What a disappointment! We had read the reviews and really wanted to love this place after moving down the street. We had read mixed reviews. Went in on a Friday night and were greeted with a friendly smile but had to figure out we needed to seat our selves. We had to walk up to the bar to order a drink and ask for a menu after 10 minutes. Had to then return to the bar to order food from the menu of 5 very vague items. When the food came out the flat bread pizza was smothered in pesto sauce. This wasn't stated on the menu or told to us by the waitress. After we waited 10 minutes to find a waitress and ask her about it we were going to ask for a different option since i was allergic to pesto and had no idea that was the pizza option she just told us that they didn't even have tomato sauce, snatched up the pizza and walked away never to return. Another server approached us 15 minutes later, we got our check, paid and left. The experience would have been great if the service was better. If they would have told us what the menu consisted of and if they would have actually checked on us. I have never stood at an empty bar to ask a bartender a question or for a menu for 5 minutes and been completely ignored before. I saw this happen to other patrons while I was there also. I am sad to say i wanted the local pub down the street to be awesome for a late night bite but it really was awful!! Worst experience I have had in years if not ever. read more

I had such a good time here with my girlfriends. It's a nice place to just sit, chat, and order drinks. Christine, our bartender, was amazing!! It's very convenient because my friend lives within walking distance and we were able to enjoy ourselves without worries. There were quite a few people there for a Tuesday night. This one is a gem, honestly, a real down-to-earth gem! I found it through Yelp of course, and I couldn't be happier. We went on Sunday as I read their brunch is a steal. $12 all you can eat brunch and for an additional $4 you get a carafe of mimosas? HELLO? The bartenders knew we weren't regulars, but that didn't stop them from being some of the nicest and most hospitable hosts we'd ever met! My husband made a joke that he was taking a tour of old school beers and proceeded to have Miller High Life, Rolling Rock, Coors original in a can and last but not least, PBR. I opted for the brunch and mimosas myself. The food choices are just as great with waffles, enchiladas, eggs, chilaquiles, etc. We got there late, about 1 pm, but the place was still rocking. Found two seats at the very end of the bar and settled in. It's obvious that they have many regulars and I can see why. Wander off the beaten path to this spot and enjoy the lively atmosphere, music, food, and great owners. You will love it just like we did! read more

Great brunch that is all you can eat and made fresh every plate. They don't really have a kitchen so the plates come out 1 or 2 at a time but it's worth it. You get your food really fast unless you get there late but worth the wait. Staff is friendly and drink prices are good. They have happy hour everyday. Love this bar! read more

Oscar's Pub - Pubs Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Went here last night looking for a drink and a friendly environment. I found neither. I ordered 2 shots and one of the easiest drink to make, a dirty martini. I actually got sick from the martini. It was that bad. I have never had any drink that awful; a glass of Maddog 20/20 would have been delightful in comparison. The inside area was poorly ventilated and overly smoky. I'm not sure why we are still smoking inside in Fort Worth but it's archaic and unhealthy...it's like living in the dark ages. read more

Not a bad place. The drinks are daily prices and it's really close to my work. There really isn't a lot of a crowd so it's pretty easy to get a drink. This may become my regular go-to bar. read more

YUK! pretty much sums it up. The person who made our pizza must have been wearing flannel and had short black hair because we found little fuzzy lint & black hairs in our pizza, yuk!!! The staff in not friendly and the place is so smokey you can barely breath. The beer selection isn't that great either. I recommend skipping this place and going a building over to Bakers Street like we did. We had a much better experience over there, and bonus, no hair in the food! read more

The better half and I frequented Oscar's ALL THE TIME when we lived in FTW and it is truly one of the homiest places I've ever been to. Their snackies and meals are excellent,, seating is comfy and the crowd is really laid back. I sure do miss our outings there. Look forward to going back soon.
