Not happy at all. I live in Chicago and typically use this florist for same day delivery for friends and family in Cincinnati. Having a "go to" florist that you can trust when your states away and want to make your loved ones feel special is so important. I spent almost an hour picking out a special bouquet for my mother's birthday yesterday - from the colors and what they symbolize, to the length, and the base. Upon arrival it turns out the flowers were NOTHING like I ordered and I am heartbroken. I paid a premium for a certain bouquet but what arrived looked like a $30 arrangement from Kroger. I'm extremely disappointed and unfortunately this once "go to" florist has lost my trust. read more

Ok so this little greenhouse/garden center is pretty awesome! And I think it might be my go to every spring from now on! They have about 3-4 greenhouses with almost everything you need to get a garden started. From perennials, to annuals, hanging baskets to some bushes and small trees. And then they also have veggies and fruits and a huge herb selection! They also have a little shed that has some organic and local items in it, like honey. They had a bunch of seed potatoes and onions too. I picked up a pound of each and they're already sprouting! They had about 20 plus different types of tomato plants for you to choose from. And I also managed to get a flat of strawberry plants as well! They have a loyalty program too where you can earn some money off a following trip. The staff wasn't super pushy, and most went about their day, but did help me when I had questions. To me it was worth the drive and the stop to this little place. It was super cute and had a huge selection that even overwhelmed a seasoned gardener like myself!. read more

On Tuesday I ordered pale lavender arrangement in purple vase on funeral home website for my aunt's funeral yesterday, so didn't know name of florist who fulfilled the order. Last nite my cousin sent me pictures of the floral arrangement delivered with card showing this florist's name. The colors of the flowers looked nothing at all like what I ordered. Some flowers were dark purple, roses were dark pink, filler totally different from picture of arrangement I ordered, and the vase was clear, not purple as I ordered. I was very upset that the flowers delivered looked nothing like the arrangement on the funeral home website. I left voice message at the florist number late yesterday evening requesting call back with my phone no, but no call back by mid morning today, which is 3 hours behind the florist location. So called florist shop, owners not there, requested call back, explained my issues with flowers delivered. Got email from owner asking me to send her email about this, so I sent her email requesting she call me back with my phone no. She did call me back & emphasized I got a full refund, which I never asked for. I tried desperately to explain why I was upset with how the flowers were not what I ordered. She never let me finish a sentence before she continually interrupted me, talked over me, wouldn't allow me to ask questions. She talked so fast & mentioned another company I never heard of. I recently had a stroke affecting my hearing & right hand & my handwriting, as I was trying to take notes. She gave a great sigh & rudely asked what do I want, so I said first that I have had recent stroke so could she please stop talking over me & interrupting me. She then stated that she feels disrespected & that she was going to get off the phone now & she hung up on me. I am late 70's, disabled & a very polite customer......I am the one that has been disrespected!!!!!! Need I say more?????? read more

This place was so weird. I pull up and two employees are close working without masks. They were having a good time until I showed up. Suddenly the female employee became hyper vigilant about social distancing to the point she was being rude. There were no other customers present. It obviously didn't stop her from taking my money. It was a terrible customer service experience on my end. I'd never go back. The young lady complained about how long she had to work and was rude to my 6 yr old son as well. Who doesn't love surprise flowers from the parents on her birthday?! My out-of-town mother happened upon this place through a google search of florists close to my work. I can't speak to the service/price, but I am going to say that the fresh floral arrangement lasted nearly two weeks! (Not every single flower, but still, it looked great!) The fact that the delivery service found my office also speaks well of this place-we're hard to find if you know what you're looking for. Definitely a place that's now on my radar. read more

Rude service. Yes, we are aware of social distancing. Was that the reason you had my partner social distance or because of skin color? When it was time to pay, you didn't have an issue with me at the counter 2 feet away from you. And, I asked how to take care of the plant I just bought and was told to go on line and look it up. We used Osterbrock for our wedding and would NOT recommend them. The communication was terrible from the start. Eventually they picked up their game UNTIL the day of the wedding when they were supposed to deliver all of the bouquets and boutonnières to us by noon before we left for pictures and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!!! A family friend had to go pick them up from the florist for us because they were running late & not done (UNACCEPTABLE) Unnecessary stress caused on the day of the wedding as we almost had zero flowers for any pictures. If it weren't for a friend going to pick them up, who knows if/ when they would ever show up with the flowers. Truly disappointing and an all around terrible experience. Would not recommend them to any bride as I would hate for this to happen to you. read more

