It was dark lighting with ambient black lights and string lights to keep it dim but you wont struggle to see through. Music was not super loud and the chairs were incredibly comfortable and the whole place was laid out to just have drinks and lounge while talking with friends. No food, which is fine. You have plenty of options on the same block for that. This place is just for drinks and conversation. The seasonal menu was awesome. It iss a bar so they of course can make anything you request if you don't want a specialty cocktail. I got my favorite, a moscow mule but they had a brazilian mule on the specialty menu. I never had that before and ordered it on the spot. It was grapefruit vodka with lime, lots of fine pellett nugget ice (the really good kind) with ginger beer and condensed milk. My god it was great, they told me how they made it because i never saw milk added to this before. It was a delicious limeade that almost was slushy like, creamy and with tangy vodka. Plus they actually served it in a proper copper mug. Best mixed drink ive had period and a cool twist on my favorite standard moscow mule. The place is now going to become a frequent haunt for us. Its very laid back, relaxed, with fantastic ambiance. It doesn't get jammed packed and is not meant to get wild in. We went there around 7pm on a friday night with about 8 or so others already there with their drinks. It did pick up later with 15-20 people in there but still spacious and comfortable. It genuinely was just a nice bar to have drinks and conversations with friends. Nice music that isn't too loud so you can talk with normal voice levels. The bartenders we had were super nice and charismatic. The drinks were not expensive, a respectable 13 bucks for my mule. If you have a bill over 40 dollars they automatically add 20% gratuity to it so keep that in mind when you are tipping. And after 8pm everything had 20% gratuity added to the bill. But the service is so damn good that you will probably still want to tip on top of that anyways. I loved it so much i actually made a yelp account just to post a review. TLDR super cool speakeasy type joint, cool aesthetics and laundry theme. Not loud, good for drinks and chit chat, cool well crafted specialty cocktails that don't break the bank. Good bartenders. Good times. Cozy seats that encourage you to hang out and talk even with folks you haven't met before and dim without being dark lighting. Clean bathroom too and quick charismatic service. Hit this place up for sure even just for the novelty of it. It was a wonderful surprise bar for a date night. Pro tip for this area in general. all paid parking, some place validates some do not, i am unsure if they do here but there is paid parking right out front and also a paid lot literally across the street. But i don't even bother. About a block and a half away northeast is a big shopping complex with a target. i just park there for free and walk. its a short nice walk and doesn't cost 20 bucks.

Went here for my birthday on a Thursday night. I've been here once before with my friends and it…read morewas fine. This night, however, was very different. The club was kind of dead and there weren't that many people. I was having fun with my friend when we decided to get a drink at the bar behind the DJ booth. As we were ordering our shots, I saw a man who was security behind the bar, start running to our side of the bar. I was confused and as I watched him run past us I saw that right next to us, there was a fight going on! I don't know who was fighting or why especially when the club was dead? But there were quite a few people involved. Very ghetto.... Then, as my friend and I went to wait in line for the restroom, we were traumatized. As we were waiting in line for around five minutes, there were a few other girls waiting with us. One of them decides to pick the lock to the bathroom door while we're waiting. I'm watching her pick the lock with her acrylic nail and slowly realizing that whoever is in there will be exposed. As I'm thinking how I would prefer not to see this, she pops the lock and opens the door. Inside the restroom is a male employee (light skin mexican guy, grey shirt with red sleeves, and brown hair/and he wasn't security either) with his pants on the floor. And a woman (mexican lady with blonde hair and a beige dress) on her knees! They were engaging in sexual activities while we were all waiting outside. We all see them and it was disgusting! The male employee reaches for the door with his pants down and closes/locks it again. Then one of the girls who was waiting, starts getting super aggressive and banging on the door and cursing them out from outside. At this point, I need security to do their job. I found some guy and asked him if he could go get security because of what they were doing in the bathroom. He immediately grabs security and a taller Mexican security guard begins banging on the door. They eventually open the door and walk out fully dressed this time... And the the lady was smiling as she walked out, so was the guy. I'm not sure if they thought that it was cute, but it was atrocious. I told them not to be gross to their faces multiple times as they walked by. After speaking to a few of the girls who were waiting in line with us, they mentioned to me that it was allegedly the owner who was in the restroom doing this and that they knew him! (I did later see the man from the restroom with the Mexican security guard who had to bang on the door outside the club after they were closing. So he definitely was some type of employee.) After that, I was more than ready to leave with my friend. On our way out five minutes before closing, we saw multiple police officers waiting outside the club. There was nothing going on other than everyone leaving since it was closing time. But within the time it took for us to cross the street to get to my vehicle people were being arrested! I literally have no clue what happened, but it seems like they were arresting multiple people. (See video) Not sure why there was a fight and freaky activities going on on a Thursday night when the club was dead?? But they need to fire whoever that employee was. He has no shame and is a disgusting loser. If he really is an employee, I really hope they rethink who they hire... Will NOT be back during the week EVER!!!

It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.

I wouldn't say that the place was smoggy by any means, but they definitely weren't averse to it. That said, getting after the tasty stuff is really the way to go here, and though they feature a full bar (lead by Texas distilleries), I only learned last night of their tap philosophy: nothing but US brews on tap, and craft ones at that. So they're not only well curated, but they're a little patriotic about it, which I didn't see coming. That'll keep you thirsty.
