I can only say good things about my experience at Orozco's-- I called yesterday about getting 4 new tires, they said to head in, no appointment necessary. I drove over the next morning and I was in and out of there within a half hour!! Great quality tires at a fair price. DONT GO HERE PLEASE READ IF YOU DONT WANNA GET SCAMMED, WORTH READING ‼‼ OWNER IS PLAYING HIS CUSTOMERS As you can see i NEVER write reviews because I'm the type of person that doesn't usually say anything even if i didnt have a good experience but my experience at Orozcos Tires was SO BAD and had me frustrated that I had to speak up. I've been going to this tire shop for a few years and I've noticed that every time I go the prices get unreasonably higher and I've constantly had to get the same tires changed. Since i've been going here for a minute I've overlooked that and paid the prices to be easy on them, but my last visit really made me stop coming here. I was riding around in my car and my front right tire went on flat, so my boyfriend took it here they charged him $130 but assured him it was a BRAND NEW tire. So he gives it back to me but after riding in my car not even 20 mins later the SAME tire goes on flat AGAIN I ride back to the tire shop but when I pull up I don't say anything about my car being here earlier so one of the tire changers (an older heavyset guy) comes up and it's so funny to me bc the first thing he says is "your tire is no good it's worn out and there's a bubble in it" ‍ RED FLAG number 1 I was skeptical so I continued to stay silent as he walked back to the office to get me a quote and he comes back and tells me $140. RED FLAG number 2 So now im like "wtf!" And i explained to him that my bf literally just left from this place and had the same tire changed then he goes to the office again then he's gonna lie to my face and tell me "No no we changed the front LEFT tire- the other side" But i know for a fact its my right tire bc i got it on flat the first time Now it's 4 red flags. So i go to the office to talk to, im assuming the owner (older chubby guy with the beard and cane) And he tries to play in my face and convince me the tire was new and that i gotta pay for a new one but his worker slipped up and literally proved that wrong. So i tell him off they replace my tire with another "brand new tire" which looked liked somebody already rode on them but i just said f*** it and left So not only are you guys charging women extra because you guys are assuming we're slow but you tried to overcharge me for a messed up tire claiming it's brand new when your worker literally exposed you guys and said it was no good and theres a bubble in it... And when i try to get it changed again you try to gaslight me and say it was the other tire SMH ‍ You guys are DIRTY and CHEAP and now it's obvious why my tires that i get here never last and i always find myself getting them changed. I see other reviews talking about the (assumed owner beard n cane guy) is "very kind and charming and gives good deals" but it's all a front! He's dishonest and it's obvious he's the one making his employees lie to his customers - the way the first guy kept walking in and out of the office and every time he comes back to me he's telling me some BS. Wish I could give these guys a better rating. They were fast, got me set up with new tires after some serious pothole damage, and even gave me a deal. I came here after hitting a pothole that had bent and cracked my rim beyond repair. Luckily, I had a spare set of rims to switch out to. The tire on the cracked rim had also been damaged beyond repair, since the wheel lost air so fast and the sidewall got chewed up. I drive an AWD car and needed a new set of 4 brand new tires after the damage. They put new tires on my spare set of rims and got my car out of the shop within 30 minutes. Easy and fast, no problem. Well -- soon after, I'm noticing the steering wheel shaking at higher speeds. I think maybe I need an alignment after hitting the pothole. The alignment doesn't fix the issue. Finally, I take it to another tire shop back home for a wheel balance. Sure enough, the wheels were way out of balance. I guess the guys at Orozco's didn't bother to balance the wheels before sending me on my way with 4 brand new tires. I would've been OK with paying extra for balancing. There is just absolutely no scenario where I would want to put on BRAND NEW tires and NOT have my wheels balanced. That just seems like standard procedure to me. They didn't even ask if I wanted them balanced. Might've been a miscommunication or something, but this has me questioning their business practices for sure. If I had gone on driving with the wheels out of balance, it could've led to other, serious problems. read more

They know what they are doing, they do it fast, and they don't try to talk you into anything you don't need. It's a good price, too. We have gotten new tires after getting a busted one, rotated tires, etc. My dad used to go there to get used tires for his truck. So they have options for different budgets. A big shout out to Orozco Tires. They are the last of a kind. My tire light came on, I checked my tires and found one nearly flat. I drove in to Orozco's. They found a nail in the tire and repaired it. All while I waited in my car in their driveway. It took 10 minutes and cost $30. They've been my go-to shop for tires for almost 20 years and would have given 5 stars until recently for fast and affordable service. About 9 months ago, went there with a flat from hitting a curb. They said the tie rod was also damaged and referred to the brother's shop on San Pablo to fix it. A month ago the same tire was flat, my wife brought it in and they said an issue with the tie rod had caused rubbing (apparently unaware that they had supposedly fixed that issue). He quoted her a price for a replacement tire but then put on two new tires and charged double. When she questioned both the extra tire and what had happened with the repair the first time, he first tried to make it sound like a complicated technical issue (and her fault) and then claimed that she didn't have any proof that he or his brother's shop had seen the car before. When we found receipts and a cancelled check, he finally refunded for the new tires. No way to be sure, but we both felt clear that gender played a role in how she was treated. I've referred a number of other people there over the years but will find another place to take our business. read more

Orozcos Tires accepts credit cards for NEW tire sales. Just wanted to clear that up. They seem to have a large selection of used tires and if you're buying those, then yes, those sales are cash only. Young techs keep it moving and get the installations done quickly and air pressure accurately. The older gent knows everything about the tire industry, so if you want to get up to speed about the corporate consolidations and best tires for whatever speed, handling, weather considerations you may have, just ask. Great prices and service. I recommend them strongly. ALSO, since we're in an area where many people have greatly reduced the miles driven (work from home, etc.) definitely do consider giving your business to an independent LOCALLY owned shop. And this place was open on day when my other fave shop in Richmond was closed. Call ahead if you want info on wait time and hours. My wait was less than 10 minutes on a weekend. read more

My tire pressure was dropping on my back tire. I discovered I had driven over a nail and the nail was stuck in there. I looked on Yelp and found this place. I called before stopping in and they said I didn't need to make an appointment- I could just bring my vehicle in. They were able to plug my tire so that air would not leak out of my tire. It's been a few days and the plug seems to be working great and best of all it was only $25.00 for this fix instead of buying a brand new tire. Pros: -fast service -reasonably priced -friendly and trusting staff Cons: -I didn't realize this is a cash only business so bring cash. They don't take credit cards. They trusted me to drive away with my fixed car to go get cash back at my place since I didn't have any money on me. What great guys! read more
