I just have to add to my first review. Francisco, his father, his uncle are actually the best customer service team I have ever come across in a history spanning over 6 decades. They are excellent painters, when there is a problem it is immediately scheduled for the resolution. I find this team no ifs ands or buts to be the most responsive providing customers with follow up service in a timely and extremely professional manner. Thank you Francisco. I appreciate you and your team very much. To all of you reading this review. It just does not get better than this team of painters. read more

i seldom write reviews, but if I could give Ornelas Painting 100 stars I would! Under a very tough deadline, Francisco, Elias, and the entire team gave 120% with a "can do" attitude that I have never witnessed before. They are professional, courteous and competent all at the same time. Francisco did everything in his power to jump through hoops to accommodate us in every way possible. I HIGHLY recommend Ornelas Painting. We've been doing home remodeling projects and recently worked with another painter which was totally frustrating. Ornelas was referred by a friend and I'm so glad we found them. Ornelas was a great experience. They have great communication, detailed the job description, had a very fair price, and did great quality work. I was very impressed with their prep to ensure dust from sanding didn't get into furniture, etc. Ornelas is great to work with! read more

If you are looking for a reliable, high-quality, professional painting contractor who can also repair drywall like a master...look no further. Here is our experience. Our beautiful home was completely remodeled just over a year ago. Sadly, we recently had a copper line slab pluming leak. To make sure this never happened again, we made the decision to re-pipe the plumbing in our entire home. The plumber was very careful cutting holes in the drywall to pull the new pipe to every faucet and valve in our home. We ended up with more than 30 drywall holes. Based on a recommendation, we called Francisco Ornelas with Ornelas Painting. He made an appointment to bid our job, He arrived right on time. He carefully inspected our home, and we received a professional and fair bid within a couple of days. Four days later Francisco and his team were working on our home. They carefully covered our floors, furniture, cabinets and more. With everything protected, they completed the drywall repairs and repainted the repairs walls and ceilings (wall to wall) within 2-days. Could our walls ever be the same again? Francisco said that when they were done, we would not be able to tell where the holes had been. He was so right! Our home looks fantastic due to the amazing work on Francisco and his team. The pictures tell our story. 5-stars is not enough. We cannot more highly recommend Ornelas Painting. We are so grateful! read more

What can I say other than I am blown away by the quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness. I've hired many contractors over the years and as long as these guys are in business, they get the job. Just completed multiple projects with them and I couldn't ask for more. Super friendly and zero price gouging. read more

METICULOUS & PROFESSIONAL! Called Ornelas Painting last minute. They replied immediately to my request and helped me in a jam!! I needed newly installed wooden exterior doors primed before it started raining again. They rushed to help me, arrived out front at 7:45 AM and Alex rang the doorbell at 8:00 sharp ... to race against the rain. Not only did Alex primer the doors and new casings, but also spray painted them all perfectly. Alex sealed cracks and even started painting baseboard and quarter-rounds .. well beyond the scope of service, to ensure the whole wall looked brand new! Francisco also paint-matched and bought matching paint .. then they painted interior walls near the doors plus painted my exterior stucco near the doors. AMAZING. All this did not change the originally stated quote. I'm blown away by this company. Great service and a super price. read more

So knowledgeable, always on time, excellent communication, professional, patient, gives honest feedback, flexuble, very hard working, high attention to detail, very good listeners. and we are so happy with the finished job. You can tell they have pride in their work, and they were very pleasant. They are great! They were not the highest bid nor the lowest bid. But the cost was well worth it! Others in our neighborhood referred us, and now we know why! We highly recommend them! read more

I just had our house painted by Francisco and team at Ornelas Painting, and I am totally pleased with their work! They were professional in every sense of the word.. Showed up on time, thoroughly power washed my home, filled and sealed all cracks, replacing rotten wood.. their attention to detail is amazing! Workers were very polite and efficient. They covered and taped the grounds neatly.. gave me several painted samples of different colors on my wall to show me how it would actually look versus just on a swatch. Big difference! I ended up going w one of their options rather than what I originally chose! They used Dunn Edward's paint, high quality paint, painted thresholds and landlings off the balcony.. just super attention to detail. My family recommended them to me and they were awesome. I highly recommend Ornelas painting Company! Thank you guys! read more