Visiting this Greenhouse was an interesting experience. It seems to be a small operation. I saw their sign from the road and pulled onto what looked to be someone's drive way. You see some green houses in back but no clear signage for parking or entry to the greenhouse so I just randomly parked and walked in the only place that looked like it had plants (it is the end of Feb so not much going on right now). I walked a round for a few minutes before I saw anybody. They very pleasantly asked if I needed help and got the answers I was looking for. I would like to give them a better chance when plants and flowers are actually in season. It would probably be more welcoming. read more

I called the week before my uncle's funeral to order an arrangement to be displayed at the funeral home. It was to represent his side of the family. Only specifications were: male, funeral, not Christmas. It was to be placed on a pedestal next to the casket. Paid $100. Barb sent me a picture. I think (as do all my friends) that it is the ugliest flower arrangement I have ever seen. Especially for a funeral. I am very embarrassed and had to apologize to my cousin. read more

First time receiving flowers from this florist. Very , very disappointed in delivering and employee concern. I received a nice vase of flowers on Friday May 11 from the birthday from my daughter. I came home to the vase of flowers tipped over and no water in vase. Temps were in the 80's. Some of the flowers were already dead. Daughter called and expressed disappointment. Employee was sorry and would send new flowers on Sunday May 13th. Flowers were delivered and also laying over with about an inch of water. Also flowers were full of ants and I of course brought them in my house. Both times flowers were in vase only in plain view of busy road. Was told they were be placed in a different place when redelivered . They were not. I called and expressed my dissatisfaction and basically blown off by same person my daughter spoke to day before. Gave me excuses about using temporary drivers with the holiday. She implied I was trying to get feee flowers. Her words to me were " you are the first person to go have this problem " I her last words t9 me were I don't know what you want me to do. My concern was to let her know the delivery was unsatisfactory both times. I am to ass7me she doesn't care. So beware if you place an online order and this is the company that gets your business. Heather provided the floral wreath for my father's military funeral in March. I could not have asked for a more patient florist who LISTENED and went out of her way to make sure we had the very specific arrangement my dad wanted. Because the flowers were in a wreath and each represented a family member, she even included individual flowers for the guests to take home. Because this is the florist associated with the funeral home my dad's family used, she went out of her way to make sure we got a floral arrangement that was worth the cost (lots of carnations!). I will be returning shortly to get a bouquet to put on his grave for Memorial Day! I cannot thank you enough for easing that burden on our hearts. read more

My fiancee and I have been having a difficult time reaching a particular vendor in the Cincinnati area. We thought that sending flowers would be a great way to finally get their attention and to jumpstart the conversations we needed to finish with them. I'd never used Osterbrock before. I called, and Barb was extremely helpful. Could they create an arrange in the $25 range? Sure, no problem. Could they handwrite a lengthy note to go along with the flowers? Sure, just email what you want it to say. Can you make sure they're hand-delivered? No problem, it's on the way home for me anyway. I'll call you to let you know what happened. HORRIBLE customer service and a poor excuse for an arrangement. Will be getting a refund! My husband ordered a dozen roses for me for Valentine's Day through FTD to be delivered at my work on Feb 13th. Around 3:20 they called my husband, saying they didn't know where I was located. In the past, I have had florist call me and leave voicemails letting me know they were arriving. This did not happen with this company. After my husband had been on the phone for hours, he finally arranged for them to be delivered at our house. The vase on the arrangement was chipped. The flowers were droopy and wilted looking. The greenery around it was thrown together and over all really just sucked. Most of the roses were cut one length so I couldn't even arrange it myself. An arrangement from Kroger looks better than this. When I called I was treated with horrible customer service and unprofessionalism. I have spoken with angry customers before, and would have never acted the way that this business did. I will never ever use them again, and I don't suggest that anyone else does either! read more
