Super, super awesome business. I'm behind on my reviews but this shop deserves my immediate review. My husband's tires were slashed in South San Francisco a couple nights ago. At the time, no shops were open and no mobile services were available, so we towed the car all the way back home to the east bay. First thing in the morning, we try to look on Yelp and get quotes to replace the tires. Orozco's was quick to give a quote and easy to get to. The quote was lower than Costco Tires even with the labor surcharge, and we all know how crazy the wait can be at Costco. So the choice was obvious. We towed the car to Orozco's and they were super friendly. We opted to get all 4 tires changed since there was a buy-3-get-1-free special and you might as well replace all your tires together anyways so they wear evenly. They were done in like 5 minutes. Very very happy with this business and will definitely go there again in the future and recommend them to everyone. Just incredible service and hardworking guys there. read more

I went to to Orzco's Tires many times in the past. I expected the good service and prices I have had in the past. We agreed on putting 4 used tires on the car. He only had 2 but would get 2 more. I believed he was going to get 2 more used tires. The cost I agreed with would be $250.00 plus tax and fees. When I returned to pick up my car he had put 4 new tires that weren't the right size and charged me more than $550.00 I was really pissed off. I am ill and no mood the wait for them the take the tires off my vehicle. So I put the charge on my all ready high balance card. He didn't even give me a receipt. read more

I called Victor yesterday for a quote on 2 different brands of tires and wasn't sure which one I wanted to go with. He informed me that he would be able to get both of them for me and gave me his recommendation for which brand he thought was better for my car. He promptly called me a couple hours after they were delivered and due to my schedule I opted to come in the next morning. Next morning comes around, he calls me to remind me my tires are in. I show up, pull right in, he greets me and the guys get started. I jokingly told him I was going to time them to see how long it would take. 8 minutes later, both tires brand new and changed. AMAZING. Paid my bill, he told me he would double patch my tires for free if I was to get a nail in them, which I do about once a month. I was up the street at my normal oil change place, and I casually mentioned, hey- where would y'all go if you needed to get a new set of tires? And of the three guys standing there, they all directed me here, to Orozco's. They told me, look, you're going to be passing a chain tire place to get there, but don't be fooled. This is the place to go. No nonsense, no BS, fair pricing, and great FAST service. Seeing as my tax refund had already arrived, and I was putting money aside for the tires anyway, I headed over there to see what was up. Everything I was promised by the oil change guys, I got, and then some. It's not some great place that has a huge waiting room or fancy showroom. But it has a ton of tires and guys that are truly quick and down to the point. They back up their work and will help you out whenever you need it. My tire pressure light started flashing, and after a moment of panic and googling, I found out it meant the pressure sensor needed replacing. I also found out it was not cheap. And I found out that usually when one goes out, the sensors in the other 3 wheels usually go out shortly after. I got on the phone and called 15 tire stores plus the dealer service center, and these guys had the best price. Plus, they were open late enough that I could go after work. I went in, they tested my sensors and replaced the dead one in under 15 minutes. It was super impressive. And to top it off, they recommended I wait to replace the others, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. So refreshing to not be upsold when dealing with car stuff. Thank you all so much, I really appreciate it! I will be back when my other sensors go out for sure. read more

Came here again after we popped a tire - mid-morning on a weekend. There was no wait and they had us in and out in less than 10 minutes. They also offered to find a used tire for our spare instead of a brand new one, an option that saved us $100. If they told me they only had new tires I would have paid the extra money, but they are fair and offer good prices. I moved out of Berkeley a couple months ago, so I first got estimates from other places closer to where I live now. All of them quoted me $150 or more. I'm glad I made the slightly longer drive back to Orozco's because all in all, they charged less than $50. Never going anywhere else! read more

Very fast service, I was in and out within 10-15 minutes for a nail punctured tire. It costed me $30 and the mechanic made sure to pop the tires to 39 psi. This was also how my dealership had it despite the rating for 33 psi on the side of the door. Both mechanics filled the tire to 39 psi despite not knowing the original pressure, and they both independently came to that conclusion for my 2018 RX 450h f sport. read more

