If you're looking for top notch quality physical therapy and outstanding customer service, then look no further than Nevada Physical Therapy at the Longley Lane location!!! I've consistently done a little over 10 months of physical therapy rehabilitation (generally two sessions per week) at this location for a completely torn ACL and partially torn meniscus (on both sides) in my right knee due to an old soccer injury in college. I had ACL reconstruction surgery in early March 2019 and was initially on crutches and wore a knee brace through early June 2019. Brian, Brad, and Melissa all helped me along each step of my recovery with their expert knowledge in showing me how to properly execute each exercise and by accommodating to my personal needs and rehab goals. Their office assistant, Allie, is equally amazing in helping to get the most accommodating schedule and payment arrangements for each client (she definitely knows how to deal with the tricky health insurance process). They are all really caring people and truly want to see each client succeed in their recovery journey. During the first four months of my recovery, I had to rely on public para-transit bus service for disabled patrons and each physical therapist (Brian, Brad, and Melissa) and Allie were all extremely accommodating with adjusting to my arrival and departure times for each appointment since oftentimes I would not always be able to arrive on time or had to stay a bit later waiting for my ride home. This tremendously helped my recovery process as I was still able to complete each therapy session without worrying about scheduling for another day and time or have to miss any pre-scheduled appointments.
The office environment is pretty spacious and always kept very clean and comfortable. There are TVs available, music, and a wide variety of exercise equipment and tables for use. It's located inside the Anytime Fitness plaza and has a good amount of parking spaces available. It can be a little tricky to find at first as there's just a one way entry into the plaza (enter by making a right turn off of South McCarran Blvd and make another immediate right turn into the plaza). It can be really busy at times (it's a very popular location!!!), but the staff there do an amazing job of balancing out their time for each client and always ensuring that each individual's needs are being met. It's never boring there and they always seem to keep things fun and light-hearted, creating a very comfortable environment for clients.
It's been 10 months now (Jan 2020) since my surgery and my recovery process has gone much better than expected. Currently, I'm back to running and walking normally again and I definitely owe this to the team at Nevada Physical Therapy. I rarely had any setbacks in my recovery journey by keeping consistent with their exercise program tailored to me (they print out copies of each exercise to further review at home). Although returning back to sports (e.g. soccer) is still another 6 months out for me, I couldn't have found a better location to complete my rehabilitation. Also, Brian previously worked at the ROC (Reno Orthopedic Center) physical therapy department and is well acquainted with my knee doctor (Dr. Uppal; also equally fantastic and an expert surgeon) so you will be in good hands getting top quality care and expert advice. I've previously found this location by chance from looking up physical therapy locations near me on yelp and read very positive reviews from the Nevada Physical Therapy UNR location and took a chance on the Longley Lane location. I didn't even know that any of the staff there knew my knee doctor. So it seems like fate would lead me to this location and I'm glad I took that chance. I have no regrets with my recovery from this location and neither will you! read more
