Came here for St. Patty's Day with some friends. Located in Downtown Fort Worth, the place was definitely packed. Nonetheless, we were able to find some seats at the bar towards the back. i've never had Guinness before so that was the obvious choice. I couldn't have asked for a better place first pint. It was poured to perfection. Deep black body with an appropriate amount of a creamy head at the top. Smooth, creamy, balanced. I'm not too much of a beer drinker but it was tasteful mix of roasted barley and chocolate in terms of flavor. If I'm ever in the mood for another pint of Guiness I would definitely come back here. read more

Great time. Good drink specials. Olga behind the bar is a rockstar! It's within walking distance to a few other bars which proved to be a good time too. read more

It was okay . Not really my scene . A friend and I were there for St pattys. I wish I got the name of the bartenders because the first woman who made my drink didn't put any alcohol. and in a rocks glass . I had another woman make my drink second time just to compare and she asked what type of liquor I wanted , if i wanted sugar or salt rim, and gave me a standard margarita glass as opposed to a rocks glass . Crowded small place , I wouldn't return read more

Went in thinking I was going to have a good experience. I did not. Ordered the "downtown burger" it was extremely basic and all I could taste was the cheese. Bun was burnt as well. Not even a side of fries, just a bag of Doritos came with it. At the end when It was time to pay, the bill came to $40 (drinks included) but they actually charged 48 dollars. Very shady. Do not recommend, will not go there again. read more

Love this place! Our bartenders were awesome and funny as hell! Great prices and they know how to pour! Close to everything and short walk to several community theaters and restaurants. Love the ambiance of a small Irish bar and this one fits the bill. read more

One of the bartenders made me some obscure Kirin Caulkin bet and hustled a shot from me. Another bartender was skeptical of my abilities to potty train my cat. And TBH, I don't think either one of them could have made me a classic Irish cocktail like the Blue Hawaiian. Will return. read more

Great Irish pub with very nice bartenders and wide variety of drinks never runs out of your favorite beverages

My kinda place! Small, quaint, dive ish but clean despite the name. Nice ambiance. Not too loud; however, it is only 2:16pm (don't judge me monkey!) read more

Just stopped by for a happy hour drink or two...not too bad, as it did have the normal "pub-stench" that I kinda expected...service was good, music was good and beverages were tasty...what else could you want from your local downtown bar? read more

There's nothing superfluous going on here, it's a bar -- straight to the point. You come here to sit at the bar and have a drink.. that's it and it's great. The bartenders are attentive and friendly, they'll take care of you, and they make a good basic cocktail. You won't find any trendy crafty cocktails, but they do pour lots of fun shots here! It's dark and dingy inside, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean too There are a few TVs and, yep, that's pretty much it! Seems like a cheerful local crowd, the kind of place you stop by after work or after dinner. read more

I'm pretty positive this is my favorite bar in downtown. They've got a ton of liquors that other places don't (like Loopy vodka!) and the bartenders will recommend you shots that are delicious! Ask about a monkey shot... we get it every time! When it's crowded there's not a lot of place to stand or sit, so make sure you get there early to get a seat or a standing spot!! I've also met some of the nicest people in here. The crowd is fun, and everyone wants to have fun. You won't regret coming here for a fun night out in downtown. They are also ranked in Guinness pouring (see my picture) read more

First time I came in the place was dead and the bouncer came up to me and I thought he was going to rip my head off. The second time I came in the bar tender ignored me and when I did manage to get his attention, I would get drink and tip him really well and he would still ignore me. I know working a customer service job sucks and I wouldn't want to deal with people, especially if they have had too much to drink. So I don't know what the solution is. The one star rating is for the bouncer. read more

Just a normal hole in the wall bar. Nothing fancy and nothing special. The staff was great, no complaints

Small, quaint, dark Irish pub on Houston St. We were greeted as soon as we walk in and have our drinks within less than a minute upon sitting. They were still celebrating St. Patrick's when we were there. They had their tables decorated with green and other st. Patrick's decorations. The best part was we get to walk away with free green shirts that they were giving away that night. I'd be back as the ladies here are helpful and attentive with their service. read more

This place is a dump. Dirty dark and dingy. Clean up the place. You might get more customers.

What does it take to be a 'real Irish pub?' Irish decor, solid wood furniture, a friendly, chatty group that draws you into conversation like you're a neighbor, a correct pour of Guinness, and a few other things. Some people complain about the juke box playing all kinds of things, but if you really want Tommy Makem, he's right there. Just put in your money. Same for The Pogues, Flogging Molly, U2, the Chieftains, and on and on. This is a cool place with a great vibe that I ought to visit way more often than I do. Sláinte! read more

It's an Irish pub in every possible way. Not kitschy, or a caricature, just a good pub.

