Went back to Glenwood's last night for a meal with my parents and boyfriend. We had a very nice…read moredinner and had the calamari, coconut shrimp rolls and butter house biscuits. I'm a bit of a sucker for fried seafood but I do think it was overly coated with breading. Service was good, the food came out timely and hot. I ordered a chicken pot pie (looks small but is a huge portion for me). I'll have to say that's my favorite. It's a beautiful restaurant that would be more of a semi-formal appeal. There are also party rooms in the back where my family and I book to have dinner events.

I haven't been here in about two years, and honestly I was disappointed because I've always had…read morepretty high expectations for this place. Started with the Caesar salad appetizer and it was completely bland. No flavor at all. Then I had the French dip with the thin fries. I specifically asked for the meat to be well done and lean with no fat. The waitress said that wouldn't be a problem, but the sandwich came out not well done, fatty, and pretty tasteless. The horseradish sauce also had almost no flavor whatsoever. I don't even know why they call it horseradish honestly. The au jus seemed weak and watered down too, or maybe just old. Either way, it wasn't good. Overall the meal just felt really off compared to what this restaurant used to be. Maybe it was an off night, I don't know, but it definitely wasn't the experience I expected. Not sure if I'll go back again. Unfortunately in Montgomery County there really aren't that many great options left either.

My son wanted a kids burger with no cheese and extra pickles, they had to remake it because it had cheese and then it came without pickles. We had to get attention to get some finally. I ordered a crab roll which was great and my husband enjoyed his food. He was here for work and we tagged along, so it was nice to have in the hotel.

The Corby Kitchen is a pretty relaxed environment, inside the Marriott in Bethesda. We've had…read moredrinks here before, as well as lunch and dinner. Some of the servers are super great, and some are not so much. When a burger without certain ingredients was ordered, one waiter rudely said "then what do you want on the burger" however, the burger still had plenty of ingredients listed, that the person ordering didn't ask to be left off. It's difficult to order a plain burger with the only burger on the menu has bacon and cheese. The food is standard fare. Burgers, sandwiches, salads. The chef pays attention to allergens. I've tried the shrimp roll, the Caesar salad, and the turkey club. All of these can be made gluten free, although the menu doesn't denote it. Another in my party enjoyed the shrimp tacos and the burger. Being inside the Marriott, it is a little overpriced, but the food is good, just hit or miss with service. Great for a quick bite if you're staying in the Marriott.

It is always perfectly seasoned, tender, and one of those dishes I keep coming back for without hesitation. One thing I really appreciate is the consistency of the menu. Good variety and not too many options. There's meat, veggies, and seafood. I'm uncertain whether they can specifically modify any dishes for vegan. - Quality. Delicious. My trout was nicely filleted, well seasoned (not overly salty), and the skin was extra crispy. It was served over a bed of celery, potatoes, and cauliflower that were tender. Their shoestring fries were not overly salty and were nicely crispy. Their seasonal dish of grilled shrimp with their barley salad was also very flavorful. The shrimp were well-seasoned and a nice texture (i.e., not overly cooked/rubbery). The profiteroles were sweet, but not overly so, and had a nice amount of chocolate sauce drizzled over it. - Service. Excellent. Our waitress was attentive and checked in on us within decent time intervals, refilled our water glasses - Location. Conveniently located within a plaza with many different options. You can walk around and check out other shops, as well. During nice weather, there's supposedly outdoor seating. Their tables don't appear to be able to seat parties in the double digits. - Layout. Inside layout is not decent, but not expansive. There are a fair number of booths and tables. I've been told that the provide outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Given the limited seating, I highly recommend making reservations. What's Not - Acoustics. Terrible inside. We could barely hear the wait staff who talked to us. We had to ask her several times to repeat the information she gave us Sound carries very easily inside, especially when it's full. - Parking. There is parking in the area, but depending on the day you come, it can be difficult to find. Given that I was there during on a Sunday afternoon, it was difficult to find parking. The nearby outdoor lots were all filled and street parking was difficult to find. Fortunately, my friends told me about a parking lot at the nearby Porsche dealership, which was not costly and is well-automated. For about the 2 hours I was there, I paid under $4 total. The Porsche parking lot is also able to read your license plate. - Cost. To be fair, it's going to depend on what you order. When you combine drinks, any seasonal dishes (and the wait staff did not tell us the cost of the seasonal dishes we ordered), and dessert, it's a fair amount. - Reservations. Definitely recommend making reservations, rather than walking in. Final Answer Would be willing to come back here again, but probably not a first choice.

The lack of service just was not acceptable. Bartender was our server. She was not pleasant at all. It was not very busy at all. Food arrived and we had to go to the bar to ask for utensils. We were never given any plates to eat our appetizers. We ordered Cajun Crab Bisque. It had an odd flavor. The crab dip was ok; although the pita chips were good but oily. The crispy wings (garlic habanero) were good but wish they were crisper. A soft drink and iced tea were $5.50 each. I didn't care for the tea flavor so asked for a club soda for the next one, got charged another $4.00. I am just surprised how expensive a soda was. Soda was never listed on the menu but never thought it would've been $5.50. Underwhelmed.
