Prominence Medicare required a $40 copay for the initial evaluation ($10/PT) and pre approved 16 visits. I had to suspend PT due to lower back pain and Dr requiring lumbar injections prior to an ablation therapy appointment and requested 6 weeks after ablation before resuming PT. Premiere closed my file until I could begin core strengthening PT in the future.

Received a call on Monday and was able to get in today.. ( perfect timing )..scheduling staff very professional. Five stars for one of my key decision factors: Efficiency.. and follow up.. Received an email to fill out the forms prior- love that! Hopefully I'll get answer to my long awaiting (five months). shoulder pain.. Of course I'll do an updated review after my visit.. 9/25/26- great visit!.. Brian and staff are attentive and very thorough.. Discovered I have an impingement .. I appreciate the knowledge and the instruction which I will be practicing at home or away from therapy. I'll be back in a few weeks!

And, they always made sure that I was using the correct weights, bands, or machine that would best strengthen my shoulder while doing their best to guard against any possible reinjury. He Lady with the purple hair was so unprofessional, talking loudly to her kid on the phone, while patients waited for her finish. She speaks loudly about her personal life.. I had emergency surgery last July 13th after I fell down the stairs and broke my hip! I was going to switch from Great Basin Orthopedics, but changed my mind after being called about a bill that was denied by insurance. Girl had no clue about insurance on the phone. It was re-billed by insurance, she should have known that, MY GOD! I went in for an appt. And told the girl at the desk, that I had another appt. Next door at 3 pm, so that gave me an hour to be seen.... At 10 til3 pm, I went up and asked the other that I had to leave, as soon as I got up to the desk, my phone rang and it was SWIFT calling me and said, so sorry you missed your appt., I told him that I HAD BEEN IN THE LOBBY for an hour already, EVIDENTLY the first girl did NOT CHECK ME IN.... OH MY GOD again!!!!! THEY TOOK AN XEAY REALLY FAST, and we ran next door to my cardiologist...OMG!!!! Finished at 4 pm ,ad went back to SWIIFY where I was finally seen. They apologized, but STILL!!! Dr. lilyquist, who was the on call surgeon at NNMC and so, he did my surgery, he put 3 screws in my hip, where I should have hada total hip replacement.... Why is beyond me? Quick FIx I guess.. I am having trouble with screws, they are loose in my hip.. I can feel them when I walk, UGGH!! 6 months later it is still painful.... I went to GBO and saw Dr. Winkle, and he took an X-ray and said that i was 1/2" shorter in my left leg, WHAT????? So I had to go get a prosthetic for my shoes.... SO we go to the hangar clinic and they said I was 3/4" shorter.. MY GOD!! SO they made 2 pairs of my sketch ins , and added height to the left shoe of both pairs! I also bought a pair of crocs that were higher than normal., Hubby shaved off a little bit from the left croc, and I bought regular height crocs for tight foot, WORKS AWESOME! When i saw Dr. Winkle at GBO , he said I would need A Total Hip Replacement within the YEAR! OMG!! I am sooo not happy about that at all, wishing it would have been done in the first place, trusting the Emergency Dr., when I should not have. It cost me $400 out of my pocket for the prostethics, and that just annoys me and should be paid by Swift! I am glad to be back at GBO where the professionalism is amazing and admired! So disappointed in Swift.. When I was at Swift, when I said Lilyquist did my surgery, the Dr.s would chuckle and say Lilyquist?? He is a hand Dr...not a Hip Dr. He was the surgeon on call at NNMC! I really liked him too until he never said I was shorter on the left, and it's sooo obvious in the X-ray!

I went to Healing Hands for continuing PT, following Rotator Cuff Repair Surgery In April…read more (Complete tears of 3 rotator cuff tendons with retraction, torn bicep, and torn labrum...it was a doozy!) Living part time in Houston and Part time near Reno...I had to start with Helping Hands in the middle of my rehab which made me a little nervous. But now I feel lucky for the opportunity. My Concierge therapist in Houston gave me key words to search for an equivalent service in Reno...and I ended up with the best experience yet! "Concierge PT" "Manual Therapy" "out of network PT" were his suggestions. I have had multiple orthopedic issues treated with Pt...preoperative and post op...knee replacement, achilles reconstruction, arthritic spine problems, and now...rotator cuff repair surgery...AND NONE come close to the care I've received from Helping Hands clinic and from my stud therapist...Varsha Rao. Manually therapy is worth EvERY penny! No comparison! And I hope someday it is prescribed by Orthopedic surgeons and covered by insurers as a "standard protocol". Until then? I know I need to pay out of pocket for better, faster, and more thorough results.
