Carlos is an artist with hair! Never had a better haircut and the cut grows out nicely. I can go longer between cuts. Stefan does my Brazilian Blowout which is life changing - manageable hair. I have had keratin and BB before but Stefan takes his time and thus it looks and lasts better than my previous treatments. He also does great color and highlights. Yes, they are expensive but I have never had ask for a redo and my hair looks better for twice as long. Love the cozy quiet atmosphere - and smells great. Nice and talented guys. read more

I just got home from one of the THE most amazing uplifting ego boosting experiences of my life......I was sent to Carlos and Stefan from a very dear friend who has been a longtime customer for a complete hair "do over" to look great for an interview. I have always loved my friend's hair --both color and cut and so I was so excited to turn myself over to them. I asked them to do their "magic"...and allowed their creativitity and experience to show. The outcome: THE BEST COLOR and CUT I have ever had in my life! Not only did they work later than they had planned tonight but they stayed and advised me on make-up (did my face ) and totally pumped me up for the interview tomorrow......yes---as a "too casual Austinite" they were just what I needed to get "my proffessional on" without losing me! I went in yesterday for a pedicure with Cullen, such a great experience! He's very professional and definitely goes out of his way to make sure everything is sanitary, so important these days. The stylists were super friendly and I saw some great hair on the clients leaving when I was on my way out. My pedi was 50$, very reasonable for quality work. read more

Do not visit this salon! I recently moved to Austin and visited Osiris looking for a new colorist. Based on the reviews (from five years ago I now realize) I was incredibly horrified with my entire experience. Not only did Stephan mislead me on pricing, he completely botched what I asked for and refused to negotiate or offer to fix my hair. When I voiced my concerns with the outcome, Stephan and Carlos both began to belittle me and tell me I was wrong about how my hair looked in front of other costumers. Both of these stylists are more concerned with their egos over costumer satisfaction. I do not write this in smite; I write this to warn the next woman who considers trying this salon. read more

I have been Carlos' client for over 25 years. He is the absolute best you'll ever find. He is able to make my very thin hair look thick just by the way he cuts it. His cuts look great when you leave the salon, and they will continue to look great even three months later; I don't know how he does that, but he does. You just won't see a large quantity of reviews about Osiris but it's unlikely you will see a legitimately bad one. This small upscale salon doesn't advertise nor does it need to because their clientele is extremely loyal and end up being all the advertising they need. These guys know hair! Not just great cuts and color, but also helping you zero in on the products that will help your hair look its best. I have seriously never seen anyone leave that salon looking bad. I finally started carrying their business cards in my purse because I get asked so often who does my hair. Their services do cost a little more, but you will go longer between cuts because they grow out so well. Highly recommend! read more

Don't believe they're accepting new clients any longer as Carlos has fallen ill. Used to be one of the best hair cutters in town, although extremely pricey. A shame they've reduced their client base and aren't taking new ones. read more