Francisco and all his guys are the best! Fast. Faster than they said originally. Awesome job. They painted outside house and two long walls along property. They painted every square inch inside including cupboards, closets, shelves! They patched countless holes and repaired chips in the wood. Everything! My house sings now from the job they did and the colors they helped me pick out. They helped get rid of my ugly brick fireplace with dry wall! They performed way above and beyond. Nice crew! Reliable! Highly recommend this team!! Included before and after! Love these guys. read more

I can't boast enough about the excellent job that was done painting our home by Ornelas Painting. Francisco and his team were very professional and went above and beyond to make this as easy for Us (with our 6 kids) as possible! They had the most reasonable prices and continued to show their excellence in customer satisfaction throughout the entire painting process. Amazing attention to detail and even included smaller details that weren't included in our quote. They were quick and did an amazing job painting our living room, dining room and hallway. They were prompt and finished quicker than he initially said even with all the extra add ons I requested! They were super patient with all my color requests and allowed me to take my time. Since I was in between colors, Francisco brought me many color samples and reassured me that this was the most difficult part of it all, choosing what I would be satisfied with in the end. With that, we are truly appreciative of this company. We have already scheduled for the rest of the interior (kitchen, bathrooms etc.) as well as exterior to be painted by them. If you're looking for an honest and reliable company to have paint your home, business etc., Ornelas Painting should definitely be your choice! read more

This post is overdue - I have to give a shout-out to Francisco and his crew including his Dad Jose. They were thorough and made sure I was happy during the entire process. Francisco is a hard worker and very professional. You won't be disappointed! read more

Highly recommended! The crew painted approximately 80% of the interior of my four bedroom home. The work included painting over very dark original wall colors, the kitchen cabinets, patching drywall and replacing all of the cheap baseboards with 100% wood baseboards, including sealing them off to avoid water penetrating when the floors are cleaned. They showed up on time everyday, cleaned or straightened up at the end of each day and took care to minimize residual dust and paint in other areas of the house. Not to mention, they always had smiling faces and great attitudes. Francisco made sure to communicate the plan and expectations for every work day. The crew actually cares that the end work product is of high quality. It is so hard to find true craftsmen these days and I will forever recommend and call Ornelas Painting for all my painting needs. I definitely will be calling them back to paint the remaining 20%. read more

Ornelas Painting did a wonderful job on my interior painting. My realtor recommended them to me and I'm really glad she did. They are a family business and the father/owner, Elias, was very easy to work with and an overall nice guy. He gave me an excellent quote ($$$ cheaper than other companies) and took the time to swatch paint colors to help me figure out which color I wanted to go with. His crew was very efficient and detail-oriented. They were always smiling and positive throughout the entire job. They did not miss a spot and really took their time with the moldings and doors. I used another company for the exterior painting (due to HOA recommendation) and I could tell that Ornelas did a superior job. I will use them again in the future. I would whole heartedly recommend this company to everyone! read more

I have been in the building trades my entire life. Over the course of my career I have worked with all trades in many facets. I am currently a Journal Correspondent for a nationwide trade magazine. It is easy for me to recognize leadership within a company that encompasses what I consider the seven functions of a team, Trust, Communication, Commitment, Accountability, Responsibility, Loyalty, and Results. I found these attributes in working with Francisco and Elias Ornelas and their crew. Previously, We had many disappointing appointments and proposals to paint the exterior of our house. Driving home from work one day I saw the Ornelas Painting Van and decided to gamble and give them a call. Glad I did. We are truly happy and appreciative of their work, timliness, and professionalism. My wife and I are incredibly picky when it comes to quality and value. I have recommended Ornelas to my best friends and neighbors and would gladly use them again. These folks are easy to work with and striving to be the best in the business. A rare find nowadays in a society where WORK ETHIC and PRIDE IN WORK seems to have all been lost. Please consider Ornelas. We feel fortunate that we did. Be safe, Be kind, Work hard :) read more

We were looking to paint the interior of our 100 year old Tudor home in Santa Ana and a neighbor who is a well known designer referred us to Orenelas Painters. From our first meeting with Francisco he impressed us very much with his friendliness and professionalism. Their business is family owned and everyone who works on their team is professional, talented and a pleasure to work with. They did a few trickier paint projects perfectly like matching the historic texture of a ceiling section that fell in (when our electrician stepped into the attic floor - yikes) and changing textured walls into smooth ones to create a more modern fresh update. They also painted some furniture and built ins which created a beautiful custom look in our bedroom. Their prices are reasonable and they completed everything on time and took pride in their work. We highly recommend this talented team and would trust them with any project. read more
