the time they give this to you on the house. Neither of us were too keen on the dessert (panna cotta and creme brulee - there was way too much custard depth wise and it just came off as very heavy) I did really like the prosecco though, and the pizzas the table next to us had looked good. This could be a great spot but unfortunately disappointed. read more
