You need to keep Claire Hinkle singing at Oscar's ALLLLLL the time-she is off the charts INCREDIBLE!!!!! Well worth the drive from Colleyville and will definitely be back the next time she performs!!!!!!!

Typical type of bar with ample seating and a place to lounge. You'll find nice size tv on every corner to catch a sports whatever is playing in that night. Smoking is permitted but the smell wasn't that bad that night. I've heard that there are a lot of fights. My bf came to visit on a Monday night and the bar tender said he already broke 2 fights that night. Either people just can't hold down their temper or bartender are not keeping tabs on how much alcohol a customer had.

I almost don't want to write this review bc I don't want anyone to know about my Secret Sunday brunch place!! There are three things guaranteed at Oscars... 1) you will get a buzz! 2) you will be in a food coma! 3) you will be there for awhile! On Sunday's 11-2 it's bottomless mimosas and all you can eat! The food is pretty great considering how much they are serving! TIP YOU CAN ORDER ALL THE MEAT ON ANY OF THE ENTREES! They only have one waffle iron, so be prepared to wait... But who cares when you have bottomless mimosas!

Oscar's is, at heart, a neighborhood bar (if you figure that the neighborhood in question is the Camp Bowie area), and plays as such: friendly -- folksy even somewhat -- and when I wandered in on a night when the city was expecting a spate of inclement (intense, if brief) weather, I was curious to sort out what this place was all about. There's a small but mostly local (read: Rahr forward) beer selection on tap, but an interesting but not particularly quirky selection of brews happening in the cooler. On this night, the weather was dicey enough that I opted to camp out with a giant Saporro, throw some tunes on the jukebox, and see how things turned out. I really do genuinely hate the current state of the electronic jukebox industry, FWIW, and that's happening here, but I found a few tunes to tide me over until my beer and the weather left. Staff was friendly enough, and I wasn't ordering anything complex, and this night included what appeared to be a team full of bar sponsored weekend warriors. Soccer? Softball? I never asked. But a decent spot nonetheless for a late night local casual sip.

Pleasantly surprised - stopped in after work with some co-workers. Drinks were priced well, service was excellent, and we each tried one of the steak and al pastor street tacos. All said they would go back just for the steak street tacos - they were amazing!!!! They also have a personal pepperoni pizza, but that is the extent of their menu.... so would like to see a few more food options. Our only complaint was the live guitarist....completely changed the vibe because it was way too loud! Great place for a quick drink and some delicious food!

Amazing....Oscar's is more then a bar. I can honestly say I haven't every been to any other pub with the great vibes Oscar's, the staff and visitors give off here. It's like everybody is family at Oscar's. Great prices and vibes...great all around! Stop by on Wednesday for dollar beer night and dollar tacos!!!

The Sunday specials are always worth the trip, and if you go, do yourself a favor and order The Dubliners. It's one of those dishes that defines comfort food done right. And when the Scotch Egg makes an appearance, don't hesitate, it's a must-try classic. Whether you're stopping in for a pint, a hearty meal, or just some good company, this place never misses a beat. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic flavors, great vibes, and consistently excellent service right here in Granbury.

In addition to the food, they offer gluten-free beers and cider. Service was excellent and our server was knowledgeable about food preparation (in terms of allergies). The food is good but I find it extremely rich. The onion rings are fried in a thick batter. The gluten-free gravy tastes amazingly like "regular" gravy. It's really nice to have multiple gluten-free dessert options, even if we rarely have room for dessert. I recommend that you make reservations for holidays when they have specials or if you think it would be busy (ex: St. Patrick's Day). After this visit, I did get extremely sick for about 24 hours after eating here. It might have been the richness of the food not agreeing with me or it might have been something else.

The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.