This place seems like a cool spot for local workers to hang out after their shifts, but it has a close-knit following that kind of made me feel like an outsider. There's nothing to do but drink here, unless you count the 2 or 3 video games in the back by the bathroom. The drinks were pretty cheap so that's a bonus. Plus the bartender was really nice and recommended a drink for me based on what I like. We got our buzz on and moved to somewhere else. This is a spot to get cheap drinks and move on... but not very "fun" if you've already out and about! Your basic pub experience. read more

Durty Murphy's Irish Pub - The really nice bartender! - Irish Pub Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Great Downtown Bar. Bartenders pour righteous Drinks and they have Several Beers that you won't find outside of Ireland. Regular after work crowd but you best get here by 9 pm if you want a spot at the Bar during the week and earlier on the weekend. It's cleaner and is kept up better than most of the neighboring bars & clubs in adjacent Sundance Square. Ask for Jennifer if you come in most early evenings . She's efficient, Friendly & really makes you feel like you want to come back. Not a ruff crowd. Adequate TV's to watch your favorite sporting events PLUS there is usually FREE metered parking on the surrounding streets if you just look read more

Most fun we had in Fort Worth. Damned square drunk prices, the owner and staff are funny and friendly, and even the obnoxious hateful drunken whores who stumbled in late were entertaining. Was nice to find a dive bar in the big city. EXCELLENT Guinness pour! Will definitely return. read more

Absolute wonderful time in Fort Worth at the Durty. First time in Tejas for business. Visited the local pubs in the immediate area and this was my absolute favorite. Great selection of local brews on draft, even greater selection of bottled brews. Super friendly bartenders, attentive, and helpful in making sure you have a good boozin experience. Two fridges. One for "domestic, regular stuff" the other - "weird, craft, fancy shit (get a pairing cup and raise your pinkies with it). Seemed like a pub for locals, and they were all equally as friendly. Plenty of seating! Clean. Sick Jukebox music selection... embodies all the great things Tejas is known for. "You'll go to hell, and I'll go Durty Murphys in Fort Worth, Tejas!" Will return when I find myself in DFW! read more

Worst bartender service I've had in awhile. My friends and I had a seat at the bar. We were approached by the bartender and this conversation really happened: Us: Do you have any drink specials? Douchey Bartender: Yea. Us: .... What are they? Douchey Bartender: On the board (pointing to a small ass sign WAY across the bar) Us: We can't see that, can you tell us what they are? Douchey Bartender: They change every night. END of conversation ummmmmm. it's your job to know the drink specials, BARTENDER. so we wallked ourselves to the sign, which didn't even have great specials. we drank our beer and left. never to return. ironically enough, we ran into douchey bartender later that night at a neighboring bar. maybe he was just itching to get off his shift? read more

Irish bar that doesn't make Irish Coffee and doesn't know how to suspend one beer on top of another. No Half and Half's, no All Irish. Did not get to try much else as it took me a while to drink my Guinness that was fully mixed with harp. I wanted to grab a spoon and show them how to suspend two beers but i don't think it would have sunk in. I was hoping at least the drinks would be cheap but they were not. 1 Blue Hawaiian, 1 Margarita made with Don Julio, and that malt of Guinness and Harp = $34 read more

Dark, lots of wood, calls itself an Irish pub. OK, I can dig that. Except for the fact that 90s alt-rock was blaring (and not the Cranberries, mind you, which might have been culturally acceptable) from the speakers, interspersed with hip hop. OK, maybe that's what passes for Irish pub in FoWo. Bar service was decent. Bar tender was nice. I noticed they had ginger beer, decided I'd have a Dark And Stormy, but she didn't know how to make it. Not to worry, she was a good sport as I coached her through. Gotta appreciate the effort. read more

I will fully admit this place isn't exactly a traditional Irish Pub, but has plenty to offer. While it is small I think it gives it more of a Cheer's feeling to it, particularly because of it's loyal group of regulars who are always welcoming to new faces. I do admit it can get quite crowded and smokey on a weekend. A great selection of beers primarily bottled, but there are a variety of domestics and of course Guiness on tap. All the bartenders are top notch and can make nearly anything you request with the exception of blended drinks -this isn't Chili's people!! While they don't have bar snacks, they are not opposed to you bring or even having food delivered. All in all it's a great place to grab a drink and catch up with friends. read more

Great selection of beer , waitress was a little slow but friendly . Other than a good beer and nice staff , it's not really an Irish pub . Michael Jackson music was playing , the crowd was loud . Just a few round tables in the front and the bar for seating and a ledge along the wall for ??? Drinks I guess.
