They arrived and new exactly how to get things done - even came prepared with blankets, wraps and extra boxes to make sure my mirrored furniture was moved and delivered safely. What a relief! At the last minute I decided to drop some furniture off at a storage unit and they headed that direction first with no problem. We moved from a two story townhome to a three story townhome this past weekend. I selected Nextop due to the great reviews on Yelp. I called and got the appointed date and paid a $75 holding fee, then got several follow up emails from the moving company which was good, but when you move you better know what day that is happening...lol. I got a call 30 minutes before the movers showed up at 8 AM on Saturday with two trucks and four guys. All were very nice and we walked through the place we were moving from and I showed them what was going. Everything was wrapped up with blankets and shrinkwrap to prevent any damages and the guys all did a great job on the load and unload into the new place. Being that it was three stories some of the stuff going upstairs was not easy, but they handled it all great. The total move was what was quoted and I had bought a discount coupon on Yelp to shave off a couple more bucks. I paid in cash to get the best rate and would recommend that as well. Also make sure you give the guys that move you a decent tip since this is a hard job and they appreciate it. If you need an idea of what to tip they did the move for me in 4.5 hours and I tipped the guys $30 each. I only took pictures of a couple of things because I wanted to stay out of the way and just sat back and watched. I hate moving, but this is the way to go. read more

Company: The company was quick to answer the phone and made sure that we constantly had updates despite us booking them at the last minute. All of the paperwork and procedures went quickly and smoothly while being easy to understand. Movers: We had a team of three and couldn't ask for better quality. They were quick and provided excellent care for our property. They were courteous and provided all of the moving materials free of charge. They also offered to help us pack up and even disassembled and reassembled some of our furniture. Despite several heavy pieces of furniture, I never once heard a complaint or even saw a glimpse of dissatisfaction. Quality: After unpacking, we didn't see damage on any of our property which is better than some movers that I can think of. The fully wrapped all furniture and took the utmost care while moving. Final verdict: I would definitely recommend them to others and use them in the future. Worth it if you're injured, elderly, or just don't want to lift heavy furniture. I hate moving so much. I haaate it. Moving is the worst thing ever (I've done it at least once a year in the past 4 years) and modern technology has done little to assuage the pain. One thing that does help however - good movers. And that is what you can expect from Nextop. I had a fairly simple move to do, all things considered. I moved from one 1-br unit to another 1-br unit in the same complex (walking distance), but both on the 3rd floor with no elevator. There was no way I could lift a couch (or any furniture, let's be honest... I'm weak) down and up and across. I dreaded this day so much but it worked out very well. I did my research of course - yelped 5-6 places and compared quotes and considered Yelp deals/Groupons, etc. Overall, Nextop came out on top (heh) for the move. The whole process was pretty painless and efficient - I called up the owner who I had corresponded with previously, got an estimated quote, paid my deposit, and set up an appointment for the weekend. I paid for 2 but 3 gentlemen arrived on the day of, at no extra cost. They actually called and came earlier than I had expected, which was a huge relief (nothing worse than sitting around a half-packed house for half a day). They were in and out in less than 2 hours (granted, it was a close move and I'm not exactly a packrat... but still) and were very pleasant and professional the whole time. I really appreciated how efficient they were, since my mom had warned me about other businesses who charge by the hour but get little done. These guys never stopped moving until every last item was wrapped, packed, moved, unwrapped, and unpacked. It was truly something to behold. I'm so grateful to them for this service and I think they could really help save your sanity during an already-stressful time. I've been meaning to write this review for a couple of weeks now, but we've been so busy settling in to our new home that the wifey and I haven't managed a spare moment! With all of the stresses that come with selling a house and buying a new one; the DIY projects, adjusting to new commutes, figuring out which light switches do what (still trying to figure all of those out...), the one thing I really, really didn't have to worry about was all of my stuff getting from point A to my new house. Danny, Dima, David, and Daniel from Nextop were amazing. These four guys did such an amazing job, I just can't say enough. We had zero loss or damage with any of our belongings. They managed to move an 80 year old piano for us without any issues. Brand new wood floors at the new place? These guys didn't leave a mark. They took extra precautions to be sure of that. The guy that took my order was direct with the pricing. Giving a straight price, where as all the other places I called had all these extra charges. We hired Nextop Moving for our office move from Sherman Oaks, CA to Valencia, CA few months ago. It was a very complex project. We were moving about 15 offices full of desks, filing cabinets plus 2500 sqft with our products. They handled everything with professionalism and integrity.
