When we had first walked-in, we were surprised to see how small the restaurant was. However, we then noticed that most of the guests were doing take-out as opposed to dine-in. We were able to find a table for four, which was perfect for us. When we walked-up to the front counter to place our order, we were greeted by a kind hostess, whom took our orders without any issue. We then sat down, and watched as our orders were being prepared. We had to wait about fifteen minutes for all of our meals to be ready. We were surprised to see that the margarita pizza had olives on it, despite not seeing it on the menu. However, we just scooped them off since my children didn't want to eat the olives. For the falafel and kabab wraps, we were surprised to see how large they were, and for only $10.00! The kabab wrap (which I had asked for without onions), had two large pieces of kabab, which filled the wrap, along with the sumac and tomatoes. I enjoyed how tasty the wrap tasted, along with how filling it was. My mother also commented on how delicious the falafel tasted. Considering the prices that we had paid, we certainly go our money's worth! The service was also excellent, as we were brought our wraps directly to our table, while the pizza was placed on the table near to our table. Everyone was kind and considerate, making our stay a pleasant one. There were so many menu items to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down. Will definitely be back to try other items the next time around!

I like the 4 in 1 which allows you to sample different toppings at once. It's become my most preferred. The bread is doughy but depending on the option(s) picked, it may fall apart. Service is good. They pump out orders rapidly even when busy. Rarely do they miss ingredients, but rectify those errors. I've dined in more than take out. For a small establishment, it seems to be doing well. Draws in crowds at times. Food is prepped in front of you. Area is clean. Toppings are generous, as are the staff. The washroom is also clean and adjacent to the checkout counter.

The bread is so fresh and hot and the cheese just perfect and the zaatar so lemony from the sumac and perfectly crunchy sesame seeds and spices.. just yum!! We decided to come back with friends so we could eat more and try more! So, on the second visit we shared Zaatar with labneh and vegetables, cheese Musakhan and Fatteh. The veggies on the zaatar were olives, tomatoes and cukes. The labneh was nice and the zaatar was good as usual, but I think I missed the classic cheezaatar a bit. The musakhan was a flatbread with chicken and caramelized onions, cheese and slivered almonds and some pomegranate seeds. Very tasty combo. The revelation for me and a dish I'd never tried before was Fatteh - WOW! It's a chickpeas and yogurt mixture with garlic (warm), topped with beef and cashews! Such a rich savory dish with velvety textures that blend perfectly. The portion was very generous as well. A great sharing dish. We ordered Kunafa for dessert, which did take quite a long time to make, but it was prepared fresh. It was cheese enveloped by these crunchy strings of pastry and the whole was soaked in a sweet syrup. Texture was delightful and it was a fabulous end to our meal. This place is bustling. You order at the counter but are served at your table. It's casual but it's not fast food. It's very to see the flatbreads being made right there in the huge oven.

Tarboosh Restaurant wasn't on my radar at all, but after Suresh Doss gave it a hearty…read morerecommendation, we figured we should stop by and check it out. We arrived around noon on a recent Saturday and the place was completely empty. A group of four fairly loud men showed up shortly after us and inexplicably sat at a table near us, but that's obviously not the restaurant's fault. The menu contained plenty of tasty-looking entrees, but I figured I'd grab the dish with the name of the restaurant in it: the Tarboosh ("Combination of shawarma and falafel"). The concoction arrived to the table quite a while later, which was weird considering how empty the joint was, and sure looked impressive. I dove right in. Everything on the plate was tasty but not mind-blowing. The chicken shawarma had a few crispy pieces, which was appreciated, but was mostly unreasonably dry. (The two included sauces helped with that, at least.) The falafel was fresh but strangely light. It didn't really have a strong flavor of anything, really. I enjoyed eating it, but it definitely didn't remind me of traditional falafel. The hummus was creamy but lacking in a strong chickpea flavor (i.e. the concoction was overwhelmed by tahini, essentially). However, once I began eating everything together, I began enjoying everything a lot more. The included bread help, too, even though it was far from the best middle-eastern bread I've ever had. Tarboosh is a mixed bag, that's for sure. If you're in the area, it's worth a try. I don't think I would travel to far to check it out, though.

Our server was so nice and friendly. We got the tabule salad with falafel, fried eggplant, and lamb grill. The salad is kind of a small portion but very tasty. The falafel was the perfect ratio of crispy to stuffing. However, they were mini falafels and I believe the regular order of falafels is bigger. The eggplant was the least enjoyable dish because it was so greasy and had no flavor to it. The lamb was cooked to perfection and so tender and flavorful. The grills are also served with veggies and rice. The portion size was perfect. We'd go back again and try some other hot mezzes.

The hummus was good, definitely above average for hummus, a very classic hummus. Also got some falafel which were also good. Not overly fried, good flavor and consistency to them. Paired well with some hot sauce. The lamb banadura was good too, the lamb itself was perhaps a bit dry and could've been more heavily spiced/seasoned, but the tomato garlic sauce in which it was served was absolutely delicious as were the heavily-seasoned tomatoes in the dish. Everything was well packaged for delivery and it was all pretty good.
