She was also on the phone, and so I asked for a napkin. She gives me a dirty look and hands me a single napkin. For context, they have three separate options of how you can stuff your pita. Everything was prepared right in front of me, including warming up the meat. My favorite meal is the shrimp fettuccine but not with their creamy sauce, so I asked the waitress for Chef Eidit to make me my favorite Shrimp Fettuccine with red sauce mildly spiced- my absolute favorite. To my surprise she tried to convince me to stay with their standard creamy sauce. I have been traveling for the past 46 years to over 82 countries and never had a proper Chef refuse the challenge to give me what I prefer. The waitress said she will ask the Chef. The meal arrived with ample shrimp and a red sauce. The only shrimp Fettuccine that I could not eat in my whole life. The taste of the sauce was dry and tangy and frankly awful to say the least. I ate the shrimp but had only one fork of the Fettuccine. I am shocked and disappointed at Chef Eidit who could not come up with a proper sauce, such a simple request which I found to be inexcusable. That was my last time to go to LakeHouse with great disappointment. Sorry to say I like the restaurant but this left me with a bad taste I cannot forget. Michael

When we had first walked-in, we were surprised to see how small the restaurant was. However, we then noticed that most of the guests were doing take-out as opposed to dine-in. We were able to find a table for four, which was perfect for us. When we walked-up to the front counter to place our order, we were greeted by a kind hostess, whom took our orders without any issue. We then sat down, and watched as our orders were being prepared. We had to wait about fifteen minutes for all of our meals to be ready. We were surprised to see that the margarita pizza had olives on it, despite not seeing it on the menu. However, we just scooped them off since my children didn't want to eat the olives. For the falafel and kabab wraps, we were surprised to see how large they were, and for only $10.00! The kabab wrap (which I had asked for without onions), had two large pieces of kabab, which filled the wrap, along with the sumac and tomatoes. I enjoyed how tasty the wrap tasted, along with how filling it was. My mother also commented on how delicious the falafel tasted. Considering the prices that we had paid, we certainly go our money's worth! The service was also excellent, as we were brought our wraps directly to our table, while the pizza was placed on the table near to our table. Everyone was kind and considerate, making our stay a pleasant one. There were so many menu items to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down. Will definitely be back to try other items the next time around!

They pump out orders rapidly even when busy. Rarely do they miss ingredients, but rectify those errors. I've dined in more than take out. For a small establishment, it seems to be doing well. Draws in crowds at times. Food is prepped in front of you. Area is clean. Toppings are generous, as are the staff. The washroom is also clean and adjacent to the checkout counter.

We kept going while I checked the address again. Yes , this place is in a tiny strip mall on house lined street. When we arrived no one was in the place but what caught my eye was the gorgeous colourful glass mosaic balls hanging from the ceiling and the beautiful smile of our waitress .She was just so welcoming. She explained the restaurant was run by her family and the cooks are mainly her mother and sister. Food- All I can say is everyone at my table agreed we will be back again the food is that good. Our dishes included 1) Adonis shwarma- chicken with peppers, onions and pineapple. Two of my friends had this dish and I heard so many Mmms throughout the whole meal. 2) I had the lamb stir fry ( the name of the dish escapes me) This dish was mouth watering with thinly sliced lamb, peppers, onions, and pineapple .After I heard my friends were getting pineapple in their shwarma I asked for it to be added to my dish as well. If you like pineapple I highly recommend it. The result is scrumptious. 3) Vegetarian cabbage roll- My vegetarian friend who said since she has become a vegetarian 15 years ago she has never seen a cabbage roll offered for her. She smiled happily as she dove into the dish. The sides that were chosen at our table were the following: 4) fattoush salad- a little vinegary. Not the best I have but freshly made .- I would not pick this side again. 5) greek salad- a better choice 6) hummus- excellent 6) stuffed grape leaves- wonderful flavour. Highly recommended 7) falafel- nice taste. 7) fried potatoes- I would recommend these to anyone. The spices added to these were so full of flavour. I would love how they make them. All of these dishes were accompanied with a garlic sauce that added to everything. We all enjoyed it so much. Service- The waitress was lovely. Her cook sister came out to say hello to people in the restaurant. ( Did I mention that in the time we ate the place filled up with a steady stream of take out patrons) The father and mother of this restaurant were both in hospital because a drunk driver had hit them head on. We heard a lot of the people in the place asking about them. This place has a large following . They were extremely busy and the cook sister still had time to greet the guests as they wished her parents a speedy recovery. Impression- If this place was closer to my home I most definitely be a regular. Since it is a bit of a drive I wont be there often but I will most definitely be back again. .

The Lamb was cooked well, and for $30+ it better be. Chicken Souvlaki was drenched in sauce so of course it tasted good. The Kafta was AWFUL. So dry and bland. Every bite was making my mouth dry. What a bummer. The Lentil soup was ok but I feel like it didn't taste as authentic as other places I have been. It could have used more spices. The potatoes that came with the meals were just ok. They didn't taste good or bad. However the rice that came with the meals was bland and tasteless. No saffron or anything. Literally around the corner from this place is a restaurant called Sidra and it serves waaaaaaay better Shawarma, Lentil Soup, Kafta (tikka), and their meals come with amazingly flavorful rice and garlic potatoes. The citrus topped on the charred cheese also gave it a tangy flavour to have with the soft pita bread. MEDITERRANEO PLATTER - easily feeds 3 people. I especially liked the lamb and chicken. The tzatziki sauce was super thick and went well with the souvlaki. LAMB STEW- so warm & comforting. The tomato, celery, bell pepper & onion flavours all combined incredibly with the tender lamb chunks. PORK TENDERLOIN - lean meat but not dry, again a comforting and flavourful dish. //DESSERTS// Do yourself a favour and don't forget to save room for it.