They have new tires cheaper than any big box tire place. However, I get a different price every time I call ahead and arrive. UGH! I like supporting small businesses so I will continue to get new tires here. They'll have you in and out in no time. Make sure to call ahead to make sure they have your tire in stock. I haven't personally had any issues but I like to call ahead just in case considering my tires are hard to find. CASH ONLY! Also the location keeps changing, but store their phone number in your phone so you don't miss them when they do move around. read more

I was able to drop in without an appointment and they straightened my rim in about 15 minutes for a very, very low price! Oh yeah, Orozco's. I can't speak to any service offered other than tires. a) Fast: These guys are fast. They can have your tires replaced an balanced in about 15-30 minutes, depending on the breaks b) Affordable: Be sure to get new tires. They have used and likely retreads as well, but despite the savings, new tires are the way to go. As far as tires for my Tacoma go, they beat the "good" price offered by Good Year by about $20 per tire, and that's without extended negotiations. Yes, this is one of those places where reasonable counter offers will be entertained. c) They won't shame you. We all sometime get wrapped up in business and day to day routines, forgetting to do the little stuff like rotating the tires. While I've never been in this situation with Orozco's, I know people who have, and the verdict is that Orozco's will happily do business with you without shaming you. d) Rotation and repairs are very affordable: The first time I came here, I got a nail stuck in my tire. It was like my truck had a tap shoe. Anyhow, I feared that repair would be impossible and that replacement was inevitable. Orozco's proved me wrong. I got my tire repaired for less than $30 ( I honestly don't remember what I paid, but it was cheap) and drove on that tire for another year or two before I had to replace. e) Honest: Yeah, I know, one can never really be sure, particularly when it comes to tires and other vehicle parts subject to wear and tear, but I've always gotten a good vibe from these guys. f) Friendly enough: It's still Berkeley, not doubt, but the guys who work here have always be courteous and cordial with me, and that exceeds all expectations in Berkeley. g) The layout for the shop is unfortunate: you drive, and have to back out. Sadly the garage is about three cars deep, so if someone forgets to leave their keys and you're two or three cars in, you could wind up waiting a bit longer than usual. I have been buying from Orozco for ages. Yes, he does lack in credibility,ansd his shop is the best described as "shadowee": it is dirty, and everybody who works there smells like they had not washed in years. Never mind, his tires were good - until they were bad. I bought a new tire from him in 2022, and asked him, "how long it will last"? His response was, "for the rest of your life". Good news, I am alive, and the tire completely bold because Orozco failed to be a professional, never aligned my tires, even though I was there 2 months ago. Today, I showed him receipt for 2022 new tire, and he refused to take any responsibility while his employees looked menacingly at me. I was scared for my safety, so I left. Orozco is a crook, never go to him if you choose safety for your car tires. read more

I got a flat - the nasty kind where the side of your tire is jacked & it can't be patched - the night before needing to make a long drive. I yelped "tire shop" & Orozco's came up with other shops in the area. Since I needed to be on the road as soon as possible, I chose this shop because they open at 8 instead of 8:30 like most. Big O Tires was open, but they only have new tires. I didn't want to purchase 4 new tires & Orozco's was the only shop in the area that had used tires (even recommended by the associate behind the counter this morning at Big O's on San Pablo. I showed up at 7:50 & was greeted by who I think is the owner. He was super pleasant, directed my car into the bay & let me know "the kids" would be there soon. Like clockwork, the guys showed up at 7:55 & before 8 my tire was being replaced. They're cash only, and B of A is a block away, so while they worked I walked to the bank. $45 cash for the tire, but I gave them the $60 I took out of the ATM - the speed with which I was in & out was worth more than that to me. I started to write this just after leaving but held off so I could test their work on the road. Made it to Sac safely, speeding & all. Highly recommend Orozco's Tires for anyone not needing brand new tires. read more
