After a few days of troubled breathing and even sitting was uncomfortable, I called 8 Dimensions to schedule an adjustment. Dr. Russ was able to fit me in later that day. I arrived a bit early and was greeted with a warm smile by the front desk staff, and offered hot tea while I filled out the health questionnaire. After meeting with Dr Russ he did a back scan through his computer which showed which areas of my back was out of alignment. Sadly, my back was pretty bad. Dr Russ did his adjustment and immediately I felt better. I returned two days later and he once again did his adjustments and the pain was gone. Now I try to go every 4-6 weeks to maintain the general health of my spine. Moving onto a review of Dr Brook. First off, her kind, soft dementor immediately let's you feel heard and cared for. Her hands are like vessels of magic that facilitate her acupuncture and acupressure expertise. She's alleviated headaches that were going on for days, and has helped replenish energy levels and overall health. She's wonderful! I highly recommend 8 Dimensions to anyone looking for comprehensive, thorough, compassionate healthcare.

Plz remember the old motto ' buyer beware' and please do your due diligence…read more.. Fellow yelp Darrell J. Brought this place to my attention. No it is not rolling on the floor laughing (ROFL) it is actually named after a lady that has a PhD in bio chemistry back in 1920s. I Tried to call and phone went to a strange message. When clicking on the ' make an appointment' apparently the first couple of visits is $180 then drops down to A 50 minute session ' compliance tuneup' for $130 after three visits. The $180 first visit state: 'Walking assessment within may be needed to appropriately treat, please wear appropriate underwear or well-fit shorts and camisole. $180 No tip expected. Cash or check until further notice'. It's difficult to ascertain what is actually offered other than... 'is bodywork that reorganizes your whole connective system from head to toe.' With a claim to feel younger. They make a lot of claims on their site that soft tissue manipulation is needed to stay in alignment. They have a 10 session teaching course that teaches you how to be a Rofler. Other than that, I have no idea what types of credentials are needed/given. I called the Institute and it cost $26,000 for the 6 to 7 month course. And each session gives two weeks off in between, so yeah about $26,000 for four months of training. "This is the gospel of Rolfing: When the body gets working appropriately, the force of gravity can flow through. Then, spontaneously, the body heals itself."

Today I had my first session with Alexi. My nickname for her is Alexi the great! I had been having…read moreissues with my legs, Particularly my Achilles' tendon, calves, hamstrings, and gastrocnemius muscles. I had been seeking treatment via deep tissue massages for a while now. Although deep tissue massages feel good, they also felt extremely "cookie cutter." I knew about Rolfing but had never gone to a Rolfer before. I watched many videos and read up on Rolfing, so I figured it was time to make this happen. Once I arrived, Alexi went over the questionnaire I filled out before showing up and the walking assessment. Alexi noticed a habit in my walking that I did not know I was doing. Alexi then informed me of what she was going to focus on. That was music to my ears. When Alexi began to work on me, I could feel my leg releasing tension; at that point, I knew I had made the correct decision. During the session, Alexi checked on me to ensure I was okay and that the pressure was not too much. At the end of the session, Alexi and I spoke more, and she went into detail about what to expect in the next couple of days, as well as to stay hydrated. After one session, I do feel better. I can not wait to go back for my second, third, and more sessions to correct years of wear and tear. Alexi, I am so happy I chose your practice; keep up the fantastic work, and I will see you soon! Thank you!!!

I've tried explaining my pain and how the meds work or don't work for me. Either the Dr or his PA stand at the door as if they are going to dart as fast as possible. I don't feel as though they genuinely care about the pain I am in. They rush out to grab the injections, back into the room. They poke around your back or hips to find the tender spots and then inject you. That's it, your appointment is over and they are gone! You definitely leave there feeling as though you were wasting their time. I only go because I have to. It would be nice to feel cared for and listened to. Now I am pawned off on another specialist to figure out my meds. Pass the buck is how this is turning out. Meanwhile I get to suffer through my pain and discomfort. One last thing, the receptionists were extremely unfriendly. They were too busy talking about personal things than to address you standing there. I hope one day I won't have to go there anymore!!

I've been seeing Dr. Bruce Witmer at this location for several months. It's located inside the St…read more Mary's Emergency building on Sharlands in Northwest Reno. When they first opened, there was no signage or anything indication that ROC was inside the building, and my poor husband had to wander around inside trying to find the ROC location. It took them over three months to get a sign on the outside of the building indicating that a ROC location was inside. Once we located the ROC office, it was packed. There are two doctors from the Arlington location working out of this new office, and they always seem to be busy. Only one time in the four times I've visited, has my appointment been on time. I usually have to wait at least an hour to see my doctor. I try to make my appointment fairly early in the morning, and the wait is still the same. I would go to another doctor, but I've gotten used to Dr. Witmer and his assistant Kelley, and they know my case, and so, I put up with it. Another problem with this facility is they don't have a table that goes down far enough for me to get a epidural, which my doctor recommended. I'm in a wheelchair, and can't get up onto a normal table. You would think that a brand new facility like this would have a table that would go down far enough, but nope, they don't, so no epidural for me. Found that very disappointing. The rest of the St. Mary's facility looks very new and inviting. They have a women's center, emergency center, senior center, and pharmacy, so it looks like a one-stop shop for the area. It's a little closer to the North Valleys for us, and has much easier parking than the Arlington location, so it makes it easier for us to get in and out. Now, if the wait wasn't so long, this new Northwest location would be perfect!
