I've gone to their small Kioskin in the parking lot before they moved to their new location and then been to them twice since, and they are really so helpful. This last time, they changed my deadbolt, only to find that they couldn't do my knob with the same key because the number of pins on my special key was not the same size and my Primus lock is only authorized by a different locksmith. They changed it back and did not charge me. Now that I have an issue with other locks, I'm calling them! People worth supporting. read more

This is the best locksmith company by far!!! Got into a jam when my business front door key got stuck in the lock, took it apart in million pieces and bought it to Oscar's and instead of selling me a new lock they walked me thru how to fix it without having to replace the whole thing. They are a very honest and reputable company that will tell you exactly what you need, instead of trying to up charge the job. I really appreciate all their help even when they were so busy!!! Will be my new go to locksmith!!!!! read more

I like to come to Oscar's shop for key duplications. I have used him to make a house key, and extra keys for both my and my husband's cars. His shop is moving North of where he is now, where the Fortune Cookie restaurant is. He always has me check to see if the duplicate keys work. He really knows and loves his trade. Highly recommended. read more

Before I found Oscar, unfortunately I had to deal with a novice locksmith in the area who took 5 hours and still failed to do what he was hired to do. In fact, he managed to make it worse. Oscar to the rescue! One call to this place, and sweet Angie helped schedule the visit. Oscar was in and out so quick, I got whiplash. They're both so kind and nice. I don't even think other locksmiths exist anymore! Thank you Angie and Oscar for all your help. read more

Oscar saved my day! Had an old re-called Schlage lock that had the key stuck in it. Had called around and everyone wanted way too much to get it out. Oscar had moved and I didn't realize he was still in business and I'm forever thankful he is. Pulled out the entire lock, Oscar suggested I take to to Home Depot and ask for a new one. He was right!saved me again! He rekeyed my new lock and made me two more keys all for less the cost of a new lock. Oscar is one amazing locksmith and honest business owner. Wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

I called last week to see if they could match some existing locks in our office for five new doors we just installed. We needed our existing keys to work with the locks. Oscar came in and evaluated what he would need, took some copies of our keys, and then came back a couple days later and installed all of the locks within an hour or so. They all work perfectly and look great! Really good service, communication and quality work. read more

Oscar's Lock & Safe - They did great work. They did it fast. And it was a good price. I would definitely use them again! - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

Best locksmith ever!! When I went by the little shop by McDonald's , and saw they were gone, I had a little panic attack, to my relief I saw that they had only moved to the next shopping center over. They are in corner next to fortune cookies. The village townhomes where I live has been using Oscar forever and I use him also with my own business. I have never had a problem with any key he's made. They go above and beyond excellent customer service. I dread the day they retire. I would never use anyone else for locksmith needs. read more

My boyfriend has done business with Oscar's for 20 years. He has saved our butts numerous times! In particular was.the loss of a customers key (boyfriend is a mechanic). While i was frantically looking on ebay for a replacement lock, my boyfriend removed the lock & took it to Oscar. He returned and said it would be ready in the morning for the unheard of price of $36.00! He has done a key for my Bronco when i bought a used tailgate from Pick a Part, keys for parts bin on a truck. Right now he's researching about a lock for a motorcycle key a friend needs. He doesn't charge you more for doing that & if he did you'd still save money. He's in a little kiosk behind MacDonalds, off Brookhurst & Garfield. You've probably driven by 100 times thinking he copies keys but he is expert at much more. It will be a sad day when he retires. Rarely do you find an individual who is caring, professional, trustworthy, who goes the extra mile while saving you a chunk of change. read more

Oscar came to my rescue when our shop door locking mechanism broke. He was fair and quick. Recommend him to everyone.

This is what small business is all about. An employee had her purse stolen right out of the office with the office keys in it. Drove by the kiosk at one o'clock and we had all 3 doors rekeyed by 3pm. Wonderful to work with and reasonable prices. Don't bother looking, you won't find anyone nicer to work with. read more

Oscar's has been my go to Locksmith for 20 years. Once you find his new location you're set. I remember seeing Oscar at my former workplace many times. Oscar is all over the place in demand. Oscar was outstanding in rekeying my three locks. He is patient and very fair with his prices. I highly recommend Oscar's Lock & Safe.

Oscar's Lock in Fountain Valley, CA, is the BEST, most HONEST, HELPFUL business among any home repair/improvement company! When I had a problem with a lock, after others had charged significant fees just to take a look though they couldn't fix it, and no one, even Amerimax Building Products (the manufacturer) had been able to successfully resolve the issue, Oscar came out and examined the problem without charge, tried several innovative solutions, ordered a part to attempt to solve the problem, and returned with the part. When this part wouldn't fit, he didn't even charge me a dime! In addition, when I asked him about installing a better deadbolt on another door, he informed me that the one I had was excellent and I wouldn't even need that service (when he could have easily deceived me just to get the work.) I HIGHLY recommend this business with great confidence. read more

So glad I found Oscar on Yelp! It's hard to find good people, right. We have a marketing company here in FV. Small company, about 30, so finding someone trustworthy, reliable and professional is key. When I called, the lady on the phone was super helpful, identifying my issues before I hung up. She said Oscar would call back within 30 minutes. He did. He said he'd be right over since he can fit me in. He did. And he forewarned me of any complications before he did the work. His communication and friendliness was excellent. I wish all contractors/vendors could be this accommodating. I would give him 6 (SIX) stars :-)!!! read more

I've known Oscar for many years and have been fortunate and blessed to have him as a great resource and services provider. He is an industry veteran and fully understands master key systems and hardware installations and maintenance. He has done everything from break rooms, front offices, safe installs, cylinder replacements, entry locksets and deadbolts, door mags, panic bars, master key control and all keying and re-keying needs. He has managed all types and scopes of the many jobs we have asked him to do. He is also a consummate professional and always provides warm and friendly service and communications. As a result, I trust him implicitly and would highly recommend him for all locksmith needs both commercial and residential. read more

Its a small booth in the middle of the plaza. Affordable Friendly & fast service. :) Easier to get keys copied here than home depot store.

I found Oscars a year ago and loved the service and price. I had the hardest time remembering the name of the company, but thought that it was off of Brookhurst somewhere. I was so happy when I drove down Brookhurst and spotted the kiosk behind McDonalds near Garfield. I highly recommend Oscars for key making, rekeying, or any locksmith needs that you might have. read more

This was my 2nd time using Oscar's lock service, and 5 stars all the way. Not only is he quick and knowledgeable, but he's a really nice person to work with as well. Friendly service seems to be a lost art, so I'll support any business that keeps a caring attitude. I hope that I don't need lock service and time soon, but if I do, he'll be the first person I call. read more

My son bent our only remaining Subaru key while trying to unlock the car. Oscar was able to make two copies very quickly while I waited. Five minutes and done! Works perfectly and was very inexpensive. He also suggested I use the copies, as the manufacturer's key is made of steel, and the copies are a softer brass. I will keep the bent one as the master for more copies - smart! Call first, as he will be closed for a week starting September 12, 2014. Thanks Oscar! read more
