Healing Hands Physical Therapy and Body Work in Reno has completely redefined what I thought…read morephysical therapy could be. I've worked with many different PTs over the years--from the Mayo Clinic in Arizona to multiple high-end facilities in Las Vegas--and nothing has come close to the attention to detail, level of personalization, and genuine care I've received from the Healing Hands team. From day one, Jamie and her staff took the time to truly understand *me*--not just my injury. They looked at my whole body, my lifestyle, my stress levels, and my goals, and built a treatment plan that went far beyond the standard "do these exercises and come back next week" model. They combined hands-on work, targeted exercises, and supportive guidance in a way that not only relieved my pain, but actually helped my body heal to the point that I was able to avoid surgery. That is something no other clinic has ever been able to do for me. What really sets Healing Hands apart is their complete mind-body-mental wellness approach. I have never seen anything like this in any medical practice. They don't rush, they listen, they explain what they're doing and why, and they make you feel like a partner in your own recovery. Every visit felt purposeful. I left each session not only feeling physically better, but also more hopeful, calmer, and more confident in my body. I will absolutely be returning for preventative and maintenance care, not just crisis care. I recommend that *everyone* experience Healing Hands' proactive, whole-person approach--especially anyone who has been told they "just need surgery" or feels stuck after trying traditional physical therapy elsewhere. See Jamie and her team first. They will change your perspective on healthcare, give you real hope, and very likely make a meaningful impact on your quality of life.

Last July 2025 I fell down my stairs and broke my left hip, I had to go to the emergency room and a doctor over at Swift Institute was on the Emergency side of it, and replaced my hip with a few screws. Well, the screws were coming out as I walked, so I saw Dr. Winkle back at great basin, and he said you're gonna have to have your hip totally replaced, as the screws are poking out.! I ended up in the hospital a few days after surgery with a stomach problem, and he actually came by to see me, and it had nothing to do with my hip, he just wanted to make sure I was OK! Absolutely incredible Dr, I highly recommend him and any doctor at Great Basin Orthopedics! The best! I needed a nausea medicine, and unbeknownst to Dr. Winkle the medicine he gave me for nausea also helped the stomach problem I was having so I could eat again, no other doctor has ever prescribed that medicine for me and I get these stomach issues a lot, we were really impressed!
